Make a break for the beach and discover your happy place at this adorable cottage found just steps from the sand and the surf! This coastal getaway offers a prime location close to the beach and the easiest beach access ever. This beach is absolutely beautiful, not crowded, and meticulously maintained by property owners.

The interior of this charming vacation rental is sure to put a smile on your face as you discover its many features including a well-equipped, full kitchen and a comfortable living area with a bumped ceiling, sofa, and TV. Outside, relax on the balcony or head up to the rooftop deck with ocean and sound views. The views of the Hatteras sky, sunsets, and ocean from our rooftop deck are not to be missed. Additionally, the cabana is a clean, comfortable, relaxing, and the perfect escape! We have all the amenities needed for a simply perfect vacation at the beach. If you're planning a fun-filled vacation at the beach for just the two of you, this single-level studio is a terrific, perfectly-located option!

THINGS TO KNOW
Please note that while the complex is oceanfront; the cottage itself is a few cabanas back from the beach access. There are ocean views from the rooftop deck.
No open fires or open flame grills are permitted on decks or under the property. Only grilling is allowed in shared property grills located in the center of the property.

Very peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay here. The kitchen was small of course but very clean and all needed cooking supplies were provided. The bed is extremely comfortable.

Perfect little place, it is small as described. I would not recommend bringing your full weeks worth of groceries. Easy walk to the beach, very clean, great beach experience.

Adorable cabana

This was the cutest little cabana. Very comfy bed, nice seating area with a pull out couch. Loved having a fully stocked kitchen. The place was really clean, quiet and comfortable. Rooftop deck was great with a view of the ocean. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time the cabana. Loved the proximity to the beach! The place is nicely decorated, every detail shows how much she lowes Hatteras island. It was clean and very comfortable for our family. Having meals on the rooftop was the best location. We hope to come back again and stay at the same place soon!

Perfect for a couple, access to beach was fabulous! The view was limited but could see a small part of the ocean from the top level. Nice private beach and very impressive all the things done to this cabana to utilize the space.

Perfect Vacation

This cabana was the perfect getaway for our young family. Hatteras has more of a small town feel which was very nice. Larger towns with more touristy stores and lots of activities are to the north along route 12. The short walk from the cabana to the beach and beautiful views made it magical. The Pamlico sound on the other side of the island was calm and great for the little ones to splash and swim.

Good not great this time.

Fridge did not work when we arrived Sunday evening. It was fixed but not until Wednesday. We left a day early due to hurricane Ian. Kitchen had ants. We were super close to the beach. It’s a great location!

Coffee

Would have been nice to be told to bring coffee filters. When you get to the house and there are none and you have to run out again just a little annoying. No biggie but would have packed them if I would have know. Overall great place to stay

Fabulous!

Everything it promised to be. A small, lovely decorated cabana very close to the beach (125 steps to the sand for me). The place was incredibly well stocked! Of course it had the basics, but it was a fully supplied kitchen, not a lightly stocked kitchen, with muffin tin, pizza cutter, full pan/pot set (nice teal color, too), cutting boards, all the stirring/serving tools, etc. Heater/AC worked very well. One pillow was firm, the other more fluffy. I feel like they thought of everything. Oh, and the fantastic minimalist thinking that made the small space so very functional. Highly recommend this cabana for anyone heading to Hatteras!

Too Small No Room for Anything, but Good Location

It was a short walk to the beach and the room was clean. It was soooo cramped and nowhere to put your luggage. The closet was tiny and had the vacuum and sweeper in it. All kitchen cabinets were filled with enough dishes, etc to feed a small army. But, not one left open to put non perishable foodstuffs. It was nice to try and have everything that someone would need, but please open up one cabinet. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. Lucky we brought our own pillows. The unit is a good location to access the fine restaurants in the area and also the Ocracoke ferry.

Cute and cozy place to stay BUT bring your cleaning supplies

This place was so cozy and cute, we loved the location. It was perfect for 2 people. The couch definitely needs replacing due to stains and just looking nasty. Whoever cleans needs to do a better job. We walked in to check out the place before bringing our luggage up and the floor was covered in sand… I get it you’re at the beach so some sand is perfectly ok but the amount I swept up was honestly disgusting. Also, the countertops had not been wiped off. You pay a cleaning fee, so I feel you should come into a clean place, so it was disappointing that it wasn’t. All in all- I feel like it’s a great place to stay if the cleaning was better and the couch was replaced.

Disappointed

We knew the room was small but then the cleaning supplies were stuffed in the only closet in the room. The furnace filter was so filthy it caused my asthma to rev up…they did change the filter but when it was a foot away from the dirtiest fan I’ve ever seen, it wasn’t cleaned. The Freon has a leak and the smell from the refrigerator was overwhelming, plus did not keep food even cool!!!

Very disappointed. Do not recommend.

Great location. Very easy walk to beach. Bad: Microwave was filthy. I cleaned it. Microwave on top of fridge made it difficult to access. Wheels on table rusted and wouldn't move. Dirty coffee cups in cabinet. Blanket on bed grungy; we didn't want to touch it. Picnic table on deck unstable. Deck in poor condition. Ceiling fan covered in dust. Vacuum "bag" and filters filthy. Couch was stained. The screen on the door was torn. We immediately reported it to Vacasa who put in a ticked and local maintenance would come look at it. They never did in the week that we were there. Mat at base of stairs falling apart. We've rented a different cabana here that was MUCH nicer and kept up. I would not recommend this cabana to anyone.
