Welcome to Liten Gata Cottage-a quiet, thoughtfully designed retreat tucked at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac just minutes from Palmer. The name comes from Norwegian and means "The Little Street," a nod to the calm charm of this small neighborhood setting.

Designed with couples in mind, the cottage blends rustic farmhouse character with modern comfort. Classic barn-inspired architecture and warm wood finishes create an inviting atmosphere, while updated features ensure an easy and relaxing stay.

Inside, you'll find a bright, well-appointed kitchen with quality cabinetry, concrete countertops, stainless steel appliances, and oversized windows that fill the space with natural light. Whether you're preparing a simple breakfast or winding down with dinner after a day of exploring, the kitchen is fully equipped for comfortable stays.

The spa-style bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub with a tiled surround- the perfect place to unwind after hiking, sightseeing, or winter adventures.

Upstairs, a deck extends the living space outdoors. During Alaska's long summer days, it's an ideal spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation. In the winter, when conditions align, you may even catch glimpses of the northern lights.

The cottage is designed for one or two adults and features one bed. Reservations with more than two adults are not permitted. Children may be permitted with prior approval; however, please note there is only one sleeping space. Guests traveling with an infant or toddler will need to provide their own crib or portable sleeping arrangement.

The cottage is not childproofed and does not include amenities such as baby gates, outlet covers, high chairs, or other child-specific equipment. Parents are responsible for supervision at all times.

Liten Gata Cottage offers the best of both worlds-a calm neighborhood setting with quick access to Palmer and surrounding outdoor recreation. The Musk Ox Farm is just a short drive away, along with hiking trails, scenic drives, seasonal activities, and local shops are all within easy reach.

While the cottage is located within a residential neighborhood, mature trees and the end of at cul-de-sac location provide a quiet and comfortable atmosphere without the isolation of a remote property.

This space is intentionally designed for two guests. It's well suited for couples seeking a peaceful Alaska getaway, anniversary trip, or weekend reset.

Whether you're visiting for adventure or simply looking to slow down and recharge, this cottage offers a comfortable home base close to everything-yet pleasantly removed from traffic and crowds.

Out of respect for our neighbors and the quiet nature of the area, parties and large gatherings are not permitted. We kindly ask guests to be mindful of noise and help us maintain the peaceful character of the neighborhood. No smoking or vaping of any kinds is allowed inside the cottage. Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited on the property. Pets are not permitted.
