Welcome to Blackberry Hill! You won't find a better home that offers a hot tub, pool table, year-round mountain views, single-level living, and allows 4 dogs all within 2.5 miles of downtown Blowing Rock!
The property has been lovingly renovated and is ready to welcome guests now! The open concept great room has leather furnishings around the stone gas log fireplace with a SmartTV with HuluLive and all the rest of the streaming apps to enjoy your favorite shows. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite counters and there's a dining table for everyone to come together to enjoy a meal.
There's no squabble over the best bedroom here - all three sleeping spaces are cozy, welcoming, and offer a private ensuite bathroom complete with hair dryers! Choose between the Queen suite or one of the two King suites. The sofa in the living room also folds out to sleeper for a bonus space.
Step outside and let the wonder of the mountains renew your soul. The deck wraps around the house and offers open-air enjoyment of the mountains. Grill up a feast on the gas grill and ejoy it on the picnic-style table, or kick back in the Adirondacks and watch the valley fog roll over the mountains beyond. On the lower level patio, sink into the hot tub and let the warm bubbles soak away your cares.
After you're done in the hot tub, head into the lower-level game & recreation room for a fun game of pool or to watch your favorite movies or the Big Game on the TV! This room is accessed by an exterior flight of stairs and offers a perfect place for the kids to play off some energy or the adults to engage in a little friendly competition.
With everything that Blackberry Hill offers, you might not want to leave this beautiful haven! When you do, you'll find yourself very close to historic downtown Blowing Rock and some of the area's best shopping and dining. The Blue Ridge Parkway, including the ever-popular Cone Trails, are within 1 mile of the home as well. Boone is just a hop, skip, and a jump away either via the highways or via scenic Shull's Mill Road, too!
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION & NOTES
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. Towels and linens will be provided.
- The driveway to Blackberry Hill is gravel, and 4WD is recommended from November-April. Chains may also be necessary during inclement weather. There is gravel parking for up to 5 vehicles.
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home allows up to 4 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
