La mission du Yule Creek Lodge est de fournir aux amis et aux familles un lieu de rassemblement pour profiter des plaisirs abondants de la vie dans les montagnes.

Situé sur 53 acres, principalement en bordure de la forêt nationale, le lodge a une atmosphère accueillante avec le confort de la maison. En hiver, la cabine offre un accès facile à certains des plus doux ski de randonnée et de ski nordique du Colorado, ainsi que de grandes vues et de l'intimité. Peaufinez jusqu'à Marble Peak ou No Name Peak ou dirigez-vous vers les sentiers nordiques tranquilles situés dans et au-dessus de la Crystal Valley. De nombreuses possibilités de luge, de raquette et d'aventure se trouvent partout dans la propriété pour des heures de plaisir pour tout le monde.

En hiver, la cabane est aménagée comme une cabane de montagne. Cela signifie que vous apportez votre literie à mettre sur des lits couverts de flanelle. Des oreillers sont fournis. * Aucun frais de nettoyage ou de linge n'est facturé en hiver.

Pendant les mois d'été, des draps seront fournis moyennant des frais supplémentaires.

En été, les opportunités sont infinies. Le début du sentier Raspberry Ridge est à quelques pas de la porte d'entrée. Sans monter dans la voiture, vous pouvez accéder à la pêche à la truite immaculée ainsi qu'explorer la ville de Marble à pied. Le Yule Creek Lodge est le camp de base idéal pour explorer les lacs de Yule, Lead King Basin, Anthracite Pass et bien d'autres aventures en haute montagne.

Cette maison hors réseau comprend l'eau courante, une douche, une salle de bains intérieure, un réfrigérateur, une cuisinière à gaz et un foyer.

La cuisine contient suffisamment de casseroles / poêles, couverts, assiettes, bols, etc. pour cuisiner et servir 10 personnes.

Assurez-vous d'obtenir vos provisions avant de vous rendre au Lodge car la ville de Marble n'est pas fiable pour la nourriture et les boissons.

The YuleCreek Lodge was perfect for our family of 4 plus our dog. Beautiful home, perfect location, comfortable beds. Great way to relax and enjoy family time!

Overall, we very much enjoyed our 4 night stay at Yule Creek Lodge which is why we rated it a five star. The house was very clean and beautifully furnished, especially the kitchen, which has everything you could want for food preparation! The mountain view from the deck is also pretty amazing and we spent considerable time out there on the deck enjoying the peace and solitude of the lodge's location. Things that worked less well for us, as two adults in our early 70's, with a 14 year old Golden Retriever, were: 1) negotiating our car on the long steep gravel driveway down to (and up from) the lodge (the suggestion to park up at the main road and carry all of our gear up and down that driveway was not a viable alternative for us); 2) trying to back our car up closer to the lodge on the lower, flatter, two-track section of the driveway which had tall weeds growing down the middle of the two tracks -- the weeds presented a real challenge because they triggered our car's back up alert system, halting the car, until we turned off the warning system in order to finish backing in and unloading our car; 3) discovering that most (all?) of the area's hiking trails were rated "D" for Difficult, which, unfortunately, was beyond our physical abilities at this stage of our lives; and 4) finding an insufficient number of lights in the lodge strong enough for reading (the kitchen lighting was great!). We're happy that we had the experience of staying at Yule Creek Lodge!

Summer getaway

Enjoyed a 6 day break from the summer heat and this place. We have young kids and we appreciated that this place, while clean and suitable for adults, also worked really well with younger kids too!

We were slightly concerned with “roughing it” in the off-grid cabin but found it had everything we needed and we were super comfortable. Definitely would come back again! Kids loved the wildflowers and wild raspberries.

Outstanding

Beyond being a beautiful home, on beautiful property, in a beautiful remote town…this was one of the most relaxing vacation stays ever. It’s hard to describe how cozy and relaxing it is, just have to experience it for yourself. I wish we could live there. The only thing that made up for having to leave was the beautiful drive along the Crystal river to Crested Butte.

Aspen Tree Retreat

The cabin was comfortable and well stocked with household necessities. You probably need a high clearance vehicle to get past the rut at the top of the driveway. It was wonderful to have such beautiful views of the mountains. We also enjoyed walking down the two-track tothe south side of Beaver Lake and over to Lower Yule Creek Falls. As with any cabin in the woods there are many little woodland creatures so don't leave snacks around for them to help themselves to. All in all it is nice cabin in a nice location.

Counts Family Vacation

We stayed at 3 different houses on our Colorado trip and this house was my favorite of all. It is off the grid and secluded so its very peaceful and quiet. Marble is an awesome town, would stay again!

A great thanksgiving retreat!

Such a wonderful experience staying at the Yule Creek Lodge while celebrating our 4th annual friendsgiving. The lodge was so clean and cozy, we were pleasantly surprised by the kitchen amenities. The stove/oven was practically new and cooked our turkey wonderfully. 10/10 experience!

Incredible views, incredible house

If you are looking for something away from the standard Breck/Aspen/Vail experience with a quiet town and great fishing, swimming, hiking out of the back door this is your place. We spent five days here and popped into Aspen and Snowmass one morning for downhill biking and lunch. Very relaxing, great views, will be back for sure.

A few days in the Mountains

The property was perfect- spacious, clean, private, beautiful views with everything we needed to be comfortable. We enjoyed the hike to Yule Creek Falls and especially loved the quarry road views. The Ranger ride to the ruins of the Crystal Mill was so much fun and of course you can’t explain the beauty- pictures do not do it justice. Would highly recommend and would love to come back.

Peaceful Getaway

Yule Creek Lodge was a great location for a family getaway. It's just outside downtown Marble, so there is still a fair amount of traffic on the road, but the cabin sits away from the road so it feels secluded and private. We had plenty of space and took our 4 wheelers up the road to see the quarry as well as to see the Crystal Mill. I would definitely come here again!

Peaceful Getaway

This cabin is located in one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen. When we were there, we experienced below 0 degree temperatures, but the cabin stayed toasty warm! The cabin was stocked with the essentials and the only thing lacking was a TV and a microwave. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and even had a red fox visit us on Christmas morning! If you want to get away from it all, we highly recommend this property. The only suggestion for the host would be to plow the driveway in the winter. It was very difficult to get things to and from the cabin, even with the use of the sled.

Family reunion in Marble

I rented this cabin in Marble for my family of 7 adults and 1 child and 3 dogs. We could not have been happier! Communication with Vida was always quick and friendly. The cabin was exactly as represented. It was perfectly clean and organized and had everything that we could have wanted for a weekend with the family. The valley and town of Marble were stunningly beautiful. We really appreciated the owners sharing this obviously well-loved and cared-for spot with us. Many thanks for a great experience in your beautiful corner of Colorado!

Off the Grid Cabin

First, you must understand what they mean with off the grid. You are able to turn on the wifi to check or use wifi calling, but you can't leave it on. They use solar panels and a generator. The town of Marble can't get cell service. So...if you can get away from your technology and relax, then this place is for you. If not, I wouldn't recommend it. Only downfall is there is no coffeemaker or microwave because of the electricity usage, but you can shower, use a blow dryer with no problem and use the washer/dryer with no problem. We simply went to Carbondale and got Folgers boil in bag coffee and used the tea pot on the stove. Now...if you can get away from your technology, you will be well pleased. The town is small, like 100 population, but they have ATV/Jeep rentals. We took our own ATV and rode to Crystal and saw the Crystal Mill (one of the most photographed places in Colorado) and then took the Lead King Basin Loop back to Marble. It is about a 12 mile drive and takes maybe half a day. Some parts are real rocky with steep drop offs but well worth the ride! Absolutely breathtaking views with many waterfalls and mountains. Many people were just hiking it. The town has no grocery store, but they have the most absolute bar b que at Slow Groovin' Bar B Que. You can ride your ATV/Razor from the cabin into town. It seems to be a great ride for bikers too. You can hike about a half mile from the cabin to see another waterfall. It had rained the day we got there and the waterfall was in full force. On the road the cabin sits, you can ride up to the top on your ATV and at the end is a marble quarry that sits up in the mountains with a waterfall beneath. We did a lot of porch sitting at the cabin. You can see the lake and river below. The bunk area has a beautiful view to wake up if you like. We slept in the lower bedroom so we could open all the windows at night and had a beautiful view of the stars. I would recommend this if you just want to get away and relax without all the technology. Also, I would recommend for hiking, ATV/Razor enthusiast. You will want to bring your own groceries. Other than the bar b que place, I don't think there is anything. We grilled most of the time.

There are two super close families that share this amazing place, the Campbells (Jules and Nan) and the Dillards (Scott and Vida). Both families love living in Carbondale and enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities, including mountain biking, hiking, whitewater kayaking, skiing and more. They each have 2 kids: Nevee and Leo Campbell, and Helen and Morgan Dillard.
We were drawn to Marble because of the beauty and remoteness, as well as the backcountry skiing and hiking opportunities. When Scott discovered this magical cabin was for sale in 2013, we worked together to be able to purchase it and share it others.
Jules Campbell is from Vermont and currently works as a ski patroller at Aspen Highlands.
Nan Campbell is a true local, growing up outside of Aspen. She now works as a very talented middle school PE teacher in Carbondale.
Scott Dillard is originally from Alaska, and now works as a realtor in Carbondale.
Vida Dillard is the manager of the lodge and is from Alabama, and North Carolina.

This cabin is truly unique. Its a log cabin, out in a gorgeous area. There is access to amazing hiking trails, skiing, atving, hunting, fishing and more, just outside the door. And amazing opportunities for just relaxing on the porch and soaking in the spectacular views.
