Bienvenue au Ginger's Sanctuary!

Emplacement:

Notre maison principalement en bois est située sur une route privée, isolée entre les arbres, surplombant le Coxing Kill et à seulement cinq minutes à pied d'une ferme en plein air pour vous permettre de ramasser vos œufs frais.

La maison:

Immense terrasse entièrement rénovée et meublée, sur un chemin privé, entouré par la nature - notre maison est l'endroit idéal pour passer du temps de qualité avec des amis et la famille.

Le premier étage est un immense espace semi-ouvert où la cuisine et la salle à manger donnent sur le salon, un îlot de cuisine avec des chaises de bar, une cuisine spacieuse pour vous préparer vos repas préférés, deux poêles pour vous aider à cuisiner et une grande terrasse équipée d'un tout nouveau barbecue et mobilier.
Une chambre est située au premier étage avec deux lits simples (sur demande, nous pouvons les réunir), ainsi qu'une salle de bain complète, ainsi que la laveuse et la sécheuse.

Deuxième étage:
- Chambre principale et salle de bain, tout nouveau lit king-size avec matelas tempurpdic, terrasse privée.
- Chambre enfant avec lit double, lit bébé en bois, canapé-lit
- Chambre avec lit queen size
Une salle de bain complète est disponible pour les deux chambres.

Troisième étage:
Salle de méditation équipée d'un canapé-lit (queen size), livres spirituels, ballon de yoga, tapis de yoga. L'espace idéal pour servir de médiateur, lire des livres ou l'utiliser comme chambre privée.

Veuillez noter que le tarif par nuit est indiqué pour 8 personnes.
Si la réservation est pour plus de 8 personnes, un supplément de 50 $ / jour / personne sera ajouté au total.

Beautiful Retreat

This beautiful home is ideal for 2 families meeting up. Lots of space indoors and out. Hot tub heaven, running room for football games. Near fabulous walks and New Paltz for shopping and supplies.

Lovely Place to Stay

Would highly recommend with no reservations. This is our second time staying here. Ginger Road House is a beautiful property with comfy beds, lovely views, great amenities, and everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The hosts were highly responsive and were always available to answer questions. It was a lovely place to celebrate my wife's birthday with a small group of friends. We are hoping to come back for a third time & more.

Family winter get together

Great property for family gathering! Very open floor plan on 1st & 2nd levels so everyone felt included in what was happening... loved how bright it was with all the windows! Beds were super comfortable! Located a short drive from many different activities; we ventured 1 beautiful cold day to Poughkeepsie to walk the Mid-Hudson Pedestrian bridge.

Great Rental.

Everything about this property is great! We had an awesome weekend renting this home. The owners were easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Great place for families with children to stay as well. Although the house did get warm during the day, the deck area was a great place to hang. During the evening and morning the house was very comfortable. I’d recommend this place to any large groups looking for a rental in the High Falls area.

Family vacation

Our extended family of five adults, four children, and a dog, spent a lovely week in this spacious home. We have relatives in the area who also joined us for several meals. The house and grounds offer many options for interacting with others. Or alternatively, for finding privacy. One member of our family had a business meeting on Zoom and found the third floor meditation room to be perfect for that purpose. The kids explored the creek and spread their projects across the living room floor. This property has my highest recommendation.

New Years 2022/23

7 Friends and 5 Kids needed an escape to relax over new years, Ginger Road was ideal, secluded but close enough to amenities, with ample living space for us to not be bumping into each other. The house checked all the boxes we required. Painless process working with the hosts.

Good location for our group!

We stayed here for the annual Rock the Ridge race. The location was great, we had plenty of room for everyone and the house was very well equipped. The kitchen and large kitchen table was where we spent most of our time while in the house. Plenty of room to play games, and serve dinner. The communication with the host was excellent. A couple of small issues in the house (clogged shower, ants and even a squirrel entering the house!), but we're in the woods, so...... :) We'd definitely stay here again!

Christmas 2021

A magical Christmas was enjoyed by our family at Ginger's Sanctuary !! We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival to a lovely decorated Christmas tree (a live one!) complete with twinkling lights and ornaments ! How special ! The home was lovely, warm, spacious and equipped with everything one could hope or ask for. A wood burning stove with an ample supply of firewood kept the house toasty warm inside and the amazing hot tub kept you warm outside! We were blessed one morning with a lovely snowfall and took a walk on Ginger Road - met a couple of friendly neighbors along the way and loved the picturesque surroundings. The landscape was from a Currier and Ives picture - breathtaking! The house was spotless - the beds were very comfortable - the bath towels luxurious! Great care and attention to detail was evident in every room of this house ! Kosta and Lidia made sure their guests had all the comforts of home AND MORE !! We would give this beautiful home and owners 10 STARS! Thank you so very much for sharing your wonderful home with our family. Debby and Vincent

Hiking Base Camp

The home in the shadow of Mohonk House is a great place for heading out for eye poppingly beautiful hikes. The property had everything we needed to rest, relax and rejuvenate before and after a day of hiking. It was like our own private upscale park lodge.

Rustic family get-away

Our stay here was a much-needed family gathering. Plenty of space both inside and out. We could have used more outdoor seating - so bring lawn chairs or folding chairs if you want to be outside. Really close to state parks/Mohonk Preserves, so that was a plus.

Great home, and a great stay!

Highly recommend this home. Lots of space, cozy, and all the ammenities one needs. Kitchen had the essentials, jacuzzi was hot ready for a dip, fire place kept the house nice warm the entire stay. Owners also very acoomidating.

Wonderful stay in Hudson Valley

We had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving at Lola's house in High Falls. It's located off a quiet road in a wooded area. Very peaceful, close to shopping and dining in New Paltz and hiking in the surrounding area.

Peaceful Retreat in High Falls

The home had ample room for our group who were all in town for a wedding at the nearby Mohonk Mountain House. Everything we needed was readily available and we appreciated the ample firewood to use in the fire pit. Would book again.

Incredible property with accommodating hosts - wish we could have stayed longer!

We were in town for a wedding at the nearby Mohonk Mountain House, and absolutely wish we could have stayed at this beautiful house longer to take advantage of the expansive property. We didn't get a chance to try the hot tub or the fire pit, but they were so inviting and such a nice option for chilly Fall nights in the country. The location was remote and quiet, which was perfect for our needs, and the rooms were very comfortable and well-appointed. Check in was also easy, as the host was there to walk us through all of the finer, nice-to-know details of the rental (i.e. technology, thermostat, emergency numbers, etc.) My only complaint would be that in the master bathroom, the seal on the shower door is broken / doesn't fully close, so water absolutely pooled in front of the shower entrance -- we had to keep towels down, which was an inconvenience, but obviously minor in the grand scheme of things. Overall, we loved our stay here, and hope to return for a longer period one day!

Beautiful Home and Friendly Owners

My friends and I stayed here this past weekend and were very pleased. The entire house felt clean, organized and very spacious. Our favorite spot to relax was at the kitchen table, all 10 of us were able to congregate around! Homeowners were very friendly and were available if we had any questions (thank you!). I would come back to this home and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway close enough to New Paltz area too!

Fantastic!

Loved staying at the house! Costa was a great host and met us on the first day of check in. He showed us everything that we would need to know around the house. He even surprised us with fresh eggs! The house was clean and well stocked. It was a bit warm and stuffy during the day dream but really nice at night. I would recommend maybe putting more fans throughout the house to combat the summer day heat. Would definitely come back again!!
