It is located just steps away from South Jetty, The Crow's Nest Restaurant/Marina (bike/kayak rentals) and of course the beautiful beach and turquoise water of The Gulf of Mexico. The condo is located in the beautiful beachfront community of Bahia Vista Gulf on the east side of Tarpon Dr. Our unit is a quick walk across Tarpon thru BVG's landscaped gardens to the private, sparkling new, saltwater pool and oceanfront lounge area. This is a quiet, residential community offering evenings that are very peaceful and poolside sunsets that are as good as it gets. The Fabulous Historic Downtown Venice is a short (walkable) distance away as is The Venetian Waterway Park Trail for biking. Saturdays showcase the Venice Farmers Market and the many nearby towns offer more shopping,dining and South FL activities year-round...As per the HOA: No Pets. Granted the condo is small but space is used wisely. Nicely appointed. Kitchen has everything and extras. Location is a vigorous walk into town. Host communicates right away
Phil and Janâs canal condo is adorable and fully equipped for a month (or longer) stay. The location is just a short walk to the south jetty and an easy stroll through the same property across the street to the beach. You can walk all the way down the beach to the city beach and beyond. If you have a bike, itâs an easy ride to town, Publix or other parks. Venice is a lovely town with a Saturday farmers market, galleries and good restaurants. Donât miss Clyde Butcherâs gallery with his large format black and white photos of the Everglades and south Florida beaches. Itâs just across 41 to the east just off Venice Ave. in an industrial area.
Phil is a dream host to communicate with. He answered all my VRBO messages and occasional text immediately and pleasantly. I would be happy to return here next winter.
It was a little small even for just me. I thought it had a private balcony, but it was actually a walkway for the entire building. I did find two dead roaches, and hair in a dresser drawer, which kind of gagged me. Donât drink the water, itâs a little smelly. Iâm so sorry, Iâm just being honest.
Close to the beach, property just as described, pool was a plus, walking distance to restaurants, only a short commute to downtown Venice. We enjoyed our stay and the property owner was very responsive.
It was our first time staying and Venice and loved the area! The condo has EVERYTHING you could possibly need or want-perfect for 2 people. It was not directly beachfront but it's a short walk across the street to the beach and the very nice pool! It was very clean and comfortable!
The condo was very nice, but small. My only complaint was the couch was not comfortable and after sleeping on the bed a few nights my back would hurt, but my husband didn't have that problem.
Our stay in Unit L-280 was perfection.
The unit was comfortable and had everything you might need in kitchen, bath, bedding and beach needs.
This area of Venice is absolutely beautiful and has so much to offer.
Great access to the beach and pool area, just across the street. Would definitely return and such ease dealing with Philip & Jan.
