We loved our stay. We rent quite a few houses a year and this was one of the cleanest. The check in and out were very simple. The owner was prompt with any questions.
The home was not horrible but there were some things that were misleading. We had 2 wheelchairs in the house and pictures appeared it would fine, but there was a step getting in and to the pool. The blinds to the lanai were very chincy and for being remodeled recently the shower had broken pieces. The pool was paid to be heated yet was cold. I get the temp outside was not the warmest, we should have felt a difference. There was not near enough hot water for a shower and cigarette butts around outside. The lake was beautiful and for being a high traffic area, the house was quiet.
The house was clean, but very under stock. If you have a family and not 2 people like we did, there wouldn't be enough towels. There was 2 towels in the one bathroom and 2 in the other bathroom. Only a couple of more in the linen closet, plus only like 3 wash clothes and maybe 3 to 4 hand towels in the house. They did have beach towels. The pool was nice, but very crowded with the furniture. We only had breakfast a couple of days ( cereal ), and no dinners, ate out every evening. If you are going to do any type of cooking there, make sure you bring all your condiments. We have rented homes from Home Away now VRBO probably 12 to 13 times, this one was just a little disappointing. Also if you love very firm beds you will love there beds. Unfortunately my hips aren't the greatest and had a hard time sleeping on them.
