For the amount of money that is charged the condo needs to be updated. When we got there I had to plunge the downstairs bathroom sink and pulled up mounds of sand. Both the upstairs and downstairs bath tub faucets leaked like crazy. The plunger for the downstairs tub was stuck I had to take it apart to fix it. The sheets on one of the twin beds were dirty, when I talked to the property manager they just said they were sorry and didn't offer to fix it.
The house was wonderful and relaxing. There was no umbrella on the patio and vary little to no torlett paper left by the cleaning crew ,but vary clean when we arrived. Great views of the water and sun sets. Besides the little things, definitely would stay again.
We enjoyed having 3 bathrooms and the location was easy to access the beach. The kitchen had all of the cooking tools we needed and having laundry machine was handy, except that the rubber seal on the washing machine was covered in mildew. Despite that, we loved our stay and the view of the estuary.
Property was renovated and comfortable. Great access to beach and to community pool and resturants. During our stay either the Internet was out or the TV and by the 2nd to last day issue was resolved. That being a negative, the property management company was very attentive to this need and worked hard to resolve issue. Would rent again.
Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay in Villa. It was clean and is tastefully decorated in a beach and nautical them. Kitchen was well stocked with all necessary tools and the separate bar area is a nice addition. Beach access is very convenient with gorgeous view of the river. Nice outside area with tables and chairs. Yes, the villa has some age, but we all do with time. We would highly recommend.
This is our second year staying at this property and everything was great! We had a couple of minor issues last year which they did address and were fixed when we returned this year. The management team is very responsive. The kitchen is well stocked and plenty of bath towels. The mattresses arenât the most comfortable but theyâre ok for a vacation. Everything else is great! Location is great and the area is very nice. We plan on going back again!
This Beach Club Villa worked well for our family of six. Having three bedrooms with a bathroom/shower in each room was perfect. The unit was clean, with sufficient towels. The only item not on hand, but would have been nice, is Kleenex. Not a big issue. Being right on the beach is a plus. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
We had such a great stay. The location is perfect with easy access to the beach. We enjoyed the beautiful views and dolphin watching. The condo has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped. We were able to cook meals without any difficulty. The only issue was one of the bedroom doors had a hinge that was not connected. We called the property management to report but no one ever came out. Other than that, we had a great experience. We will definitely be back.
Seabrook Island was wonderful as always. The villa had a great view and was decorated really cute. It was just a short walk from the beach. However, the furniture really needed some updating. The couch was worn and badly stained and all of the mattresses were horrible. Also, for a villa that isn't pet friendly, I emptied an entire canister of dog hair from the vaccuum before I could use it. Otherwise, we had a really wonderful vacation and nothing can beat watching the sunset from the deck.
This was a great place for our annual beach trip! Itâs very open and bright and a Lo t of space for little ones to play and run around. Some nice updates have been done to the bathrooms and kitchen. The property managers were very responsive to a couple small issues we had. My only complaint is that some of the outlets donât work. Unfortunately this includes the ones by the vanities so made it a little difficult getting ready. Also would be nice if the downstairs bedrooms had ceiling fans. But, It had great proximity to the beach and access to the Clubhouse. We are overall very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here again!
WiFi was not available as advertised nor was there a response when I attempted to contact the owner/manager through VRBO or Vacasa. Was very worrisome as there was a tropical storm warning and we were trying to get up-to-date information.
From the description on the website to the property itself, this place needs work.
The property does not overlook the Atlantic Ocean. It faces the Edisto River. The southern end. During high tide, you cannot walk to the ocean along the river's beach. The view is beautiful from the windows in the living area, but it is of the river. We only booked the place because the description notes it faces the ocean.
The open living room and fireplace are gorgeous. I walked over to run my hands over the facade of the fireplace wondering if it was ceramic or wood. The side of the mantel had cobwebs on it, and the top had dust and dead bugs. This property is rated high for its cleanliness. If so, I shudder to think what those on VRBO look like that are not.
I found ants around the sink in the master bathroom. No food was taken to the master bedroom. I could only surmise they liked the smell of toothpaste and came to investigate.
The mattresses need to be replaced. A guest from February 2021 noted this issue. Since I found the problems with the dust, I wondered just how clean the bedspreads were. Another guest from April 2020 noted that the inside of the dishwasher was dirty. That not all of the settings worked and didn't clean the dishes. The inside of the dishwasher door and bottom rack looked like it was covered in mold.
The outdoor furniture was covered in bird poop. I cannot say that this issue happened after the property was cleaned, but with the other problems, I doubt that was the case.
I enjoyed the quiet setting. Walking to the river, the sunsets, and the large accommodation. The couch in the living room was the only newer piece of furniture in the house. Very comfortable. The chairs were not. I appreciated the chairs had ottomans to rest my feet on after a long walk along the river bank.
The placement of the bed in the master bedroom is flawed. It is opposite the wall that has a row of windows across the top. The wall is on the east side of the house. Those windows are not tinted nor do they have automatic closing shades to close off the light at night. In the middle of the night, the moon shone right in my face waking me up. I do not get up at dawn every day, and I would never do so on vacation, but again, the light shone on my face waking me early every morning. Put the bed along the short wall of the stairs.
We will not book again, due to the incorrect information in the listing and the other issues we encountered.
