The Great Escape Lakeside is a private 10-acre lakefront estate in Clermont, Florida — just 35 minutes from Disney World. But here's what every guest tells us: they never needed to leave the property. Everything you'd normally drive to a theme park or resort for is right here, included with your stay, at no extra charge.

IMPORTANT LAKE UPDATE (As of July 15, 2026)

Due to the most severe drought Central Florida has experienced in over 75 years, the lake is currently at an unusually low water level and is temporarily unavailable for recreational use. While we cannot predict exactly when water levels will return to normal, we are optimistic conditions will improve with upcoming rainfall. All other amenities at the estate remain fully operational and unaffected.

THE BEDROOMS

Thirteen uniquely themed bedrooms sleep up to 45 guests across king beds, queens, twins, and bunk rooms. Every room is designed around a classic game — Monopoly, Scrabble, Clue, Pac-Man, Dungeons & Dragons, and more — with immersive decor that makes each one its own experience.

King suites: Vegas Casino Games Suite (with real slot machines and a blackjack table), Carnival Games Waterfront Suite (lake views), Laser Games Bedroom, and Mind Games Bedroom.

Queen rooms: Scrabble Room, Classic Video Games/Pac-Man Room, and two CLUE-themed rooms that double as the escape room.

Twin rooms: Monopoly, War Games, and Dungeons & Dragons.

Bunk rooms: The Operation Room (6 bunks) and The Pictionary Room (6 bunks) — perfect for kids.

Additional sleeping: 8 extra twins and a futon for the night owls who never make it to a bedroom.

Whether your group is 15 friends or 45 family members, the layout works. Couples get king suites. Kids claim the bunk rooms. Everyone finds their spot.

THE POOL & LAKE

The centerpiece is a 40,000-gallon resort-style pool with a multi-speed lazy river, hot tub, and two waterslides — a kiddy slide for the little ones and a giant speed slide that even the adults can't resist. A complete outdoor kitchen with grill, sink, fridge, and TV sits right alongside the pool so you can cook, eat, and never miss a moment.

Beyond the pool, 10 private acres stretch down to Lake Walsh with a dock, kayaks, a canoe, and a five-person pedal boat. Life vests, fishing poles, and oars are all provided. The lake is warm enough to enjoy roughly 10 months of the year, and sunsets from the dock are worth the trip alone.

TV Game Show Studio — play Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and more with real buzzers while your audience watches.
