First visit to Fernandina Beach

This condo is very spacious and well equipped. The grounds are well manicured and you are steps away from the beach. We enjoyed having our coffee in the morning and an evening cocktail on the balcony. We hope to return next year. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Wonderful vacation with short walk to the beach and to the pool. Condo located on 3rd floor with elevator access and pleasant view. Requires driving up to building to load/unload and take some stairs in order to get to the elevator. Condo spacious, kitchen fairly well stocked, would have liked to have had a blender. Ice maker shut off not working properly so we were dealing with ice falling out when we opened the freezer drawer. Other minor repairs needed, such as hand towel holder in master bath, toilet tissue holder in entrance bath, laundry doors off track, and lint screen in dryer broken. Dining chairs sit very low to table.

We loved this condo

We came to Amelia Island to see our Florida family. After a super busy year we need some R&R and It was very important for us to bring our two dogs and to have a good view. This condo checked all our boxes! It was spacious, clean, a very easy close walk to the beach, and gorgeous view! It was a blessing to us and a great way to end the year! We'll definitely be back!

As advertised

The unit was a little dated but clean and workable. The property was beautiful, well kept, and secure. The first night we were there we dined at the restaurant and we realized we had been to the resort on a business conference a few years earlier. It was good then and hasn’t changed.

Coffee on the patio was fantastic! Loved the biking & walking trails. The only thing to make it better would be to fix the dishwasher which wasn’t working during our stay. We would definitely come back again!

Wonderful Stay.

The complex was great. 5 star. Villa was spacious, great floor plan, well decorated, great views. May need minor attention. Faucets in master bath very hard to turn on. Ice maker not working. Overall a little dated, but we will definitely try to rent this unit again. Overall 4.7.

The unit has a well equipped galley kitchen, and reliable we-fi. The pool area is very nice, with a larger pool than most condo buildings. The only negatives are that the decor is a bit dated and the window coverings in the master bedroom did not work property, neither of which was a big deal for our small family.

The condo was very well appointed and had gorgeous art on the walls as well. We could live there full time and be very satisfied. Our representative Lezlie at Amelia Rental & Management was outstanding as well, as she made sure that everything was just perfect for us. We definitely will use them in the future and will request this same condo unit as well. We couldn't have been happier with the location, the condo and Amelia Rental & Management!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've been coming to Amelia Island Plantation for years. This was my first time staying at Windsong. Its a smaller property which I really liked. The beach in front of the condo was very quiet which was perfect. The unit was very spacious. It's dated and the curtains in he master bedroom had still not been repaired from the previous review I read. I disliked that it had carpet but, I opted to pick this unit knowing this for its large balcony. The carpet needs to be cleaned but, I found the overall unit very clean. However, Do No Stay Here until the construction is finished. We spent our vacation looking at a high-lift parked in front of our balcony and on our last two days they were replacing the wood around the bedroom window so we had to deal with banging for two days. Property management should have informed us this was taking place and we would have chosen another property. All-in-all its a nice unit and I would stay here again but, NOT with construction.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was in a great location. It was clean and well-maintained. I had received a notification that outside maintenance work was being done with the listed completion date as well before my scheduled arrival. This was not the case however and the maintenance work greatly interfered with my vacation. On one day, thick plastic was taped over every window. It was like we were in a giant baggie. This was in place for over 24 hours. One morning when I got up, there was a maintenance worker on my balcony. This man was no more than 2 feet away from me. He actually waved at me as I came out of the bedroom into the living area. As there were no curtains in the main area, there was not much that I could do about the situation. Very much an invasion of privacy. The rental company did refund a portion of my payment and were apologetic about the situation.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was a great one for us. This was our third time visiting Amelia Island. Beaches were not crowded at all. We fished almost everyday. The only negative thing we encountered was the cleanliness of the pool, and it was absolutely awful. I’m. It sure we’ll be dropping thousands of dollars on another condo here because of that. My husband asked a lady there one day who had a cleaning net to borrow it and was talked to awful just for wanting to clean the pool out. Turned out it was the person who was suppose to be cleaning it. We took video and pics of it. It was that bad. We finally, just by chance, met some owners of another condo and they cleaned it out themselves after making a few calls about the pool cleaner, but that was at the end of our last day there. Very dissatisfied with that part of the trip. No complaints about anything else. We had a great time biking, and just relaxing with our two daughters. There is a new fishing store on the island now and my husband was very impressed with it. The condo was very clean and had everything to could ask for and stocked full of things like trash bags and clothes detergent pods. If you drive a big diesel truck like we do you won’t be able to park in the garages they have, but there is a small parking lot we used with no problem. We love Amelia island and we will be back. I give it two stars on cleanliness because of the pool situation. Wish I didn’t have to because we like it there so much.
