Makayla was a wonderful host. She was very responsive in answering all my questions quickly and efficiently. The property is a rather small condo in a very large complex. It was tricky to get to the property the first day because a GPS doesn't calculate each property individually. Once we found the correct apartment, it was smooth sailing from then on. It was so nice having a washer and dryer, and a garage. The temps were very hot in Reno in July, but the AC in the apartment worked like a charm. The kitchen is rather small for someone like myself who likes to cook, but I made the best of it. The TV came with Netflix, which is all we watched. The bedroom comes with a gigantic bed with a very hard mattress and takes up most of the room. There is no dresser to store clothes, and only one shelf in the closest. The closet is large, but we had to live out of our suitcases with no storage. I bought extra hangars since there was only a total of 4 in the closet. The hot water took a long time to get hot, but once it did, it stayed hot for the rest of the day. The apartment is on the first floor, which is nice for bringing things in and out, but it is close to a busy noisy road, and you can hear the people above when they walk on a creaky floor. The location is very good for getting around, shopping and restaurants. The traffic is better in Sparks than in Reno. Even though the apartment wasn't perfect, no where is. We had a very good time and learned alot.
