Bienvenue à la Villa Vista del Mar (Vue sur la mer), fièrement gérée par les normes nord-américaines (Nasplaya). La Villa Vista del Mar se trouve à seulement 15 pas du sable blanc et doux de la mer des Caraïbes. Détendez-vous dans votre propre maison de plage spacieuse avec 4 chambres et 4 salles de bain complètes, 2 terrasses sur le toit et une piscine privée avec des chaises longues. Le premier étage de la maison abrite le salon principal avec salon et salle à manger, cuisine, buanderie et 3 chambres d'hôtes avec leur propre salle de bain. Le dernier étage est l'endroit où se trouve la suite principale ainsi que la terrasse sur le toit avec accès à la deuxième terrasse qui se trouve au 3ème niveau de la maison.

Great condo for our big blended family!

The condo met our needs with 5 “kids” between 15 and 24. A few things caused 4 instead of 5 stars for us. The pictures of the pool are definitely decieving. It’s a nice pool but it’s really just a little bigger than a normal sized hot tub. The daily wake up sounds of the backhoe tearing down the condo directly in front of us would have been nice to know about ahead of time. We might have preferred another place if possible to switch. Also, please double check the status of the Sargassum (seaweed) in the area before making plans. Especially if you are coming for the beach. It is really bad right now all along the beaches in the area.

Relaxing Vacation

The house is a perfect getaway. A clean, spacious, 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The beach is a two minute walk away. Playa del Carmen is a 10 minute walk away. North American Standards property management has it “dialed in”, they offered grocery shopping prior to our arrival saving us the hassle of shopping. Would/will stay here again!!!

Wonderful house just steps to the beach

We spent New Years here with 3 other couples and it was a great choice. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out with huge bedrooms, 2 terraces and your own private pool. There are many seating options. The kitchen and dining room worked out great and there is Weber BBQ grill just outside the front door which made grilling very easy. We watched the fireworks from the top terrace at midnight. Getting to the beach is so easy . Just a few steps and you are there. Very quite area and a great property for large groups!

Lovely house in superb location

This lovely house is situated in the very best part of Playa.......the Ritzy Playacar phase 2. It is set back one row from the beach, but two enormous terraces on the 2nd and 3 Rd floor give you lovely ocean views over to Cozumel. The rooms are enormas. The masterBR has a gorgeous brick vaulted ceiling and 2 of the others have twin double beds. Truly a great home to entertain your family and friends in style

Great family vacation

What a lovely home you have! We had a wonderful family vacation to Vista del Mar. Hired a chef to cook for us a few days. Spent a day at Xel Ha. loved it. The beach here was quiet and calm, just what we wanted. Thanks again.

Disappointing

One of the rooms had zero AC available, WIFI was almost non existent, refrigerator wasn't working the first day and ruined 2 dinners for us, and absolutely no hot water. We weren't created when we arrived by the management company known as North America Standards and Deborah who was out point person was very rude and dismissive over the phone. So in essence the experience was not good, but we had to make the most of it. I would never go back, Matt, when can we collect our deposit ?

This place is a castle. Lots of space, beautiful finishes and great location.

We were a family group of eight and it met our needs perfectly. Lots of space, bathrooms for everyone and a very short walk to the beach and the town. The neighborhood is beautiful and there are Mayan ruins just down the block!

Villa Vista Del Mar is a castle!

This was our first trip to Playa. We really enjoyed Villa Vista Del Mar. Staying here was the perfect way to get the feel of the area. We had our own rental van so we chose to do our own parking and site seeing without using tour services. Parking was easy and it is far enough away from busy city streets to feel simultaneously secluded and near everything. We were an extended family of 8 and the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and amount of living space was perfect for us. Plenty of room for the kids, two rooftop areas for getting away for the long view and a nice little pool in front. The beach is just down the street (either direction) and there are actually some interesting ruins right in the development! Hopefully we'll be booking again soon as I'm already missing it.

PLAYA DEL CARMEN, MEXICO ...A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!

Playa Del Carmen has perfect weather ,day and night. The people at North American Standard are absolutely fantastic to insure that your stay is perfect. The house is located in Phase One of Playa Car. It is a palm tree lined , inlaid brick pavement in a serene environment. This was our 3rd year there and we are already booked for 2018. The house is outstanding and well maintained, fully air conditioned and private pool. House keeping is included with the rental. All of the local Mexican are the most hospitable, friendly people one could hope to ever meet. The famous 5th ave is a 50 block avenue that parallels the Caribbean Sea the is lined with wonderful restaurants, shops and night clubs. It has a festive mood from mid day tll the wee hours of the morning and is extremely safe. Try it, you will be glad you did.

Beautiful home in a great location

This home was beautiful and just steps from the beach and minutes to many restaurants and shops. The wifi had difficulty working, and we weren't sure how to light the oven...but the manager was very responsive. We had plenty of room for our extended family to stay and loved all the private bathrooms. We would stay here again!

Paradise found

We just returned from a week stay at Vista del Mar and loved it. We traveled with my parents and my wifes parents. There were 8 of us in total. We loved the beach which was right out the door. We had dinner at the Casa del Agua one right and loved it.

Almost Perfect !

We are 4 couples in their 60's (Plus) who found the Villa to be as described and better. Close to town, 23 minutes walk to WalMart, and a short walk to the beach. It was clean, and the cleaning staff did a great job every time. The Pool was always clean and the water a nice temperature. We always had plenty of hot water for 8 of us to shower with lots of pressure. The furniture was very comfortable. The Management Company went out of their way to address some of the issues such as the ice maker not working (not sure if it is fixed yet), a noisy A/C that they fixed, a ceiling fan in the patio area (they had to order one) but not fixed while we were there. One of the managers was by to check on us almost every day and dealt with issues promptly as they came up. BBQ was great and I plan to buy one like it when mine wears out. There were no BBQ Utensils but the Manager brought some to us as soon as we mentioned it. All in all, we were very happy with renting Vista Del Mar and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. My suggestion to the owner is to check that all TVs are working in all the rooms and the cable is hooked up, The fan on the patio should be replaced asap, the A/C units need to be serviced to clean the filters to make them work efficiently, the Ice maker makes ice, the pool light bulb needs replacing, and a few more larger pots and frying pans for large groups such as ours for those who like to cook for a large number of people. Otherwise it was Great !

Vista del Mar

Had a wonderful time! Great location. Just a few steps to the beautiful white sandy beaches. The villa was very well maintained. We had plenty of room. We had 4 adults staying here and it could easily accommodate more. Just a ten minute walk to some of the best restaurants I've been to. The rooftop was beautiful. We spent many hours enjoying the beautiful view. I would highly recommend this pristine villa. We have just booked for another stay.

Fabulous home

This villas was much more impressive than I was expecting. It is very large with three separate deck lounging areas. There was between five and seven of us at any one time and we all had plenty of privacy if we wished. The four bathrooms are a bonus. The open concept kitchen, living and dining room made it easy for us to mingle when we wanted. The beach is just steps away and fifth avenue is about a ten minute walk, perfect for larger groups to come and go as you please. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing for a nice place to stay.

We moved from Boston to Playa del Carmen, Mexico in 2008 and we haven't looked back since. We came originally on vacation and saw the opportunity to open a successful property management company. Within 3 months of returning from vacation we had quit our jobs, sold everything (except our condo and car) and drove 4,500 miles from Boston to Playa with our 2 miniature schnauzers. We absolutely love Mexico. The food is fantastic - we eat out often, enjoying a variety of cuisines in one of a kind establishments, most of which are within walking distance of our condo. We have formed a large circle of friends, mostly retired expats, and even host Thanksgiving with usually more than 50 attendees! For Halloween a group of 20+ friends come over, all dressed in costume and we hit 5th Avenue and hand out candy to all the children. It is the most fun day of the entire year! When we are not working, Matt enjoys working out, reading, playing bridge, cooking gourmet meals and visiting the beach.
