Welcome to El Colorado Lodge—your home base for exploring the magic of Manitou Springs and beyond. Nestled at the base of Pikes Peak and just minutes from Garden of the Gods, this historic adobe cabin blends rustic Southwest charm with modern comfort and unbeatable location.
This cozy retreat is ideal for couples, solo travelers, digital nomads, and adventurous duos seeking an authentic Colorado experience. We're also dog-friendly—so bring your four-legged companion along!

The Space
Each private cabin features a thoughtfully designed layout, a charming original adobe fireplace (decorative only), a private patio perfect for morning coffee or sunset stargazing, a compact kitchenette or fridge/microwave setup, heating and A/C, smart TV, and strong Wi-Fi for remote work or relaxation.
Our lodge is under new ownership, and we’re currently renovating select cabins and the grounds to elevate your experience. Expect evolving updates that preserve our 1920s charm while adding fresh touches.

Built in the 1920s, this beloved property has welcomed travelers for nearly a century—drawn here by mountain views, healing springs, and a bit of stillness. Over the next year, we’re thoughtfully reimagining the lodge as El Colorado Stays: a curated collection of design-forward casitas, each with its own story, spirit, and soul. Stay tuned for our full relaunch in late summer 2026—just in time for the lodge’s 100-year anniversary.

As your hosts, we’re not a faceless corporation—we’re locals, explorers, and design lovers who believe great travel should be beautiful, personal, and easy. We’re updating every space with care, blending rustic adobe charm with modern comforts. Think cozy beds, smart locks, Wi-Fi, and touches of quiet luxury.

While renovations are underway, rest assured: your stay won’t be near active construction. We’re restoring the property in phases to preserve guest experience. You’ll be staying in one of our classic, well-loved cabins—rich with charm, stories, and mountain air. There’s a natural rhythm to the neighborhood; trail runners, climbers, cyclists, and weekend wanderers all crossing paths between coffee shops and canyon ridgelines.
