The apartment is on the outskirts of Stollberg in a quiet location. It is on the ground floor of a two-family house. The owner lives on the first floor and has its own entrance.

There is a little ski slope about 100 metres from the house. It is about 200 metres to an adventure playground. There are many places of interest nearby and further afield, such as museums, visitor mines etc. It is 25 minutes by city rail to Chemnitz and about an hour by car to Dresden, Leipzig and Oberwiesental. There is a leisure pool in Thalheim 6km away and Geyer 12km away and thermal baths in Bad Schlema and Bad Wolkenstein.
