Very disappointed and unsanitary. We arrived late evening found the house dirty. Pictures on the listing were definitely old. We found dried food in the fridge and old food on the countertop, Pee on the toilet seats, bugs around the perimeters of the room, stained linens, wads of hair in each of the showers, clothing in the living room..the list could go on⊠In conversation with the host through the app, she was present when the cleaner was there- not sure how any of this is ok at a sanitary level. The lack of concern for the unsanitary conditions were appalling. To top it off after a long day of travel we discovered there were no sheets on the master bed. My kids refused to sleep under the covers on the beds because they were stained and appeared unwashed. The hostess was responsive offering to amend the sheet problem but offered no solution for the dirty house. We of course submitted all evidence to VRBO and left the next day. We are still waiting on the rest of our refund. We have used VRBO many times and itâs frustrating that they can simple choose to not make things right when so much evidence was provided. When you go on vacation, you want it to be relaxing and I have to run to target and buy your own sheets. It was a struggle to find adequate places to stay in the following days and of course this all took time away from a relaxing vacation.
