Parking & Seasonal Property Care
âą One off-street parking space is available on the driveway at the front of the property. In winter, access to a plug-in outlet for block heaters is available where applicable.
âą Snow clearing: A professional crew attends after snowfalls and aims to clear walkways and parking access within 24 hours.
âą Lawn care: In summer, a crew attends weekly (weather permitting) to mow and maintain the yard.
These exterior services help keep the property safe, tidy, and well cared for throughout the year.
House Rules & Fit (Important)
This suite is designed for guests who value calm, respectful stays and a well-maintained home environment. A few guidelines help keep the space well cared for and enjoyable for everyone.
âą Quiet Hours / No Parties: Please keep noise low between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Homes are for quiet enjoyment only. Parties, events, or gatherings are not permitted.
âą Smoke-Free Home: No smoking or vaping indoors.
âą Registered Guests Only: All overnight guests â including adults, children, and infants â must be registered on the reservation. Overnight visitors who are not registered are not permitted. Day visitors require prior approval.
âą No Pets: This suite is not pet-friendly.
âą Shoes & Belongings - Please remove shoes at the top of the stairs. - Do not bring bikes, boards, skis, or other outdoor recreational equipment inside the home. - Please do not lean items against the faux wood wall near the entranceâit is decorative and easily damaged.
âą Odours & Consideration for Others - Please avoid strong or lingering odours (heavy cooking, incense, etc.) that may impact the comfort of other guests or future stays.
âą Additional Guest Fees - Reservations include a base number of guests. - Additional guests are subject to a per-guest, per-day fee, applied to the entire stay. - Guest count changes must be registered on the reservation.
âą Dry Sauna Rules (Seasonal: Approximately OctoberâApril)
The sauna is a dry sauna and is provided for the quiet enjoyment of registered guests only.
- Sauna use is not permitted for visitors, parties, or events
- Sit on a towel at all times to protect the wood
- Bare feet only â no shoes
â No glass, red wine or staining beverages
- No water on the rocks â this is a dry sauna
- Use is at your own risk; children must be supervised at all times
Failure to follow sauna rules may result in loss of sauna privileges and/or additional cleaning or repair charges.
âą Rental Agreement: A standard short-term rental agreement is provided after booking and must be signed within 48 hours. For reservations made less than 48 hours before check-in, the agreement must be signed within 4 hours. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
âą Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of up to $300 for whole homes is required. The deposit must be authorized on the guestâs credit card via our booking system (OwnerRez) prior to arrival and is released after checkout, subject to no damage beyond normal wear and tear. Our rates include standard cleaning based on typical use. If a stay requires excessive cleaning beyond a standard turnover (for example, substantially increased cleaning time or labour), additional cleaning costs may be deducted from the security deposit based on documented service provider charges.
