La Bagatelle est une villa merveilleusement spacieuse située sur une colline surplombant les Pitons avec des vues panoramiques spectaculaires sur la mer des Caraïbes.

La villa dispose de 4880 pieds carrés d'espace de vie et salle à manger avec une vue imprenable sur les couchers de soleil de l'après-midi et peut accueillir jusqu'à six personnes. Il y a aussi une banquette-lit à baldaquin et un hamac pour ceux qui veulent profiter de la brise fraîche et un livre de détente ou une sieste l'après-midi.La cuisine est spacieuse et entièrement équipée pour préparer tous les repas que vous désirez.À l'autre extrémité se trouve une piscine rafraîchissante qui offre une terrasse pour bronzer et un barbecue pour cuisiner du poisson frais local ou du homard.De plus, les hauts plafonds à pics et les sols en cèdre vert polis font de cette villa un luxe d'espace et de style.

Au rez-de-chaussée se trouvent deux suites meublées avec goût avec de grandes salles de bains carrelées à l’italienne et des placards. La chambre principale dispose d'un lit à baldaquin West Indian, d'une armoire et de tables de chevet antiques.

La deuxième chambre dispose d'un lit queen et un grand lit et une commode. Les moustiquaires sont sur tous les lits un coffre-fort est disponible pour vos objets de valeur.
Les installations comprennent une piscine privée de 18’X10 ’entourée de plantes tropicales et une terrasse. Des chaises de piscine et des chaises longues sont également fournies

Fabulous villa

We loved the villa, views are amazing & we really enjoyed the open plan, airy feel of the place. Bibi & Alvin looked after us very well, very much enjoyed Bibi’s local cooked dishes & she kept the place immaculate. Alvin kept the birdfeeders well topped up so we could enjoy the birdlife particularly the hummingbirds & the work he has done the gardens is stunning. The house feels very secure but you will need a car here, quite a hike to town or back uphill from the beach. All in all, a lovely, chilled week & we will be back.

Perfect escape

Our stay at this vacation rental in St. Lucia was absolutely perfect! The property was exactly as described in the listing—beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Anniversary

My wife and I stayed 10 days at the villa. The property was spotless! The view, pool, and location were great. The proximity to Anse Chastanet Beach was perfect if you wanted to spend a day lounging and snorkeling. There was an umbrella and beach chairs for beach days, which was awsome. You will need an umbrella because the sun is so intense. My wife and I decided to rent a car in Soufriere and they brought it up to the villa and dropped it off. Walking to the beach and town was impractical because of the hills and distance. We found that having the ability to drive to the beach and several resorts to have dinner worked out well and we drove ourselves back to the airport for our departure which was not a problem. The island was beautiful the beach time was great but we also walked through the botanical gardens and did a hike into the forest which was a highlight of our trip. Alvin was available if we needed something and was happy to guide our forest hike and Bibi was there each day to keep everything in order and she did a great job!

Will Be Back!

We loved our stay at La Bagatelle, it made our honeymoon so magical so stay in such a lovely spot! The pictures don’t do it justice. The drive Arthur is very friendly and was available to drive us wherever we wished. Be aware the road to and from the property is quite windy so take precautions if you get car sick easily. The only thing that would have made it perfect is some A/C in the bedrooms - we were there in November and it was still over 30 Celsius at night with fans which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Overall wonderful villa that we will happily revisit!

Magical Honeymoon

The Villa here has the most stunning views of the Pitons - by far the most beautiful part of St Lucia. The floorplan is uniquely wide open, spacious and well appointed. We loved the views, walks to the beach and all the people we met. Alvin, the property manager, is so helpful and kind. The gardens and flowers and hummingbirds just amazing. Relaxing, romantic. Perfect.

The best place on the island

I booked this place for our honeymoon based on the past reviews and photographs, and it even exceeded expectations. The views are genuinely incredible and almost take your breath away. Waking up to that view every morning with a coffee is worth the trip up Anse Chastenet road to get there. The villa is the best equipped rental I have ever come across. Alvin is great for just chatting to, booking and helping to arrange things, learning about the area, and has created an incredible garden over the past 6 years. Verlinda is a lovely cleaner that comes in most days and makes sure the house is spick and span for you. The bedrooms and en-suites are very spacious, the pool is lovely, and the location is perfect for a tourist. We used a great taxi driver called Germal who took us everywhere with no fuss and fair prices; much less hassle than hiring a car so would highly recommend him. The property manager can sort that for you. An added bonus was the hummingbirds that visit daily for the nectar - they are beautiful. Safe to say, all the reviews are correct and this place is insanely good.

St. Lucia vacation

The La Bagatelle villa is breathtaking and immaculately clean. It has everything you need to feel right at home. The pool is a huge plus as it was very hot and humid during our stay. If there is any way to air condition the bedrooms, that would be a big plus. Verlinda and Alvin are very friendly and a wealth of information. They kept the villa super clean. We dined at Camille Blanc hotel several times. It’s a 10 minute walk from the villa.

La Bagatelle, a wonderful villa

This was our 3rd time staying in Le Bagatelle, and our first sine Covid. It is absolutely the perfect villa for 2 couples. So much space and the most amazing views. The plunge pool was clean and warm and very much an enjoyable asset. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful St. Lucia Retreat

We visited St. Lucia as a group of 4 (2 couples) and after considering Anse Chastanet for lodging and scuba diving, we decided to rent La Bagatelle based on the close proximity to all of the hiking and diving we planned to do, but with a more quiet setting and beautiful views. The house was extremely comfortable and peaceful and both of the bedrooms were equally comfortable. The views are probably one of the best in the whole region and for the most part, the temperature was comfortable, especially under the fans. I am a mosquito magnet, but they were manageable with bug spray and citronella candles and the mosquito nets on the beds kept them at bay all night. We loved all of the birds and Alvin regularly brought treats from the gardens! We are all avid hikers, but the first afternoon after lunch and swimming at Anse Mamin we decided that multiple trips up the hill was not something we were looking forward to, so we ultimately rented a car. This may not be the best option for everyone, especially if you are not comfortable driving on narrow, unimproved roads, but we survived unscathed! We mostly ate out at some of the delicious local restaurants and cooked our own breakfast and lunch in the well stocked kitchen. Definitely ask the locals for recommendations! If you are contemplating using the laundry service, it cost us $40 for the amount of laundry that would fit in a carryon bag, so if you are on the fence, you might want to pack an extra bag.

Perfect Honeymoon!

My husband and I stayed for a one week honeymoon and we were blown away. The property is GORGEOUS, tranquil, and everything you could need for a romantic and peaceful getaway. All of the staff were very accommodating - we heavily utilized the private transportation, cooking, massage reservations, and other amenities with ease. We hiked the Gros Pitons, snorkeled at Anse Chastenet beach (with gear provided by the villa), enjoyed massages in the villa, and had multiple great dinners. I would recommend this stay to anyone! My favorite part of our stay was having breakfast every morning overlooking the Pitons. Thank you all for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful View

A fantastic view property with an open living area which adds to the experience. I was initially worried about bugs but was pleasantly surprised how few there were. It was about a 20 minute walk to the beach with a steep return but we enjoyed the exercise. We took a taxi everywhere and didn’t use a rental car. Highly recommended.

Lovely Get Away

All in all a very beautiful property with amazing and relaxing views. Nicely appointed home. Just wish we had a bit more intel upfront on the property so we could have packed and planned a bit better for our trip. Things we would have liked to know. (1) The property is 100 % open air with no air conditioning - would have packed better clothing options. (2) If you rent a car, get a 4 wheel drive - the property will be hard to access with front or rear wheel drive. Best option is to have a taxi driver which was great. (3) During the week day, the property has a grounds keeper and house keeper onsite. Great people, but work noises woke us up.

Amazing View

We decided to go with this property based on the pictures but honestly it is way better in person. There is a lot to do on the island but you could stay on the property and enjoy the pool and view. Benton and his wife were our drivers and they were friendly and on time, every time. The restaurants and beaches were about a 20 minute walk down the hill. You could walk back up but we chose to get a ride. Not many places where we went took debit cards so bring plenty of cash, the atms didn’t work most of the time and had low limits when they did work. My wife and I loved the place and would definitely recommend to anyone

Absolutely amazing

This property was truly idyllic. The view is 5star and pictures do not do it justice. We woke up to the soundtrack of nature and greatly appreciated moments with a backdrop of rainbows. The villa was spacious, very clean and organized with many places to sit and lay down while enjoying the beautiful, ethereal view. Verlinda and Alvin were an absolute delight to be around. Verlinda’s meals were delicious and both were personable and accommodating. We were sad to leave the island.

Simply Amazing

The property is as described. The views are spectactular. Verlinda and Alvin were gracious and took great care of us. Benton drove us anywhere we needed. Alvin maintains gardens in the jungle. The privacy is spectactular. Serene and peaceful if you are into the sounds of nature. Treee frogs are loud but we love that. The villa is well appointed and very tasteful.

Magical!

There are not enough words to describe just how amazing this villa is! The pictures do not do this place justice. Open, inviting, and the décor is impeccable! The open air living room was an absolute treat...my husband and I actually slept upstairs several nights. I could go on about the villa, but I must also share our experience with the staff and the owner. The owner made sure that we had access to transportation and the staff was warm, welcoming, and engaging. But the real shining star of the service came on Friday July 2 when we were hit by Hurricane Elsa. The owner remained in touch with us via text during the storm, and the groundskeeper came back to the villa and remained onsite with us during the storm. We were blown away by the genuine concern and thought of our safety during this time. This was by far our vacation. Beautiful location, beautiful villa, and wonderful staff and owners. We can't wait to come back!

We have just returned from our short stay at La Bagatelle. We were looking for a restful home with views of the Pitons to celebrate a birthday and were not disappointed. The home is beautifully appointed and impeccably maintained by Verlinda and Alvin. As other's have noted, La Bagatelle sits up on the hill side above Anse Chastenet. It is a 15-20 minute walk down the hill to the beach (and a quick car-ride back up....we utilized Benton for our transportation needs and found him friendly and punctual) If you are looking to be in the center of 'the action' look elsewhere.....but if you want extraordinary views, peace, quiet in a sublime villa that is close to all that Soufriere has to offer this is your place. You will not be disappointed!

Our Vacation Villa in Paradise!! Book it and Go!! You will love it!!!

Our family stayed at La Bagatelle, in Soufriere St. Lucia. La Bagatelle is a private, serene gorgeous Villa that gave way to a wide open floor plan both upstairs as well as downstairs. The view of the Pitons, ocean, gardens and surrounding land is absolutely spectacular. Aesthetically, La Bagatelle is a breathtaking, clean, impeccably kept Villa with strategically placed plantings that is surrounded by stunning wrought iron fencing and clean open air. While we experienced a cool cross breeze throughout the Villa, ceiling and oscillating fans are also available for added comfort. We had absolutely no issues with bug control throughout the day or at night. While sleeping at night there were beautiful nets that surround the antique canopy beds that we could easily unfolded if at all needed. Each of us discovered that the daybed on the upper level was wonderful for lounging for a daily afternoon nap as was lounging and relaxing on the deck, in the hammock or by the pool. La Bagatelle’s free WiFi is strong. The new TV allowed us the opportunity to watch satellite broadcasts as well as play a variety of old CD movies in the cabinet. There is basic as well as island reading material and old fashioned table/card games available. For our outdoor entertainment, La Bagatelle supplied us snorkeling equipment, beach towels and backpack chairs. If needed, La Bagatelle also has basic toiletries and first aide supplies. As a team, La Bagatelle staff is above and beyond reproach. We found them all to be a delightful, articulate, attentive, responsive, hardworking, staff with wonderful etiquette whom respected our privacy while tending to our requests/needs and the chores around the Villa. Weather was a perfect “ten” each day. While we adored lounging at La Bagatelle, we did venture out to see the island. We mudded ourselves up in the therapeutic Suplhr Springs, ziplined and hiked to the waterfalls in the Rainforest as well as hiked through the Botanical Gardens, we frolicked/lounged/snorkeled (beautiful colorful fish- scuba and fishing optional but we ran out of time)/swam/practiced yoga/mountain biked at the beautiful beaches and explored the town of Soufriere. In downtown Soufriere, there is a beautifully renovated market. We drank delicious smoothies at Zaka’s and sat at a small new courtyard. Overall, we found the La Bagatelle magical and the people of St. Lucia to be polite and respectful. Thank you Team La Bagatelle without a doubt, we will be back!!!

La Bagatelle

The view is beautiful from the house. The openness of the living area makes you feel a part of nature in the tropical surroundings. However, the openness (lack of walls and windows) makes the heat, bugs, and noise from nearby dwellings less than comfortable. It gets dark early and turning on a light after dark results in swarms of bugs and moths. A few amenities listed (e.g. cable TV and tennis) were not available during our stay.

Paradise

A beautiful open air getaway in Paradise. We had a lovely few days here. Alvin, Verlinda and Benton were so helpful. The hammock, pool and bed on the open living room were ideal of relaxing. I'd come back in a hearbeat!
