⣠The homeowner lives in the main house, completely separate from the guest suite. Your space has its own private entrance, and youâll have exclusive access to all rooms within your suite. There are no shared indoor areas, ensuring your stay is peaceful, private, and comfortable.

Guest access
Guests have full and private access to the entire garage suite and basement suite during their stay. This isnât a shared spaceâyouâll enjoy the freedom and peace of your own private retreat, complete with a separate entrance, your own fully equipped kitchen, and spacious living areas designed for extended comfort.
Please note the garage and basement suite are 2 completely separate rental units on the same property and are not connected. The basement suite is in the main house while the garage suite is above the detached garage in the back alley of the home.
Whether youâre working remotely, visiting a loved one at the nearby hospitals, or just settling in during a move to the city, youâll have everything you need at your fingertipsâincluding high-speed WiFi, in-suite laundry, and complimentary Netflix for cozy nights in.
Best of all? Youâre just a 2-minute walk to Whyte Ave, one of Edmontonâs most dynamic and walkable districtsâfilled with coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, and boutique shopping. You can park your car for days and explore on foot.

- Our homes are fully stocked with the essentials youâll need for a comfortable stay. Supplies are set up to last approximately 7 days. For extended stays beyond this, guests will need to purchase and maintain any additional items they require.
- The air conditioning system is available for your comfort during the summer months but is unavailable during the cooler months.
- The balcony has been winterized for the winter season and is currently unavailable until the spring season.
- For Winter Weather: During the winter season, snow is removed within 24 hours "after" the snowfall has ended.
⊠Additional Guest Fees âŠ
A $15/night fee applies for each guest beyond 2. This helps cover extra supplies, cleaning, and general wear. If youâre booking for more than 2 guests, the fee is already reflected in the nightly rateâno extra charges will be added after booking.
All additional fees are subject to GST and Alberta Tourism Levy taxes for 9% total.
⊠PLEASE NOTE OUR PRE-ARRIVAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER BOOKING âŠ
To ensure a safe, seamless, and high-quality experience, we kindly require all guests to complete the following quick steps after confirming their reservation:
1. Sign our short-term rental agreement
This is a standard document that outlines the terms of your stay, our house rules, and general policies. It protects both parties and helps us maintain the quality of our homes and guest experiences. The rental agreement will be sent automatically after your reservation is confirmed and can be signed digitally in just a few clicks.
2. Complete ID verification
All guests are required to verify their identity through our secure platform. This one-time step helps us ensure the safety of our community and property, and only takes a few minutes.
3. Choose your damage protection option
Youâll have two options to finalize your booking:
â Pay a $50 CAD non-refundable damage waiver, which provides up to $700 CAD in coverage for accidental damage during your stay.
OR
â Choose a refundable $700 CAD security deposit, which is a pre-authorized hold on your credit card taken 2 days before check-in and released automatically 5 days after check-out, provided there is no damage or violation of house rules.
Please note: A 2% processing fee is retained by our payment processor, so the refunded amount will be $686 CAD. However, if you cancel your reservation before the deposit is processed, you will not be charged this fee.
All requirements are clearly communicated and handled securely through our trusted guest portal.
Completion of these steps is required to finalize your booking prior to receiving check in instructions and entry codes.
We have exterior cameras on both the front and back of the suite that record to the cloud 24/7.
There is keyless entry to the home which a code will be provided to you after you book with us.
Please remember that you're staying in our home, not a hotel. Please treat the place with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.
