A Place at The Beach V ( A- #105) is cozy coastal nostalgia. Covered breezeways make easy entry to this first floor end-unit. The nicely kept condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a sleeper sofa. The main bedroom is oceanside with access to the outdoor deck and window views overlooking the pool area. The main bathroom is a nicely remodeled private bath with beautiful walk-in shower. The other bedroom is twins with access to use the shared hall tub/shower combination.

The family room is open concept with a wall of sunny windows and a large corner desk and chair if you need to get work done during your stay. Beautiful new kitchen cabinetry, appliances and sleek granite and tile backsplash will make cooking a pleasure even though you are on vacation. The kitchen has 3 bar stools for breakfast and also has a table for dining. The sliding doors lead to a covered deck with chairs to overlook the pool and see the white caps of the Atlantic ocean. Any and all outdoor pools are open April through September, they are NOT HEATED.

Enjoy all the amenities; free parking, pool with sundeck, grill area and picnic tables to have a beachside family gathering. Just beyond the dunes, only steps down the beach path, enjoy fantastic days in the sun. Guests are welcome to use any of the beach supplies in the unit. There is a laundry room for guest use just steps from the front door of the condo.

In the immediate area, "Shore Drive" offers local casual entertainment, bars, live music and the famous "Ocean Annie's" on the beach, Flip Flops, Harry the Hats, all located within minutes. Enjoy shopping at Tanger Outlets, Walmart, Kroger (grocery) stores, just to mention a few. Enjoy the many sites, attractions, golf, marina and restaurants at Barefoot Landing, located just minutes away in North Myrtle beach. Or head South, 15 minutes, and enjoy Broadway at the Beach, Pelicans Baseball, Wonder Works, Ripley's aquarium, Myrtle Waves waterpark, helicopter rides, go-cart race tracks and much, much more.
**The Government Beach Renourishment Project is occurring in nearby areas. The project will run – Myrtle Beach to State Park to Garden City / Georgetown County. This may affect the beach at your property. The project is permitted for, and will be constructed, 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week. Noise and beach interruption should be expected. **

This property is one of the best locations on the beach. Everything is nicely maintained and the hosts were very responsive, though we had no real issues.

The condo was great! Central air is a big plus when the temps are hot and steamy and the view from balcony is superb! You are right on first floor from parking lot so 6 steps and you're in. The location is 5 to 10 minutes from outlet mall, krogers, Walmart, fast food and sit down restaurants and about 5 miles from Barefoot Landing. If you're looking gor a prime beach place to stay with private pool and stone's throw from tge ocean, this is it!

Enjoyable living on the beach

Great vacation rental right off the beach with newer updated remodeling and all the amenities. The place was very clean and had a fully equipped kitchen along with ample living space and big screen TV. I would definitely consider booking this place in the future again.

The perfect place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was the perfect setting for our vacation as it is right on the beach! The sunrise and sunset views are amazing and the condo was updated and so relaxing. We already booked for next year!

I reached out to the owners and have not heard back about any refund. We had no hot water the entire time we were here. Four days with no showers for my husband and I and my parents who are turning 80 this year. We also had no parking passes and I had to handle that myself and go pick them up (almost an hour of driving if you count both ways). The condo was very nice, we could see the ocean, but we could not see the crashing waves or people on the actual beach (that's part of the fun of an ocean front condo). It was especially important since my parents would not sit on the beach and get sweaty since they could NOT take a shower afterwards. We have come to these condos since I was too small to remember, and this if the ONLY time my parents didn't go sit on the beach. They get cold easily, and not having a hot, or heck even warm shower each day was bad enough, but they sure couldn't get sweaty and not be able to rinse off. The pool and ocean were too cold to rinse off in. 60 degrees. I hope the rental owners reach out and do something for us, I waited a week to review in hopes of something. I will now reach out to VRBO instead. They said they'd get it fixed, and I believe they will, but if anything goes wrong while you are at this particular condo, it is very difficult to get a hold of anyone, and they do not give you any funds back for any inconvenience, even a HUGE one like no hot water.

Thank you for your review and feedback. I am glad your family enjoyed the beautiful views. Our maintenance team did stop by twice during your stay to fix the hot water heater. The cleaning company forgot to leave the parking passes,our team member did drop them off to you. The hot water is fixed and working properly. So sorry for the inconvenience this caused your family. A partial refund was given.

Beautiful Condo For a Peaceful Geataway

This spacious home like condo provides you with a luxiourious up to date setting that makes you feel your at home while sitting directly on the beach. Your Ocean View and beach access is wonderful. The smell of the ocean air is soothing to the soul. The pool and lounging area is kept clean there is always plenty of room to enjoy. This end unit is on the first floor with minimal steps to access. There is onsite laundry right on the same floor. Shopping, food and bars are close. The sand is at your feet here! You can tell the owner takes pride in this property and wants you to enjoy it. There is also chairs and toys for the rental family to use in the storage closet in the unit. :) I will DENITELY RENT THIS UNIT AGAIN!!!!! This is a WIN WIN UNIT for all!
