Lovely little cottage RIGHT on the water. The only complaint I have is the bedding could be updated ( stains on comforter). Otherwise a special little place.
This property is very clean and very tiny. If you are by yourself and dont plan on being in there much it is fine. The toilet was an incinerator toilet. It runs for an hour and a half every time it is "flushed" and has a smell to it. Please make sure you screenshot the ad before you book and keep it on hand. Details changed after agreed on. We had issues with our flight and ended up 2 days late and I kept in contact with Eric. It was 2 AM when we arrived and he met us at the property and showed us around (not prompted to) and made us show him we knew how to flush the toilet and where pots and pans were (its a tiny cabin!) and then charged us a late check in fee (this was NOT in the ad when I booked) There are a LOT of stairs to get to the cabin. You are charged for water (can't drink the water there) and for the cannoe and any other supplies at the cabin.
A fantastic property, and a wonderful place to get away from the grind of daily life. The host, Eric; is extremely friendly and was very helpful, not only accommodating our stay, but also provided some wonderful recommendations as to attractions and activites nearby and such. We will absolutely be returning
Adorable cozy cottage on Lake Eden! Perfect for a relaxing quiet getaway. The cottage is right on the lake as pictured. Eric was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again
It was very nice quiet peaceful and serene by the water we truly enjoyed our short stay we loved to come back during summer thank you Eric for such a cozy little nook
Property uses an incinerator toilet which has a long cycle, especially. if you use it before you go to bed. It vibrates and if you are a light sleeper this will impact your stay. Make sure to purchase a gallon of water before you come. Water is not potable and purchasing water for a dollar a drinking bottle will be expensive.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Teeny Tiny Cottage. It is a beautiful and very quiet location. It is a convenient drive to all the wonderful sights in and around Stowe. Eric was a wonderful and informative host. If you are looking for a quaint and nice place to stay (no frills), this is the place for you!
We enjoyed the tranquility and Eric was a very pleasant host. The cottage is very complete everything you need. Bed was comfortable and cottage was very clean. We should have noticed the stairs to the cottage too many for our age.
Description was as described. Very tiny, tiny house. It worked fine for us and the view was worth the size. Communication was good, host was pleasant. As I told the host, my only suggestion is to remove the large counter and put in a tiny sofa. Thank you.
Very small place but perfectly sufficient and intimate for me and my gf. The lake was feet from our housing; beautiful and large to explore. Eric seemed real nice, and although there was little cellular on location, he was relatively easy to reach via wifi.
I am a fun loving country boy at heart. I have lived in Vermont my entire life. I enjoy the summers on the lake, swimming, water sking, hiking, biking, sitting by the campfire by the water, roasting marshmallows. The autumn season has the most magnificent, beautiful bouquet of colors to see, a leaf peepers dream. The fall season is a time to enjoy scenic views, listening to the cool breezes whispering through the trees, bringing in the old man winter. The season of winter coming apon the mountains, brings the smell of burning fire wood and crisp cold air, it's time to get the skis tuned, get the snow shoes down, and get the snowmachines and equipment ready for the long winter. Don't forget mud season, bringing in the spring, getting ready to ride the four wheelers, and get dirty head to toe, bringing in the summer, and to do it all once again. So if and when I'm able to get away for a bit. I love to go to the southern most point, enjoying the warmth and blue water off the Keys, I try and get out and get some ocean fishing in, catch a fish if I'm lucky. Then on my way by the cape I love to cruise the beach and hang out on the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Islands, hoping to catch a blue or a striped bass, like I did with my brother when I was young. I enjoy a good action film, the gangster movies are the best, throw a marvel movie in between for a great family night and I'm a happy man. I love my family and like to have a lot of fun. So come on up I'll be waiting for ya, come enjoy the best in Vermont, see ya when you get here.
