Southern Seaclusion, 3BR Beach Home: Elevator, Fire Pit & Fenced Yard

Southern Seaclusion is a spotless, fully equipped beach home designed for families who don't want to compromise. The open-concept main living area is bright and airy, with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable seating, fast WiFi throughout, and everything you need from day one — no hunting for a corkscrew or an extra towel.

A private in-home elevator makes every floor accessible for grandparents, guests with mobility needs, or anyone hauling a week's worth of beach gear and groceries up from the car — more on that below. The fenced backyard gives little ones (and adults) space to unwind after the beach, with a fire pit for evening s'mores and a private outdoor shower to rinse the sand off before coming inside.

Bedrooms & Sleeping

The home sleeps 7 across 3 bedrooms with 4 beds:

Primary bedroom: king bed, ensuite bath, walk-in closet
Bedroom 2: queen bed
Bedroom 3: bunk bed (full & twin) — great for kids

Each room is set up with the same care as the rest of the house — fresh linens, good lighting, and real storage space.

Getting to the Beach

The beach is an easy half-mile away — a quick walk, a short bike ride, or a 2-minute drive. Oak Island's beaches are uncrowded and genuinely beautiful. Note: from Memorial Day to Labor Day, the town charges for public beach parking/access points — just scan the QR code posted at the lot to pay, no cash needed. Parking at the house is always free, with a carport that fits up to 3 vehicles.

For Guests with Accessibility Needs

This home was thoughtfully set up with accessibility in mind. The private elevator provides full floor-to-floor access without any stairs. Both bathrooms feature grab handles, and one includes a roll-in shower with a built-in seat — ideal for wheelchair users or guests who need additional bathroom support. Oak Island is a laid-back, family-friendly beach town — no high-rises, no party scene, just good beaches, fresh seafood, and a slower pace. You're just minutes from local grocery stores and a handful of great seafood spots. It's the kind of place people come back to every year.
