Perfect place for a quick getaway. Steps from the lake, with a view from inside. Very thoughtfully decorated and cozy. It was wonderful to sleep with windows open, lulled by the sound of the waves lapping the shore. My only recommendation would be to add a toaster oven or air fryer, as there is only a mini-fridge and microwave. But for a one night stay, it would as perfect!

Perfect spot to make the most of a single day at the beach and explore the surrounding National and State Park. The VRBO is laid back, cozy, CLEAN and has the perfect view of the beach while still feeling like a quaint and comfy hidden home away from home. Host is everything you could ask for and the neighbors we bumped into were all so nice.

I stayed a week and had an absolute blast! The location is amazing and the property is exactly as pictured, comfortable and clean, the best accommodation I have stayed at so far. Beach is a few steps away and is so nice and quiet, just what I was looking for. Most days there were only a few people. I felt like I had my own private beach. Patrick is a nice and friendly host. I would 100% recommend this little piece of paradise and will probably return

Overall it was nice. There were a few things that need attention. Gnats inside, both handrailings down steps loose, one of steps needs repair, door to upstairs level needs renters security lock. As an FYI to future renters need bug spray at the beach. Lots of biting flies, which owner can't help but useful to others who come.Patrick was great! Thanks for a nice time away from "life".

I fell in love with the views and the proximity to the beach, as well as close driving distance to fun things like the European farmer's market. Patrick communicated well and promptly and we had no issues. Plan on bringing extra water if you'll be there a few days; Patrick was kind enough to leave several bottles of water for us, as the water in the apartment is not potable for drinking. The walk to the beach is right down a couple flights of stairs and is a wonderful spot for beach bums looking to relax and get away for a while. Would definitely love to visit again! The apartment was clean and safe and the only "issue" we had was fitting food and goodies into the mini fridge, so you may have to use some origami skills to fit items in there, but it suited us well for two days. Thanks so much!

The apartment was clean and well stocked. The listing was accurate. Set up made the place seem roomier than I expected. Patrick, the host, was very responsive, kind, and friendly. Offered suggestions and assistance. Had good info available on things to do etc in the area. Parking was just outside the apartment and very convenient. We had a great view of the lake and could hear the waves when we opened the windows. We enjoyed our sister trip and would stay here again. Thanks for making this celebration of life and health great.

Patrick was great! Quick to communicate and accommodate in all the ways he can. This location is practically IN the Indiana Dunes State Park. So beautiful. The amenities are somewhat rustic and beachy and airy at the same time. I had the window open and listened to the wave ls the whole time I was there.
The steps to the beach are less than a stone’s throw from the accommodations. This is the amazing view as you walked over to the stairs.
I was there as a storm was slowly making its way in. This was the view on the beautiful walk I was taking!

We had trouble getting the lock to work on our arrival, but Patrick was able to assist us. The lock worked fine once we understood exactly how to operate it.The view was fantastic and sleeping to the sound of the surf was very relaxing. The space was a bit dusty but clean otherwise.

It was an amazing trip. This is a hidden gem. The view is killer. Parking and finding the home was easy. Getting in was easy. Communication with Patrick was steller. He took care of our every need. Listening to the waves crashing on the beach as we slept was tranquil. The firepit on the beach was a nice surprise. Having part of the private beach was unexpected and we loved it. The water so clear and warm. Plenty of linens and towels. The outside private seating area was so relaxing after our day at the beach. Check in and check out was so smooth. This was kinda off the grid and it was perfect for our getaway. Patrick had do many small personal touches on the place it felt so comfortable, lake life home. Restaurants and are plentiful once you go into town.

Very cute and clean property! Incredible location with a beautiful beach. My only complaint is that the walls are pretty thin, so you might hear the other guests. Otherwise it was amazing!

Patrick’s place is the most peaceful, lovely space. You can see and literally hear the waves of Lake Michigan from the room. We played scrabble, read books, enjoyed the beach and the quiet serenity of the area. Patrick is incredibly nice and so are his neighbors. I will be rebooking this summer!!
