Lake Wanahoo Cabine de luxe!

Cette cabane de luxe est située sur Spencer Hill, une zone boisée isolée idéalement située à seulement 30 minutes d'Omaha ou de Lincoln et à quelques pas du lac Wanahoo. Cette splendide retraite est idéale pour les couples, les familles, les réunions d’affaires ou les réunions sociales ou pour tous ceux qui souhaitent fuir le rythme effréné de la vie.
En raison des restrictions de stationnement et de salle de bain, nous limitons les événements à 30 personnes ou moins. Parce que nous désirons offrir de la solitude aux autres, nous ne réservons plus de mariages.

La cabine dispose d'un plan d'étage ouvert de 2400 pieds carrés décoré avec des meubles modernes / rustiques, des plafonds cathédrale en pin noueux, des planchers de bois de grange antique récupéré et des comptoirs en granit. Les 3 chambres / 3 salles de bains sont nommés avec des draps de luxe. La propriété de 4 + acres est à 600 pieds du lac Wanahoo qui offre le vélo, la randonnée, le kayak, la pêche et est un paradis pour les ornithologues!

La cabine est située sur 4. 5 acres magnifiquement paysagé avec une intimité totale. De nombreuses grandes fenêtres offrent une vue imprenable sur le lac Wanahoo. Le seul bruit est celui de Mère Nature et un coq chantant de temps en temps. Un tipi est situé sur la propriété et est un endroit idéal pour raconter des histoires aux petits dans le noir!

Les clients auront un accès complet à la cabine qui comprend 3 niveaux:

L'étage principal a une cuisine entièrement équipée, une grande salle avec salle à manger pour 10-20 et une vue imprenable sur le lac, une cheminée à gaz, une chambre des maîtres avec un lit de bois queen size. Le pont est accessible depuis la grande chambre et la chambre principale et est équipé d'un barbecue à gaz en acier inoxydable Weber et a une capacité de 6-10 repas.

Le loft confortable dispose de plafonds en pin noueux et est meublé avec un lit king size. Le loft a une salle de bain complète, 2 couchettes intégrées (1 est de taille enfant), une petite terrasse pour profiter de votre café du matin et une petite planque pour les enfants.

Le niveau inférieur a plus de grandes fenêtres avec vue sur le lac, une chambre avec 2 ensembles de lits superposés (haut sont pour 80 livres ou moins) une salle de bain complète et une télévision à écran plat avec lecteur DVD et DIRECTV. Il y a aussi un grand canapé-lit pour les invités supplémentaires. Le débrayage est à un patio équipé d'un barbecue au charbon Weber et a une capacité de salle à manger pour 6. Il y a un foyer près du patio avec du bois de chauffage et des brochettes pour rôtir des guimauves.

La musique est disponible via un adaptateur SONOS et peut être entendue dans toute la cabine et à l'extérieur via des haut-parleurs intégrés.

La paisible ville de Wahoo est située à 1 mile au sud et offre de nombreuses commodités allant de la restauration rapide aux restaurants, banques, une boulangerie et deux épiceries. La ville possède également un parcours de golf de 18 trous, un grand parc et une piscine et est le site de la Foire du comté de Saunders. Le zoo Henry Doorly d'Omaha, le College World Series et la réunion annuelle Berkshire Hathaway sont à une heure de route. L'aéroport municipal de Wahoo est également situé à seulement 1 mile à l'est.

Relaxing stay in lovely cabin

Quick Family Getaway

The property was very well maintained and Linda was very available and prepared! There was plenty of outdoor green space for our kids to run around and the playground by the lake was perfect. Quick trips to the bakery and meat locker also were wonderful. We would recommend staying here without question!

Great spot for a relaxing weekend

We loved this lakeside cabin! The home is beautiful and very well maintained. The grounds are spacious and quiet. Lots of room for the kids to run and a nice fire pit for evenings by the fire making s'mores. This place is very relaxing and comfortable. If you like to fish, you have access to a great fishing lake in Lake Wanahoo.

Linda’s home is beautiful, clean, and she adds a lot of details to ensure you have a comfortable stay. She went out of her way to look up things for us! We enjoyed our stay and our kids had so much fun! We rented kayaks through Leaha at Hammer Outfitters (402) 719-9162. Great way to enjoy the lake!

Relaxing evenings from 2 action packed days of Berkshire

Great place with everything in place. All you have to do is show up. We utilized everything at the cabin and enjoyed. We did not spend anytime on the lake as we were there for business.

Wonderful Relaxing Weekend

My family and I loved this home for our vacation. It was beautiful, wonderfully cleaned, and very relaxing. I am always nervous about places I stay concerning the cleanliness and I had no issues at all - which was comforting! We loved all the amenities the home had to offer and we plan to come back again sometime soon for a Husker Football weekend perhaps! I would recommend this place to anyone who asks!!

This is a fabulous place on a lake. Fantastic house that looks exactly like the pictures and was tastefully decorated. Plenty of room and beds for everyone. This would be a great place to stay in the summer, as the outdoor living and activities would be wonderful. Owners were very organized and communicative. We will stay there again! Scott

Family Homecoming

Perfect location to celebrate our mothers 82nd birthday! The cabin is perfectly appointed and immaculate! We were able to enjoy home cooked meals around a beautiful family size table. The lake view and accessibility it perfect. You can even walk into town! Loved that there were three floors. Perfect for hanging out together or getting a moment alone. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Our experience at Naw-Tee Pine Cabin at Spencer Hill was amazing. We appreciated the communication with the hosts, the cleanliness, the decor, the proximity to the lake, and all of the amenities. Rick and Linda thought of every detail, from fully supplied kitchen to outdoor games. It was an excellent setting to entertain family and some friends. The outdoor space was great for children. We highly recommend Spencer Hill cabins.

Wonderful 4th of July stay

I would highly recommend this property. Our family rented the house to celebrate my husband’s grandfather’s 90th birthday and we were able to safely have him over with some other family members without issue. The pictures do not do the home justice and everything is VERY well organized and thought through. I have stayed in many homes with my family and none have provided this much comfort, down to wood for the fire pit and skewers for s’mores! There was plenty of room for lawn games and the bedding was all extremely comfortable! Communication was excellent and prompt as well.

Amazing experience!

The property is great. We had a small family meeting here, some are from Wisconsin and others are in Denver so perfect middle point. The house is beautiful, spacious, and clean. Rick and Linda we extremely easy to work with an answered any questions we had before we arrived. The deck is great for morning coffee, the yard is perfect for daytime activities (playing cornhole, spikeball, and we set up a volleyball net), the lake is great for fishing, kayaking, or just a place to go for a quiet walk. The town of Wahoo is super close and has anything you might need. I highly recommend this for someone looking for a nice quiet getaway.

Wonderful stay for family get-together

The Spencer Hill Cabin is a beautiful place to stay. It has many details which add to the experience (soaps, paper towels, Bluetooth radio, kitchen supplies) and the owners do a great job keeping up the property! The gas grill was out of propane, but there was also a charcoal grill with supplies on the downstairs patio. The fireplace upstairs and TV downstairs really made it a great family environment. There were so many tables and chairs, that activities and meals were easy. There was some road construction, but the town is very close by, with a grocery store and Pizza Hut, etc. We didn't attempt the lake, but it is within walking distance on a trail from the cabin. Overall, we are very serious about staying there again! Thank you to the owner's for such a nice place!

Great spot for family time!

My husband and I stayed here with our three children, ages 8, 6 and 3. We had a fantastic time enjoying the cabin, Lake Wanahoo and the town of Wahoo! The cabin is luxuriously appointed and amazingly comfortable. We spent one morning riding our bikes around the lake and enjoying the quiet, beautiful scenery. The town of Wahoo is incredibly family-friendly. We had a blast at the Wahoo Aquatic Center, which features a zero-depth entry and playset for small children and two diving boards, a waterslide and a fun 'leappad' feature for older kids. Our kids had so much fun in the afternoon, we came back that night for more. We happened upon a bike safety event that was being held at the park, and we walked away with free bike helmets, food, and drink! Thanks for a great stay! We will definitely be back!

Thankful

Where do I start? Everything is beautiful. The location is so serene and completely relaxing. The owners are awesome people, they have not left anything out at this cabin. It truly feels like someone is opening their home to you for a week. Perfectly stocked kitchen, stuffed animals and books for the kids (hidden playroom was my kids' favorite), snuggly blankets, plenty of first aid supplies (a had a run in with some mosquitos), kayaks, very clean. I really had a hard time leaving. Wahoo is also a great town. Check out the locker and the bakery. We will be back! If you want to have a get away to reconnect as a couple or family, this is the place to do it.

Beautiful house, close to the lake, great yard for kids and adults to play games.

My family enjoyed a weekend at Spencer Hill to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The house is beautiful. A rustic retreat decorated in woodsy and outdoor colors. Nice big grassy area for outdoor games. Easy access to the lake, as we brought our kayaks. We enjoyed the large deck with umbrella and lots of seating, enjoyed s’mores from the fire pit, and played cards and indoor games on the large tables with 8 chairs on the main floor. The kids loved the cubby holes for sleeping and thought the woodland toy stuffed animals were perfect, especially the squirrel. Beds were very comfy. The landscaping was the ideal backdrop when we used the concrete bench to sit on with our family around for family pictures. I would recommend Spencer Hill.

Extraordinary Girl's Weekend!

We had such an amazing weekend at Spencer Hill! 11 of us stayed here while attending a Beth Moore conference in Omaha at Baxter Arena. We utilized every inch of the home enjoying the deck and main living room the most. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the house was well stocked. Took two LONG walks around the lake and enjoyed the property so much. Every one of us felt relaxed and refreshed by the end of the weekend---it was just everything we hoped for. In fact, we all agreed that we could've just stayed at the house the entire three days and been perfectly content. Linda was incredibly accommodating and communicated everything in a thorough and timely manner. We rent many homes from VRBO---this is how it should be done!

Spencer Hill is a Home away from Home

We rented Spencer Hill for a family vacation and was so surprised and happy how wonderfull this property turned out to be. As everyday that went by with our vacaton I would find more and more things that we just loved about this house. This rental has everything that you need for a peacefull and relaxing vacation. The owners have paid closed attention to all the little details. I truely felt like a guest visiting in a home with all the little welcoming touches. I have to mention also how well groomed the land is. Lake Wanahoo was great to fish at and I had no idea that Nebraska had such a nice lake.The property is so big and well set up. Our kids even saw a Bold Eagle. You do not have to worry if the weather is bad because the owners have made sure that there is pleanty of entertainment obtions within the house. My family did not want to leave. They wanted to know when we could come back. This is from now on our new family vacation place.

Perfect in every way!

This is a beautiful property that my whole family felt was perfect! We had seniors and couples and kids, yet there seemed to be something for everyone! We reserved the house to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary and easily housed 9 family members. The house and property are beautiful and well-appointed with everything that you desire - beautiful furniture, lovely bed linens and towels, and a kitchen that contains everything you can imagine needing. The owners have thought of all of the extras you would want in your own house - we really appreciated the coffee (which we forgot!), the games and balls and bases for the kids, the sound system, and the kayaks. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and greatly enjoyed kayaking on the lake. Linda let us know that it was fun to kayak amongst the trees in the middle of the lake, which we did, and we saw herons and turtles and otters - a really great interaction with nature. There is no swimming in the lake, but there is plenty else to do. We also explored the little town of Wahoo, which has a beautiful soldier memorial, and Omaha, which is only a short and fast trip away. There was great communication by the owners, and we felt very welcomed. We really enjoyed this property, and can't think of a thing we would change. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, and hope to be able to stay here again with my family! Many thanks to Linda and Rick for being willing to share their house.

A hidden gem!

This beautiful vacation home was a perfect choice for our family get-away! Located a short drive from the cities of Omaha and Lincoln, it was wonderful to drive from a busy city into the beauty and quiet of rural Nebraska. A short 20-30 minute drive took us past corn and soybean fields to this "home away from home". One day our family visited Lincoln and toured the UNL Cornhusker football stadium and UNL's Lester F. Larsen Tractor Test and Power Museum. The next day we went to Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo. We discovered there are so many things to do in both Lincoln and Omaha, I'm sure we'll be back! Each evening we returned to prepare a meal and eat together, either on the deck outside or around the large dining room table. The owners have furnished the kitchen with everything a family needs to prepare and serve a meal. There is a huge gas grill that can accommodate cooking for a large crowd. We loved having a bon fire in the evening and making S'mores! Each room of the home is decorated beautifully. The beds/bedding are ultra comfortable! Our grandchildren, ages 2 and 4 loved the sleeping nooks built into the Master bedroom. There's even a surprise play area tucked away for the small children! It's evident the owners have grandchildren as the whole home and property is very family-friendly. I appreciate how easy it was to communicate with Linda. I also appreciated finding a property that did not require a week-long reservation, as we only could find a few days to get away that worked for everyone in the family. The weather was stormy when we left our home in SD en route to Lake Wanahoo. Linda and her husband checked weather radar for us and advised what route to take. I'd say that is personalized service! This vacation property would also work if you have a larger group of friends or family and some would like to stay in their RV. Some of the group could stay in the vacation home, and the 'Campers' could reserve a site at the State Park, (which is a very short walk from the home). Our experience with this vacation home was outstanding. I am sure we will return!
