Welcome to this two-story, villa-style condo at Summer Beach near the Ritz-Carlton of Amelia Island, where you'll be treated to a gorgeous oceanfront setting and access to a lovely, tree-lined swimming pool. This two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom condo enjoys a quiet and convenient location, only steps from the beach and the pool if you are so inclined. It's also mere minutes from beautiful downtown Fernandina with its many great shops and restaurants.

Guests can enjoy a wonderfully updated space that comes newly painted and with new flooring, smooth ceilings, and a well-equipped kitchen for all your meals and snacks needs. Additional highlights include high-speed WiFi, TVs in every room, and a private washer/dryer. There's even a spacious balcony with a bistro table and chairs, so you can dine alfresco in the fresh ocean air.

Great location, condo could use improvements

The positives are that this condo faces the ocean. The views off the east side are beautiful! The balcony is nice. Just a short walk to the beach access paths. The pool is convenient and in a shady area, so it is a GREAT relief after baking in the hot Florida sun. The condo is a bit tired. The door mat greeting your entrance is worn and shabby. The kitchen needs some new utensils, coffee mugs, and basic cooking supplies. The T.V. in the family room is tiny and tucked into an armoire, making it difficult for a family to all enjoy watching something together. The mattresses and pillows need replacing. I don't think any of us were able to get a good night's sleep.

Not what I expected

I am not sure what was updated but to me everything is very old. The air works well downstairs but not well at all upstairs. A bug was found in the king bed upon arrival. The sink in the 2nd bedroom does not work and nobody ever came to fix it after telling the property people twice! A very big wasp nest on the balcony therefore we were unable to use which was also reported and nothing was done. The pullout couch does not work. The back will not stay up when pulled out.

Great weekend trip to Fernandina Beach

Location was clean, easy access, with just a short boardwalk to the beach. No driving on the beach at this location was a big plus.

A Comfortable Stay

This condo is in a beautiful location - right on dunes and a short walk from the beach. This property still feels a bit outdated (peeling paints, old furniture and appliances) but it was clean, and everything we needed worked. It suited our purposes fine and made for a comfortable vacation. The provided beach chairs/umbrella were old & worn so I'd recommend bring your own or better yet rent the chair service on the beach.

Lovely place, amazing view

Lovely place to stay with a great patio for morning coffee. I didn’t realize all the directions and check in information came from Vacasa — check your email for that instead of VRBO! Stocked with two beach chairs and umbrella. Perfect for a nice day at the beach. We loved our stay.

Beautiful Sunrise View

This was my families first time to the ocean. The view was gorgeous. Access to the beach and a short drive to excellent dining was very accommodating. We did have a couple issues with the property though that prevented giving it 5 stars. We were unable to use the upstairs TVs due to not being able to connect to services. They should be updated to smart TVs. The Keurig works only if you poke your own hole on the bottom of the K-cup. The front of the washer swings open when washing. The gargage disposal for the kitchen sink did not work. The hide a bed couch is not functional as you'll fall through a huge hole in it. And the compartment that holds the dishwashing pod was broke. All these things are inexpensive easy fixes and we were surprised on the lack of attention to detail. Overall though we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The minor issues did not outshine the beautiful sunny view.

Dated Yet Comfortable

My 12 year old son and I spent our spring break in Amelia Island as first timers. The check in process with the exception of knowing the gate code was seamless. I received several text messages prior to our arrival making sure we knew how to get in the unit and a number to text during our stay for any issues. The view is lovely, parking is convenient, the walk to the beach is pleasant. I was surprised with how uncrowded the beach was. The property was clean and cozy. The decor is dated. The televisions are small. There are items that need repair: the window handle to open the window in the master is broken, the knobs on the kitchen cabinets are loose, the faucet handle in the kitchen is loose, the dryer is extremely loud. If you are okay with the basics you will enjoy this property.
