Venez profiter du lac Norris dans cette grande maison au bord de l’eau avec 4 chambres et 4 salles de bains (3644 pieds carrés), dotée d’une grande terrasse pour profiter de la vue époustouflante sur le lac Norris tout en prenant un verre au bar tiki. Le pont extérieur dispose également d'un barbecue à gaz pour préparer un repas après une longue journée de jeu sur le lac! La location donne accès à un quai sur les eaux «vert émeraude» du lac Norris. Le quai est situé sur une crique tranquille où vous rangez votre bateau entre ces manèges pendant votre séjour, allez nager, prendre un peu de soleil ou pêcher dans le lac.

La maison fournit une cuisine entièrement équipée et mise à jour récemment pour préparer vos repas que vous apportez. Il y a beaucoup de place pour regarder le câble sur l'un des trois niveaux de vie sur l'un des 5 téléviseurs dans toute la maison. Le rez-de-chaussée dispose d'une grande salle de jeux où vous pourrez profiter du temps avec la famille en jouant aux cartes ou en jouant à un jeu vidéo. Il y a deux suites de maître avec lits king size et salle de bains privative et une laverie. La troisième chambre a un lit queen-size escamotable et une banquette-lit double avec lit gigogne et double comme une salle familiale pendant la journée. La quatrième chambre offre deux lits superposés avec des lits superposés pour accueillir les enfants. Cela permet à 14 personnes de dormir confortablement à la maison.

Fun!

Lots of room for hanging out, both inside and outside the house. We loved that there were 2 refrigerators in the kitchen, really helpful for feeding a big group for a week. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

Beautiful scenery in a quiet cove! The home has some very cool historical pieces in the game room, plenty of room for our group of 11. The dock was perfect for swimming and the cove was great for kayaking.

Great Location

Great location on the lake. Easy access to the boat slip. Ample space for our group of 9. The 2 refrigerators in the kitchen were a plus. Spent a lot of time in the large deck overlooking the water.

Lots of sleeping places and lots of space to gather. Had a few issues but the owner was very responsive. Very steep drive way, lots of steps to lake.

Family vacation

We had a great time on vacation. We had our kids and grandkids with us there was plenty of room for everyone. The cove didn’t have any boat traffic so was good for swimming off the dock. Thank you for letting us stay at the house.

Thank you for a fabulous stay at your beautiful home! House was remarkable, and the lake views were so very relaxing. Our family enjoyed days in the water swimming, kayaking, fishing, and evenings playing games. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Nice property

Good property, owner fixed some issues while we were there in a timely manner. Kitchen equipped with everything you would need to cook with. Two recommendations: 1) Two trash cans are not enough for a house that can have up to 12 people for a week. (I live with 4 kids and have 2 full cans for a week). 2) Open up the covered boat dock for people to acutally use instead of having a boat docked there (this was fully disclosed in write up).

So relaxing - Loads of Stairs

The house is beautiful, plenty of room for 6. The dock and lake were great! Just know there are many many many stairs. But we all did just fine. Very near stores/restaurants - but we hung out in the water every day and just enjoyed relaxing. Thank you for letting us use your home. We loved it!

Norris Lake

Easy drive to home. The sky opened and a downpour followed. Surprised to find the water coming in from the front window and running out of the ceiling in the lower level in front of the bar. Had to keep our large cooler there and a towel in front of the window draining into a towel to absorb the water. Called the owner. He was aware and planned to get it fixed after the season. The last sections of steps (97) had a rope as a hand rail rather than a solid hand rail. This was hard for our older adults. Likewise,the upstairs king size bed was so high off the floor, my husband was unable to get in and out of it. We did use the bed on the lower level, but the couple that slept in the upper level bed had problems getting in and out. Maybe a small step stool would help. The Murphy bed did not have a top sheet when we made it up. Overall , the kitchen was well stocked although a better can opener would be nice. The two refrigerators were great. Enjoyed the deck with tiki bar as well as the fire pit. We had a great time on our vacation. We did come early August which is towards the end of the summer season. I feel that some of our problems may have been results of the home being used all season. I did contact the owner before our trip both by phone and e-mail and he was very gracious and helpful answering all my questions.

Soo many stairs

As with most places in the area, the home has quite a climb from water to home. It was intense at first but toward the end of the week it you just got accustomed to the extreme workout. The inside of the home also has quite a bit of stairs. If anyone in your party has mobility issues, this isn't the place. Positives: the home is beautiful! The game room area was fun to use. The surroundings were breathtaking. However if you want privacy, it might be hit or miss. At the end of our stay, a rowdy group arrived next door which got a little loud. Only one suggestion, please provide better fitting sheets. They were so ill fitting we ended up sleeping on mattress pad by morning. We fought with it the whole week. The sheets situation was the only reason it got a 4 out of 5 stars.

Great Trip!

The house fit the 8 of us well, bunk room was great for kids. Downstairs game area was a hit also. There are a lot of steps to the dock but we are used to that on Norris. Great trip overall and Larry was easy to work with and get ahold of on the couple minor issues we ran across.

Loved it

Our stay was a week with three families. 3 children (4-10) and 6 adults. The house was beautiful! there was plenty of space for everyone ! Location was perfect . Great communication with Larry and Stephanie! We plan on booking this home again for our yearly Norris trip!

Great place for a large family!

Our large family had a great time at this property on the lake. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Plenty of space for all of us. The location was good as it was near the grocery store, gas station and a couple of marinas. Be sure to check out Bubba Brews while you are there. The one small problem we had was there were not enough sheets and towels upon arrival for our large family, but that was quickly remedied within a couple of hours with a quick call to Larry and Stephanie. Larry and Stephanie were great to work with. A couple of questions I had before we went to the property were answered quickly and we were very pleased with that. The only thing I would say about the property that someone would need to be aware of would be that it sits pretty high up above the lake and requires quite a few steep steps to get to and from the dock. This would not be a problem for most people, but if elderly people were visiting, it might pose an issue. However, there are a few places along the steps where someone would be able to rest if needed. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property to anyone with a large family looking for a great vacation on the lake! Thanks again Larry and Stephanie for allowing us to visit your home!

Quiet spot on Lake Norris

House and dock was fantastic for 2 families with kids, plenty of room to spread out and a great game room. A couple things to note: there is only 1 washer and 1 dryer until available in the downstairs bathroom, not 2. Also, the 4th bedroom is not a room, my son was ok sleeping there but it is just a Murphy bed in the middle of downstairs, there is no privacy or way to close this off from the other bedrooms. I'd also recommend bringing a fan, there are no ceiling fans and the bedrooms get incredibly hot during the day with the motion sense thermostats.

Family vacation

This property was overall a pleasant experience. The location was great especially near Bubba Brews and other marinas. The house had ample space for our family of 8 and plenty of games for the younger ones. The few challenges of our vacation would be not knowing the steepness of the driveway as we had our truck and boat connected on the way up, and a few parts of the house that were not kept up as far as cleanliness goes- cabinets with pans and Cobb webs here and there. One last thing is the outside light on the back deck did not work so it made it hard to see at night. Overall good experience, we would stay again. The umbrella on the outside deck was broke .

Lake house

The place where the house is located is nice, 4 cars can park next to the house. This house has 3 bedrooms, not 4. The bathroom on the 1st floor was the only bathroom where you could lock the door, but the tub in that bathroom was clogged. There was no toilet paper in either bathroom. There were only 5 garbage bags. The bathtub on the 2nd floor was huge but we couldn't use it because the water was leaking from the ceiling in the kitchen when we filled the bathtub. Games room is nice kids had a nice time deck is nice too with a nice view of the lake We were not satisfied with the stay as the description didn't match the the condition of the house and all the flaws. Wouldn't recommend staying here especially not for that price.

Good family setting.

The house was very nice and the location was great. The views and lake were spectacular. The interior was very spacious and the rooms were all big enough to hold 2 adults and kids in each room. Would have been 5 stars but for a couple things. The paddle boat was left in the lake by the previous tenant so it was full of dirty rain water and we couldn't use it. It was a little dirty in some rooms, like the crew was in a hurry and the shower in the bunk room had a super slow drain. A bit of TLC and updates would make this an easy 5 star. Would stay again if we had the option.

The property is on one of the most beautiful and cleanest Lakes in the Midwest. You will enjoy the convenience of docking your boat right at your vacation destination. The homes location is a straight shot from I75 on 25 East or 33 North and is an easy drive.

The Game Room is what stands out in this home. The Game Room has a unique bar that adds a character that is hard to find. The remolded kitchen has an open floor plan to the main living room and overlooks the waters of Norris.
