What a great place! Enjoyed our weekend and had a blast. So happy to find this listing and had a wonderful experience. My husband and I will be back soon! Thanks for the hospitality!
Place was awesome! Itâs in a great, safe neighbourhood. Codes to get in and out so no hassle with exchanging keys. There is a grocery only 2 blocks away and an awesome Mediterranean restaurant across the street. Also walking distance to Cafe Beignet. Bed was super comfy and place was clean. For a bonus thereâs a rooftop lounging area. Will definitely be back!
Wow! Over the top impressed with the building and condo. Such a great location... So conveniently located to everything. Loved the layout of the condo and all the personal touches. Clean and fresh! Will be back! Thanks Christie!
Be aware this is right on the streetcar line and only third floor so every time it goes by - all night long - you will hear them. We stayed a Friday and Saturday night and there was a lot of noise on the street - had a car honking one night, some street racing, and the occasional sire. There was also a smell of weed in the hallways and elevator. Location is convenient to everything as per listing.
Loved our weekend in New Orleans and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at Union Lofts! I was a little hesitant to book because I am an avid user of vrbo and I love looking at reviews! This condo was a new listing but I loved the location and the pictures looked great. I am soooo glad I went with my gut because it was exactly as pictured and the location was perfect! We were able to walk everywhere and felt perfectly safe at all times. The owner was extremely helpful and provided suggestions as this was our first trip to the city. The unit was also well stocked with everything you would need: shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, etc. The rooftop grill and hot tub was also a favorite after a long day out on the town! I would highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed!!! I hope it's available for our next trip back!
Taylor Swift and Halloween Trip - Perfect Location
This condo is in the PERFECT location!!! It is right in the middle of everything and the walk to Canal St and Bourbon St is super quick. The condo/loft was much bigger than I expected it to be from the pictures and it had everything that we needed. The check-in and out directions were super easy. Lots of great communication with the host. I looked through reviews for info on parking, so here it is for others --- we were able to find a spot right in front of the Union Lofts when we arrived and we arrived after 7:00pm, so it was free on-street parking. Then the next morning, I paid for an hour (through the app) until we were ready to leave and then we moved to a parking garage. We parked for $25 for 24 hours. We then moved the car on Saturday and paid for an hour until 7:00pm and the meters are free on Sunday. We left on Monday, so I just paid the meter on the app until we left. I was worried about parking since I knew it was going to be a busy weekend, but it was actually very easy and much, much cheaper than I thought it would be. For food, Galliher's just down the street almost to Canal Street - is AMAZING!!! We ate there are first day and then never found food or service that good anywhere else, so we went back for dinner on our last night. When we go back to New Orleans....we will for sure stay here again. It was just perfect!!!
What a GREAT PLACE!!!!! The pictures donât do it justice with how beautiful this loft truly is. From the lobby entrance thatâs decorated with retro electrical panels to Mardi- Gras beads; truly one of a kind. The location couldnât be better. Within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We highly recommend parking in the near by garage and paying the daily fee. Only a few blocks off Canal St. but far enough away to be quiet. The street cars were barely noticeable during the day, after 8AM ish, and we never heard one at night but we were out until 10 or so every night. Loft was near perfect as it had everything we needed but is a loft so be prepared. Gabe and Ms. Judy have done a fabulous job of making sure you truly feel at home. The loft is very spacious, clean and organized with things you didnât even know you needed. Ms. Judy was extremely accessible and quick to answer any questions we had and always super friendly. 10/10 would stay there again and suggest you do as wellâŠ. The Mediterranean restaurant across the street is phenomenal, highly recommended.
This loft apartment is a great home base for exploring the city. The host is responsive and generous, the bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and the location is perfect. A few things to note - it is not a one-bedroom place but indeed a loft. There are privacy screens around the "bedroom" but they're open at the top. This worked fine for us but worth noting for those that might need more privacy. It is right on a streetcar line, but they're doing construction on the line until March 2022. Buses run by so that's no problem, but if you like to sleep in past 7am and don't typically use earplugs than you might want to bring some with you. There is A LOT of construction noise and it's pretty much right outside your window. All of that said, we did have a great stay in NOLA and appreciated the hospitality, home away from home, and location!
Everything is within a short walk--an independent cafe just across the street, street cars, Quarter, Civic Theater and Johnny Sanchez just a few blocks away.
Enjoyed our stay very much and will look for this property again the next time! Location is perfect since itâs away from the party scene but close enough in walking distance to everything.
Had a great time in NOLA. The property was continently located in the CBD. Close to everything. The rental was clean and easy to access. Thank you Judy!
Only 1 block off of Canal Street, within walking distance to all of French Quarter attractions. Responsive and helpful owner. Would stay here again no question!!
The efficiency apartment was a great location to get around. We really didn't need a rental car. We walked or rode the trolley everywhere. Parking the rental was expensive. The layout was great. The trolley wasn't real noticeable. The exercise room was nice but the jacuzzi didn't work and we weren't able to get it repaired. The "patio" on the top was great to enjoy the warmer evenings. Minor problem with a partially clogged tub drain. Overall we would go back to get to some of the other areas.
Loved our stay! This is in a great location - walkable to all the tourist attractions in New Orleans. I was with a friend who had never been to New Orleans and she absolutely loved the history book on the coffee table that gave her some background info about the town and places we saw :-)
The bed is comfy and the building is very quiet all of the time (aside from the streetcar going past). It was easy to come back and nap in the afternoon to recharge for an evening in the quarter.
Had a wonderful time in the property. It was clean and the check in/out process went smooth. Christie was easily accessible with the few questions we had. Definitely recommend this property.
I've now got a new favorite place to stay !! Perfect location, very central to everything !! Highly recommend , will definetly use again when back in New Orleans
I stayed here while attending a conference at the New Orleans Marriott. It was a nice walk there and back each day. I stayed on 3 more nights to enjoy the city for sight-seeing. The rental was well appointed and had everything we needed for a relaxing and productive stay. Christie was very easy to work with, supportive, and communicated effectively both pre arrival and during my stay. I highly recommend this rental.
The property was very clean and modern. We had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable.
Overall it was a great location and property. The cable cars were a bit noisy during the day but we weren't there much. At night they did not run much. The location was close to everything and the cable cars made it easy to get to WWII museum. We enjoyed it very much.

Hi I'm Judy. My son Gabe owns the property. I manage it for him when he travels. I am retired from a major airline and love Airbnb. What a wonderful opportunity. I both stay at Airbnb homes every chance I get as well as work hard to maintain the Superhost status. I am just a phone call away if you need anything while you stay at Gabe's.
