We enjoyed our stay at 1404 Sandpiper. We particularly liked the spacious interior, the three large sized bedrooms, each with its own TV and private bathroom, the patio furniture both in the inner courtyard and poolside patio for eating meals outside in the spring Palm Desert weather, the ceiling fans that keep a nice gentle breeze flowing on hot days and the well designed kitchen with every device you could possibly want to use in preparing meals. The shared pool area is spacious and nicely landscaped, and we enjoyed meeting the friendly Circle 14 neighbors.

We loved our month in this historic mid century modern neighborhood.
Its proximity to El Paseo’s shops and restaurants, as well as hiking trails makes it ideal for those who love to be on foot to get around.
The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. Nice flatware, dishes and bar glasses, as well as the best martini 🍸� shaker ever 🤗�. shaker
The beds were incredibly comfortable with great quality bedding.
Two of the bathroom showers, true to the design and architecture of the era have a “step down into” shower which could possibly be an issue for anyone with mobility issues, however the third bath was a regular easy to use shower. The brand new washer and dryer (and supplied laundry detergent) were much appreciated.
We loved this spacious and bright house, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Chris for your kind hospitality!

Quiet, clean and upscale

Perfect Location/Great Layout
My husband and I stayed in this lovely townhouse for two months and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The layout is perfect for guests with three very separate very large en suited bedrooms all with big closet areas as well. All three of the beds were comfortable with good bed linens and the towels were good quality as well and there were plenty of them. The living room is also very large and works well with guests and with a large dining room that comfortably seats 8 people we were able to entertain dinner guests with ease. Both our son and my husband loved having a grand piano to play. The kitchen has terrific top of the line appliances and is very well equipped. We also enjoyed the large view facing patio area and the pool is great and incredibly under utilized.
Best of all is the location - walking distance to good restaurants and shops including Whole Foods. Westfield Mall is less than 5 minutes away by car. Two different hiking trail heads are within easy walking distance. We have been coming to the valley for about 12 years now and this was the absolutely best location we have found.
Minor downside to note - the bathrooms, while large and well laid out, could benefit from a face lift; same with the kitchen - new counter tops and cabinets would be in order. Everything worked but updating would make this place completely amazing. That said, these minor flaws certainly did not interfere with our enjoyment of the home.
Thank you for the nice review. Our goal with the home is to maintain the mid-century look and feel for people that desire a unique vacation experience. A new country kitchen with granite countertops is not in the cards.
