had a nice relaxing weekend beds are very comfortable and home is very clean. easy check in and clear communication from owner. We would definitely here again
Not the cleanest, but perfect size for our family. Needs to have better explanations. For instance, the garbage shed was behind the neighbors 8 cars, and we couldnât tell thatâs where we were to put garbage until they all left. It was too full for our garbage by the end of their stay and our stay. Also, the fireplace on/off was way away from the fireplace, which we found days later. Not nearly enough paper products, I was very surprised about that. Towels were very musty smelling, which is quite gross and sheets were bleached out in spots. Overall, itâs hard to find a big enough house for our family, but cleanliness was subpar for price.
We have stayed here twice now and appreciate all the beds available. Half the group is skiers, half is snomobilers. There is parking up top for the trailers so be aware that you might have to park and walk your stuff down.
The house was perfect for our group of 14. Plenty of room for everyone. The house is well appointed and the decks were great for watching the lake and sunsets. The dock and beach area was perfect for all to play and dock our boat. Definitely, we will look to stay at Harris Cove in the future.
This was our second year at this home for our family reunion. There was plenty of room for everyone, great access to the lake with the private dock and very close to town. The owner was great to work with throughout our stay. Highly recommended.
We had a large group of friends and families and I would highly recommend this house. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Clean and warm house in the winter. Plenty of parking. Definitely need to come back in the summer!
Perfect little get-away location nestled in the pines with lake views. We absolutely loved every minute! We brought bikes and biked into Ponderosa State Park and in to town every day. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We can't wait to come back!
VEry nice 3 story home with 7 bedrooms, 7 baths. Jack and Jill style bathrooms for most of the bedrooms with 2 having their own bathroom. large family/living room with adjacent dining area and kitchen. We had a total of 14 people and did not use 2 of the bedrooms for our family configuration but were available if more space was needed. The drive is a little steep so four-wheel drive with snow tires or studs recommended in the winter. Rick the Owner went out of his way to make this reservation come to fruition. quick and timely communication about potential problems that were resolved with the option of full refund one day prior to the scheduled reservation date secondary to issues with the water heater that was actually not a problem but did let us know there may be a problem with hot water. Even after that issue was resolved he allowed us the option for cancelation in case it was not a lasting resolution. We had all the hot water we could use and more. The bathrooms do not have bathtubs if that is important but not an issue for us. All was resolved with great satisfaction. There is no lake access from this property but overall the rate and accommodations were very nice I could imagine that another 7-10 people could have stayed depending on ages. Large, plenty of room for our family with 3 children and spouses, 6 grandchildren with room to spare. Thank you Rick for the accommodations.
Had a wonderful holiday week, including skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, hot springs visits, plus lots of family time with board games and big family meals. This home was a perfect getaway base for our large family of grandparents, parents, and children. The many bedrooms and bathrooms allowed for family groupings on different levels. The kitchen was well stocked, and double tables in the dining area were great for dinners and game nights! We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend Harris Cove Lodge.
An added plus: the owner Rick was just a quick message away for any questions.
Weâll be back!
I am an Idaho native and have been coming to McCall my entire life. My grandfather purchased the property where LAKESIDE is located in 1954. I had a long successful career in pharmaceutical sales before making LAKESIDE my full time business. We do our best to make sure it is in great condition at all times and that guests will have a great time making life long memories with family and friends.
The Harris Cove Lodge is located in a unique relatively secluded part of Payette Lake. It has a beautiful view of Payette Lake and the surrounding mountains. Being on the lake and close to town gives guests the convenience and opportunity to enjoy everything McCall has to offer within minutes of the property.
Being on the relatively secluded peaceful east arm of Payette Lake and having incredible lake and mountain views are just a few of the features that make the Harris Cove Lodge a great place to make life long memories with friends and family. Bordering Idaho State Forrest land makes Lakeside and the Harris Cove Lodge the perfect place to enjoy the lake, surrounding mountains and all that nature has to offer.
