The upstairs primary bedroom feels like a peaceful retreat in the treetops, bathed in natural light and furnished with a plush king-size bed, a spacious seating area, and a generous closet. The open loft shares the same airy feel, featuring a queen bed and a queen trundle—perfect for kids, cousins, or anyone who enjoys a sleepover vibe. A spacious desk and chair by the window provide the perfect setting for getting some work done! A full bathroom with a walk-in shower completes the space, offering comfort and ease for everyone upstairs.

Head downstairs for a space that brings everyone together. The basement is made for laid-back fun, featuring a ping pong table, a collection of games, and plenty of cozy seating for cheering each other on—or simply kicking back in front of the 65` smart TV. And for those who like to balance play with a bit of movement, there’s even a home gym area—perfect for squeezing in a workout before your next riverside adventure.

Surrounded by nature, the outdoor spaces are just as inviting as the indoors. Sip your morning coffee in one of the two egg chair swings on the front deck or share stories on the back deck, where you’ll find a comfortable sitting area and two grills—a gas grill and a Kamado Joe charcoal grill—for all your BBQ favorites. A screened-in porch offers a shady spot to unwind, rain or shine. Just a few hundred feet from the cabin, you`ll find private river access, four kayaks, a picnic table, and a fire pit—everything you need for slow mornings, adventurous afternoons, and starry evenings by the water.

Guests have full access to the entire cabin, along with exclusive access to the open field with the fire pit and private river access just steps away. Kayaks are provided, so you can head straight from your door to the water whenever the mood strikes.

The Luna Studio, located near the cabin, may be rented separately, so please be aware that other guests may be staying there.

By Car
A personal vehicle is strongly recommended for your stay. The cabin is tucked away in a natural setting, and having your own transportation makes it easy to explore the area and get to nearby attractions.

Rideshare Services
Uber and Lyft are available locally, though availability may vary depending on the time of day. We suggest pre-scheduling rides if you have time-sensitive plans.

Public Transportation
Public transportation is limited in this area. The closest options are in Burlington, about 15–20 minutes away by car. For day trips or commuting to Elon University, which is just a 10-minute drive, driving or using rideshare is your best option.

1. If you are local please notify us before making your reservation.

2. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud.

3. No parties or events allowed.
**If small events are allowed: We welcome small, calm gatherings such as baby showers, family birthdays, and similar events. However, all events must be pre-approved in advance. Please provide details, including the number of guests and duration, for consideration. Large parties, loud gatherings, or disruptive events are strictly prohibited. Guests are responsible for ensuring all attendees respect house rules and neighborhood quiet hours. Unapproved events may result in cancellation of the reservation.

4. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible.

5. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage, or use of the fireplace. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.

6. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund.

7. Late check-out fee of $200 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them.

8. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in).

9. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 15 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property.

10. Only flush the provided septic-safe toilet paper (no sanitary products, wipes, etc.) as other products will clog and ruin the septic system.

13. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos.

16. If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs.

17. If you were a previous/current guest and did not respect our house rules and our property, we have the right to decline your next reservation.
