Our Family Vacation Home is the perfect launching point to the sea and sun activities in the Pensacola area and a relaxing retreat for the family to enjoy with a Large Saltwater Pool, a shady Tropical Courtyard and an Enclosed Patio. We enjoy it as our own winter retreat in the off-season.

The Master Bedroom includes a deep mattress queen bed, Large TV, walk in closet and the Master Bathroom has a 6ft shower. The Guest Bedroom has a deep mattress double bed with TV, and mirrored closets. The Twin Bedroom has two deep mattress twin beds and a Large TV. There is a Full Bathroom across from the Twin Bedroom. The spacious Family Room includes a 70" TV, with an adjacent Cherry Wood Dining Room and a fully equipped Kitchen. The Laundry Room has a full-sized washer and dryer and is stocked with laundry supplies. The driveway is extra wide with a single car garage.

The spacious Enclosed Patio overlooks the Large Saltwater Pool (generally preferred over chlorine pools) and a shady Tropical Courtyard, all surrounded by a privacy fence. The beautiful pool is a lazy "L" shape, well maintained and larger than most, since it was built in the 70's. The (unheated) pool is maintained at least once a week and is for the private use of guests during their stay. Evenings in the courtyard have a serene ambience created by the Corinthian Bell wind chimes, surrounding fence lights, fountain and pool light. Extra amenities include a grill with charcoal provided, beach and pool towels, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella.

A Neighborhood Park for children is a walk around the block. Pensacola Int'l Airport and Cordova Mall are 6 minutes away with Grocery Stores also nearby. Pensacola Beach is a 20-25 minute scenic drive along Escambia Bay. Downtown is an energetic place only 15 minutes away, where you'll find the famous Seville Square. the Saenger Theater and many shops and restaurants gathered close to the Bay. ***

Home is very cool with new AC unit and carpet throughout. Guests needing temps lower than 73 will be charged $40 for a stay longer than 4 nights.
Smoking is NOT permitted on the property at all. Onsite parties or group events are strictly prohibited. Neighbors are watchful and monitor this.

I recently stayed at this wonderful home in Pensacola, Florida, and it exceeded all my expectations. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had a warm, welcoming feel from the moment I walked in.The backyard pool was definitely the highlight! It was private, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring the area. I spent hours lounging by the pool and enjoying the Florida sunshine—it truly made the stay feel like a personal resort.The location was great—just a short drive to Pensacola Beach, with plenty of nearby restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, which added to the relaxing atmosphere.Overall, this stay was everything I hoped for and more. I’d absolutely come back and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway in Pensacola.

Pensacola Home

We enjoyed our 2 1/2 month stay at this home and hope to come back again. The back yard is especially beautiful with trees shrubs and flowers and pool. We had everything we needed in this comfortable home.

Like home with a peaceful backyard and amazing pool

We needed a break from our day to day life, and we're so thankful for Angela's hospitality. Thank you for your kindness and allowing us the opportunity to stay in your childhood home. It was hard not to take a daily nap during the day with the wind chimes singing in the wind (something we also have in memory of my own parents). Great neighborhood, quiet area and the comforts of home. We can't wait to return and listen to the bands on the beach with you, Bill and your friends. We will miss paddling around the pool each morning and evening. We can't say enough great things, and look forward to next time. ❀

Best family vacation

We drove up to property flabergasted at how clean and prestige the are and home was. The home was clean, welcoming, and more than what my family could've asked for. The pool area was where the kids spent most of their time and they enjoyed every moment. We were able to make memories and have laughs we have yet been able to do as a whole family.

Beautiful home in Ferry Pass

This family property in Pensacola was in a perfect location and offered us the outdoor pool environment we wanted for a summer vacation! My husband, me and our 2 young children enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Close to a lot of stores, not far from the beach, in a quiet neighborhood (with 2 playgrounds/parks in walking distance). Home was well-stocked with just about everything we might need, we were comfortable and the property owners were very nice! They met us upon arrival to show us around and were always responsive.

Grandkids loved it!

This property was simply perfect for what we needed. The home was clean, welcoming and very comfortable. The pool was immaculate! We had everything we needed in the kitchen and I feel the host went above and beyond what was necessary. It was like staying at the home of a family member. I love that there were family photos throughout the house. I would highly recommend this rental and will probably be returning myself.

A magical backyard oasis and beloved home

We were in town for a graduation and needed a home base away from the chaos of beach traffic. This home is in a quiet neighborhood (I went for a run around the nearby park) and close to everything we needed. The minute my kids walked in they said "this is so cozy and smells like grandmas house", in the best way. It's well loved and maintained and has all the amenities you need. But the gem, is the Florida porch and back courtyard with pool. The old oak tree radiates the peace and love that have clearly been felt through the years. This is a hidden gem for those looking to soothe the soul with nostalgia, nature, and a slower pace.

A piece of paradise

We came to Pensacola for an adoption, and this was the perfect place to come too. So convenient to both the airport and the hospital. But more than that, they made us feel so welcome and at home. The backyard is beautiful and we had many relaxing meals out in the screened porch. Thank you so much for opening your home to us! We would 100% stay again!!

House will not cool, and we feel owners were not truthfull.

Two of us slept in the house while caring for 2 visiting grandbabies daily. The kids had owners’ approval to use the pool. I’d post all of the texts to illustrate problems with the stay, but VRBO forbids it. The house isn’t as advertised, and we had to file a police report while there. The owners informed us they retain digital/online copies of all tenants’ drivers’ licenses (DLs) for background checks. We had a fraudulent debit card charge the day after sending them our DL. We therefore formally request in this complaint that the owners destroy all copies (Paper/Digital) of personal information, and assure no records are held by anyone they have forwarded info to. The owners had a Wi-Fi thermostat & knew the HVAC wasn't working before our arrival but didn't contact us. After 4 days of high temps and an intense exchange with the owner; we vacated the property (from days 5-7) while a complete inside & outside HVAC system was replaced. Our refund request for remaining days was refused so we returned on day 8 (prior to work completion); when some prescription drugs disappeared: hence a police report. The house smelled of plug-in-air-fresheners & mold. None of the kitchen appliances functioned properly. Paint was peeling throughout. Wi-Fi and TV reception failed daily. You’re under Constant surveillance (cameras & listening). Daily network failures drove frantic requests to check out the premises. We feel owners were never completely truthful. Owners also don't live here.

Nice stay- but unusual

This property is very clean and nice. It is exactly as explained. The pictures are accurate. It’s well stocked with nice towels and kitchen supplies. The family who owns this home clearly have fond memories here. It has not been updated- which was fine with us- but know it is a grandparents home. I attempted to type more, but there are limited characters in the review- so I guess the most unusual: The owner, very nice, but will want to meet you- as in -made plans to meet us the day after our arrival to explain house rules and meet our family. She made it clear she only rents to families now after bad experiences- stating she does not rent to “construction workers” or “a couple of 30 year old girls” concerned about people having parties. She also explained how to use the leaf blower so we could blow off the patio each morning to keep the pool clean. It did not really upset me-but unusual to be asked to do yard work? Especially when they have a guy come and clean the pool and a robo cleaner. A meeting to confirm we could read and understand the house rules- in all of the renting we have done- this was a first. She even mentioned having looked at a guest’s trash to confirm it was “party trash” with cups etc. Not bad- just unusual. It’s bugged my husband more than me. (We have never had less then 5 star review as guests) Again- a review should be helpful and honest. It was a sweet place/not a bad stay- just different

Repeat rental, great place to stay away from the beach with a great pool. Rain almost every day so didn’t get to much pool and beach time this year but nobody can predict the weather.

Nice spot for a break!

We had a great stay. The house is nice and comfortable. I loved the florida room. We were just close enough to lots of things to do and good food to eat. Angela was helpful but gave us privacy. We hope to be back!

Great family home, quiet neighborhood

Check in was very easy. House well stocked for a rental. The kids loved the pool. The drive to the beaches is not bad. Peg Leg Pete's have great food and yummy drinks. It was a great time. Looking forward to staying again in the future 😀
