We booked this accommodation 2.5 months prior to our stay and when we arrived, we were told that they had no rooms available to accommodate us because they were undergoing construction. We then were told that they could make a room available on the construction floor which was our only option considering we had driven 8 hours and it was 8 PM. When we got to the room, it was clear it hadn’t been used in a while. It was missing bedding and was dirty. The smoke detectors were covered in plastic bags, there were marks all over the walls and floors, the air vent in the bathroom was covered in an inch thick layer of dust, the shower products were full of water, and the sink clogged every time you turned it on and had particles coming out from it. The clientele at this location was very concerning and it seemed like several people here were living there full-time. We met a group in the elevator that warned us to stay safe (seeing that we were a group of girls) as they had met people in the elevator the night before who told them they had three escorts in the room and they could stop by at any time. The employees at the front desk were the only thing positive about this stay as they were super helpful but overall this was an outrageous stay considering the cost - sleeping in our car probably would have been better.
