Family vacation

Had everything we need. Clean and really appreciated the book selection. Very helpful hosts but we also had lots of privacy.

Little piece of paradise

This is a cute cabin in a quiet location for a restful stay yet close enough to local amenities. The owners really make you feel at home and go out of their way to give you hints & tips on how to make the most of your trip including beaches, bush walks & dining spots. Over New years the suggestion for local fireworks spots was great & a highlight for the kids. Overall a clean, cosy, well appointed cabin perfect for young families.

Small but cute

We stayed here for a week during my brothers wedding, the place was small but cute. We had a problem with the hot water on the wedding day which was very frustrating as we then ran late however it was fixed by that afternoon. Other than that hiccup we had a great stay.

Perfect Beach Holiday

We had stayed here before and will again & again. The cabin is so clean & thought has been given to make the cabin comfortable, cosy and welcoming. Fantastic cabin & host.

Beautiful property, easy check in. Host Linda is lovely. Kids were invited to see the ducks and really enjoyed spending Easter here.

Nice stay

A very clean and well maintained little cabin, with all the nessesities as well as some nice little extra's that made the stay special. Like some fresh chicken and duck eggs in the fridge and a selection of dvd's, books and board games These were great for kids as it rained during our stay.

Great accommodation and location

Highly recommend. Everything you need, very clean and beautifully presented. Loved the deck out back amongst the trees for my coffee in morning and family time. Great for family, couple or a few friends. Very short trips to beautiful beaches. Would stay again. Thanks to Linda for the wonderful hospitality and care.

great host, beautiful setting, nice and neat, good location

Thanks so much for Linda and Phil . We have a great weekend even though raining keeped us inside, but surprising gift- sea foods catches by family, made our journey more fun and happy. Live abalones, fishes and lobster, they are so good, we love the small cabin with deck and surrounding few large trees, make you more relaxing for a break in your busy life weekend getaway. We loved and happy to recommend to everyone! Thanks again for Phil and Linda . Wish you and family all best for Christmas and coming year!

Gorgeous Cabin.

Our stay was perfect in every way. Communication was excellent. The cabin was so clean, modern and cozy. Beds were comfortable and beautifully made, towels large and fluffy. Thoughtful extras to make our stay perfect. We will definitely return!

Cosy cottage with extra touches

Perfect for our 2 night stay. Linda is generous and welcoming. Duck eggs and milk, and the bonus of freshly caught fish by members of her family made for a special couple of days while exploring the Caves Beach and Swansea area. Plenty of provisions provided in the kitchen to cook with. Heating was effective at night. Thank you

The cabin was a good size, neat and clean. Linda was a great host and even arranged flower centrepieces to decorate. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

Perfect Getaway

From the minute we walked inside, my husband and i knew we had chosen the right property for our mini break.... clean, comfortable, perfect outdoor setting. Linda has thought of everything you might need, right down to fresh free range eggs for your breakfast etc., thankyou.. Great location to visit some wonderful beaches, swim, fish, walk or just relax and enjoy your time away. We would not hesitate to return to this property, Neds on Northcote. We had a lovely weekend..

Tranquil and secluded , yet so close to everything! A hidden gem

We loved the feel of the cabin from the moment we arrived. Nestled among magnificent trees, we spent many lazy hours relaxing on the verandahs and enjoying our meals outside. You could quite easily believe you were miles from anywhere! The cabin was extremely clean and everything we needed was provided, right down to insect repellent and laundry liquid (both of which i forgot to pack!)! The fresh eggs and flowers were lovely unexpected extras and the compendium of local information was a great reference to exploring the area. We found in it many breathtaking beaches etc that we then went on to visit. The cabin is so close to fantastic walking trails, beaches, bays and cafe/coffee shops that we left the car behind and walked to many of these during our stay. The owners were very welcoming ,replied promptly to all our communications and were more than happy to impart local knowledge / fishing tips etc. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Neds again in the future- i didn't want to leave!

Great for a weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 'Neds on Northcote'. Very well located with only a short drive to Caves Beach, boat ramps and shops. Immaculately presented and family friendly. Owners welcoming and very happy to share local knowledge on good fishing and boating.

The cabin was clean and beautifully presented.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. Everything has been thought of in the cabin, and the washing machine was a great convince. The cabins is located nice and close to beaches, playgrounds and restaurants. We would definitely return.

We are a family of surfers, freedivers and fishermen going back five generations on Blackneds Bay. Our passion is salt water. We are more than happy to share our knowledge of the area regarding surfing, fishing, spearfishing & boating. If we really like you, we might even show you some mudcrab and lobster hotspots.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Ned's on Northcote is cosy cottage surrounded by trees on a large block. There is plenty of parking for boats at the back of the house. The back verandah is a few metres off the ground and is literally in the trees. It is a beautiful place to sit and relax or rig a fishing line.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Ned's on Northcote is about being close to salt water. Nestled in the Swansea Heads peninsula you are surrounded by the Ocean, Blackneds Bay and Swansea Channel. Turn left and you are 700 metres to Frenchmans beach, home of the Frenchmans Boardriders Club. Keep walking and you are at Crabs Creek and Swansea Heads itself. Turn right and you are an 800m walk to Hams Beach and further on to Caves. Neds on Northcote is 100m away from public access to Blackneds Bay, a large fully tidal bay that is fringed by mangroves. It is one of the best places in Lake Macquarie to kayak, fish, and SUP.
