Escape to the calm beauty of Lake Bemidji-a modern, cozy cabin spacious enough for family and friends. Retreat is right on the lake, just steps from the dock.
Wake to breathtaking sunrises over the water. Spend your days kayaking, swimming, or relaxing on the patio.
Whether you are looking for a peaceful weekend getaway or a longer lakeside retreat, you'll find the perfect balance of adventure and rest here.
Bunk room has 4 sets of bunks, two full/full and two twin/twin that mirror each other. Full game room in heated attached garage provides the perfect space for entertainment, no matter the weather.
Please book for the accurate number of guests and expected bed usage. Reservations that require excessive bedding and laundry beyond what is typical for the booked guest count may incur an additional cleaning/laundry fee.

Beautiful place. We'll equipped and maintained. Couldn't have asked for a better place for our family of 12. Very confidently located to everything; boat landing next door, restaurants nearby, state park close(short boat ride across the lake to use the nice sandy beach), close enough to town to run in and grab anything that is needed/forgotten. Would highly recommend Green Gables for staying.

We couldn’t have asked for anything more! The house was even better than we expected. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything that we needed. The host was beyond gracious and communicated very well throughout the process. We just left and I am already looking at the calendar to see when we could return.

Host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We appreciated all the little details from soaps, welcome notes and gifts to the welcoming tours. We were lucky enough to see the listing come up just after its initial posting and the host was happy to give us a tour as we were in the area. This allowed us to plan for family outing we having been looking forward to for several years

What a gem!! We were so impressed with this cabin! Beautiful, so clean, on the lake, game room, so much space and had everything we could need and more. So grateful to Ellie and her quick answers to ALL my questions. Thank you for providing this amazing retreat for us, we will be back!

Let’s start with the host Ellie, she was amazing to work with and made us feel so welcome.The home had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of space to relax. The home was spotless and decorating warm and welcoming.It was close to town, and everything we needed to do.This home is the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in, we would love to come back.

Both the hosts and the house exceeded our expectations! The house was clean, well decorated, cozy, and there was plenty of space for our family. The many personal touches throughout the home were thoughtful and appreciated! Communication was great and they were prompt with their willingness to help with snow removal. We would highly recommend this house and hope to stay again in the future!

We stayed at this perfect home with our adult kids and grandkids, 13 in total. The home was immaculate, well appointed, beautifully decorated, had ample room for all our sleeping needs, and the view was amazing. A cup of coffee and a beautiful sunrise set the mood for the day. If you have kiddos this is the place to be! So much thought went into accommodating the younger family members. Games, books, puzzles, coloring station, game room, etc……so much fun! The beds were comfortable, bathrooms spacious and well equipped, and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. We even baked banana bread We biked, boated, fished, played in the lake. The dead end location is great for noise levels and the kids were safe playing & biking without worry of traffic. And communication with Ellie was amazing. She answered any and all questions quickly and gave suggestions for activities to make our trip memorable. Ellie even recommended a great photographer. She was wonderful to work with! A week we won’t soon forget.

This home is just as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures! We've outgrown our home for family holidays. Lucky for us we didnt have to travel far to find the perfect place. From the well stocked kitchen, lovely bathroom towels and soaps, down to the heated game room we had everything we could need. Walking distance to a liquor store and only minutes from Bemidji. Our group of 14 never felt crowded. We loved the extra sitting rooms where you can sneak away if looking for quiet time. Ellie was so kind and quick to respond with any questions I had. There's no need for me to even look for a different place next year because everyone voted 100% to book for 2027! Thank you, The Carlsons

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would gladly come back!The cabin was spotless when we arrived, and you could tell it has been very well cared for. The décor was beautiful, warm, and cozy—it immediately felt like home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches, including ceiling fans, extra portable fans for white noise or air movement, and plenty of extra blankets throughout the house.The kitchen was one of the best-stocked vacation rental kitchens we’ve stayed in. It had everything we needed for preparing meals for our group, and the updated bathrooms were clean, modern, and well maintained.Our teenagers absolutely loved the game room in the garage. It was the perfect hangout spot and kept them entertained for hours. It ended up being one of the highlights of the trip!The lake was beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect setting for a relaxing family vacation. It was a wonderful location that made our stay even more enjoyable.The host was fantastic—very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with from beginning to end.And finally, we have to give a little shout-out to Miss Roxie. She made a few surprise visits during our stay and completely charmed us. We couldn’t help smiling every time she stopped by. She was such a sweet little neighbor and a fun part of our Bemidji memories.Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with our family. We made wonderful memories here and would happily stay again!

Wonderful beautiful place. Lake is mucky and weedy but clear otherwise, no beach for littles.they did get lake itch bit I'm sure as littles stirred up muck. And should post sign bout steps going into lake really slippery but can't be helped as in the water,just to be careful. It was peaceful too. I'd stay again.

We've been going on a "Cabin" vacation with our kids and grandkids about 10 years now. This was the best place yet. 3 couples and. four grandkids ages 11, 9,9,7. Really nice to walk into the bedroom that had four bunk beds. No fighting over top and bottom bunk. Chose your own bunk, and they got top or bottom as they desired. Great game room in the garage. Air hockey was a hit as well as shuffleboard, ring game and foosball. As well as stocked with games and puzzles for rainy days. Beds and linens were nicest of places we've stayed. Kitchen was well stocked. Caught plenty of fish in Lake Bemidji once the wind died down enough to get the boat out. We didn't make use of the kayaks or paddleboards but they looked almost new. The Science Center in Bemidji was a hit, as well as plenty of shopping and restaurants. Has a nice stairway so you can put on a puppet show on the 2nd level and see in in the living room. Ellie was a great host. Good communication. Right next to the boat dock so you can put your boat in close. Great place for a family vacation.
