When my kids were younger, I often brought them to "Smuggs" to ski. They have great ski schools and programs for all ages, including seniors. Great restaurants on site -- my favorite is the Hearth and Candle -- and a resort style pub with different entertainment every night.

"Smuggs" has some of the best skiing in the northeast. There are two locations specifically designed for younger children who are just learning to ski. One is the Mogul Mouse lift which has slower lift loading and lower chairs, and the second is the Morse Highlands lift, which has even lower chairs. Both have reasonable green trails for adults who want to accompany their children after lessons.
