Cozy Cabin With A View

This was our second time at this property and we hope to return next summer. The cabin is small but efficient with a complete kitchen and full sized appliances. I love the sunroom where the view of Little Round Lake is stunning.

Our other family members stay in the motel and we are able to sit on our deck and watch the grandkids swim and fish off the dock. Cute little cabin.

4 day getaway

The refrigerator didn't work to keep things cool but the freezer worked and we had coolers. The reclining chairs seemed to be broken and we couldn't get the TV to work but we spent most of our time outside, on the porch or on the water with the pontoon boat so it was a great, relaxing, quiet 4 day getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great little cabin for 2! Very clean and that’s so important right now. Easy to book-check in and check out quick. Has a nice screen porch came in handy on a rainy night to listen to band across lake at Props. Very close to Tamerak Winery- great pizza and even ribs on weekend. Fish tales close for takeout as well.Only complaint is the recliners really should be replaced!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful cabin for two. We were the only cabin in use at the time so was very quiet and nice getaway during pandemic. Outdoor deck and screened in porch along with pontoon wonderful, however weather wasn't great so we didn't get to use as much as we had hoped. Cabin was well appointed. Bed comfortable. As others have mentioned the two recliner chairs have seen better days. The bathroom sink drain needs to be taken apart and cleaned (beyond Draino)as it didn't drain. All in all we did enjoy.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is beautiful and nicely appointed. The location is great. A bald eagle was a regular visitor and the loons were calling. Little Round is a nice lake. The resort staff was very responsive and helpful.Unfortunately the floor was not well swept when we arrived. The first pieces of silverware that I took out of the drawer were not clean so we washed all of them. The front blinds that face the lake were broken. One would not raise and the other had a broken slat.The recliners are shot. Once you had them reclined you had to climb out to push the leg support down and it was not easy. My wife couldn’t get out so every time she sat I had to help her out. The mattress has seen better days.The air conditioner is loud.The pontoon boat ran well but the depth finder didn’t work. The screen was clouded and unreadable if it did. We have stayed in this cabin before and really enjoyed ourselves so this visit was disappointing. I realize that after last year times are tough but I had hoped for better.

An Awesome Stay

Grand Pines cabin/boat review

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location and cabin was very cute and comfortable, but dirty. Cobwebs and dust/dirt in corners, a couple stove burners didn't work, some broken window blinds, etc. For the higher cost, we expected clean. Someone was supposed to meet us at the cabin to show us the boat keys and cabin features, but nobody showed up. The pontoon boat was a mess and had a torn bimini top and tears in the cushions. It ran okay for the first 1.5 days then broke...we were able to trade for another eventually. It was a step up, but still had some tears and was dirty.

The Recliners need to be replacement Trim the tree in front of the porch so the fabulous view can be fully enjoyed. Really nice cabin. Fire pit, grill & screened porch - everything you need for a great Lake experience

The only feedback I can give is the chairs in the cabin are really old and you can't fold in the recliner, we even put towels on them as the condition was bad, should maybe be replaced with a couch. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a wonderful cabin "vacation" for me and my fiancé. The only issue was there wasn't a "love seat" in the "living room", but rather 2 "lazy boy" type chairs which were almost impossible to fold back up once they were opened into a full recline position. I suggest those chairs be replaced with a love seat or 2 lazy boy chairs that operate smoothly.
