Une vue imprenable dans notre confortable maison de montagne

Notre maison Crested Butte offre une vue imprenable depuis son emplacement en face de Crested Butte Mountain, vous permettant de regarder tous les événements à la base de la montagne depuis votre propre retraite privée. Situé à 5 minutes à pied de l'arrêt de bus et à 10 minutes de la base de la montagne, notre maison dispose de quatre chambres privées et d'un grenier, permettant à jusqu'à 11 personnes de dormir confortablement, tandis que quatre salles de bain complètes vous garantissent de ne jamais avoir à partager une salle de bain avec plus de deux autres personnes.

Notre maison offre une escapade privée pour les amis, les familles, les couples et tous ceux qui veulent rester près de la base de la montagne. L'arrêt de la navette gratuite est à seulement 5 minutes à pied en descente (il circule toutes les heures en hiver), et les ascenseurs, restaurants et magasins de la base sont à seulement 10 minutes à pied de la porte d'entrée.

Notre maison est entièrement meublée pour que vous et votre famille / amis puissiez passer votre temps à profiter de Crested Butte plutôt que de vous soucier de votre hébergement. Voici quelques trucs géniaux sur notre maison:

-Moins de 10 minutes à pied de la base de la montagne et navette gratuite pour la ville de Crested Butte.

- Une vue imprenable sur Crested Butte Mountain, Whetstone Mountain et down valley. Il n'y a absolument aucun meilleur endroit à Crested Butte pour profiter du paysage de montagne.

- Notre maison dispose de quatre chambres privées, d'une mezzanine et de quatre salles de bain complètes, vous assurant de ne jamais avoir à partager une salle de bain avec plus de deux autres personnes.

- Grand salon à aire ouverte avec plusieurs sièges pour vous assurer qu'il y a beaucoup de place pour que tout le monde dans votre groupe se détende.

- une télévision par câble et une connexion Internet haut débit sans fil

-Bureau à domicile dédié pour vous permettre de travailler pendant vos vacances.

-Loft à deux lits dans la salle des médias qui fait un endroit parfait pour les enfants (ou les enfants de cœur) pour rester.

Amazing property and views!

This location is perfect for a getaway to enjoy the mountains. The views are unbeatable. Location is perfect for trails and to stay away from the bustle of downtown. House was super clean. We cooked all of our dinners in the kitchen. We will definitely come back to stay here again. Highly recommend.

Home with a View!!

This home was spectacular in every way, from the stunning view, to exquisite design details, to the ample space for 6 adults. The kitchen had all the accoutrements for cooking elaborate meals, even a pie. The host was wonderful in his ongoing communication with us. I think the home was even more beautiful than the photos.

Our 5 night stay while skiing went great. The home's layout was good, the view was great, and the location to ski slopes was very good. The owners communicated well throughout the process. Would stay there again!

12 Morning Glory Way Crested Butte

Best view of any mountain house we have stayed and just one block away there is a 360 view as good as most hikes. There were 9 of us-4 adults and 5 teenagers/children. The house lay out was perfect for the kids-really liked the office/bedroom and the game/bedroom and the loft. The hosts were very responsive to any questions before and during the stay. Close to Crested Butte and most hikes.

Gorgeous Views of Crested Butte

We had the most amazing time celebrating a friends birthday at this home! The amazing views of the mountain and town made relaxing so easy. The large deck was the perfect spot to watch the Perseid meteor shower from too! Steve and Larry were wonderful hosts, with great local recommendations.

Roomy with Beautiful Views

Our early June visit did not disappoint! The home is very spacious and well appointed to accommodate everyone’s needs. Great access to town as well as a perfect launch for multiple hikes when we had downtime from wedding activities. The owners provided detailed information in a printed book and also with correspondence in advance. In addition to check in/check out guidance, they provided valuable recommendations for restaurants and activities as well as contacts for local transportation services. We lacked for nothing during our stay and only wish it could have been longer!

Amazing house!!

This house is beautiful, spacious, and very clean. We had a group of 9 and had plenty of space. It has incredible views of the mountain and is in an amazing location. We used the first tracks app to get free shuttles too and from the mountain each day, which was very convenient. Steve and Larry were great hosts and super helpful- they even alerted us of a storm coming through that would impact our drive from Denver. Would definitely come back and highly recommend staying here!!

Great place in Mt CB

We had a fantastic time in CB and the house was great! Very spacious, comfortable beds, and the kitchen was well stocked. It was nice to be in Mt. CB as it was quiet. The view from the living room and deck were spectacular. The communication with Steve and Larry from booking through check-out was great as well.

Amazing Home!

Hosts of the house were great to us. Don't be overwhelmed by their contract process to stay at their wonderful house, it's well worth it. Our group had an amazing time getting together @ Steve & Larry's CB property.

Spectacular Views!

We traveled with another family (9 total) for a ski trip and stayed in this lovely home. Views were stupendous, beds were comfortable, everyone had room to spread out and the kitchen was full size so we were able to make meals for 9 every night. There is a new transportation system to the mountain called First Tracks. It is like taking an uber to and from the mountain resort for free. We had a great time and will most certainly return!

Large beautiful home with amazing view. Plenty of room for 7 single adults. Property management was easy to reach and always ready to help. Only complaint is that some of the cookware needs to be replaced. Would definitely stay here again.

Mountain Vacation

Wow 360 views of the mountain, as my dad stated, I cannot believe I am sleeping in the mountains! Spacious comfortable home, main level allowed us all to enjoy time together without being cramped. Easy access to the chairlifts and epic skiing! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

A time in paradise

The poperty is very well kept and clean. Its in a nice location close to town to where you can walk or take the bus. The view from the both balconies are just jaw dropping. Everything in the house worked perfectly and was up to date. The next time I vacation here I would want to stay here again!!!!

Beautiful home with beautiful views

Property was better than expected. We would definitely do it again. We skied for the week of spring break and being at the top of the hill overlooking the mountain after a day of skiing was fantastic. The walk to the resort was doable, but if you are not into that much effort, the parking was resonable and made it easy getting to the slopes. We had a wonderful time and would strongly recommend this property. Steve and Larry were great hosts, responsive, and easy to communicate with.

Nice house, great location, seems a little tired

Pros: - The location is second to none. You wake up every morning with a great view of the mountain. - Space, large space for our family and kids. - Use of garage, many rental homes don't have this as an option. Cons: The house seemed a little tired, I'm guessing it's been a long term rental. - Windows: Many of the windows in the house don't have screens, so during the nights when we needed to cool down the house the bugs would come in. Additionally, the windows would have a hard time closing, we would have to go outside to push them closed. - Some basic things missing or broken: ex, handle to outside door on deck, toilet paper holder in a bathroom, etc. We made the owner aware of these things upon arrival and the response was "it will get put in the winter checklist". Strange to use that some of these basic things were missing or broken. Also, kitchen seemed to be a smattering of things without a home. Perhaps some basic cabinet organization or labeling would help the next guests. Some pots in the kitchen were not usable as the Teflon was coming off. Overall, a solid 4!

Beware -- Hosts May Charge for Unfounded Damages & Extra Cleaning

Document every detail of the home you rent, especially this one. Long story short, after our 2-day stay, the hosts attempted to charge us $675 for extra “cleaning” and “damages” that we did not do. Background: -Several issues existed w/ the house upon arrival, which we opted to not contact the host about as we did not want to deal with it. There was leftover food in the fridge, 1 ripped/stained bed sheet , the garage had a horrible smell & the fridge in the garage had black mold. When we arrived for check-in, the cleaning lady was still working, and she didn’t finish. The laundry room was left w/ damp & dirty towels/linens. -While we couldn’t find checkout instructions (later we learned where we could have found them), we left a few overflow items. Our trash was in a few bags left in the kitchen, bc the garage smell was unbearable. After checkout, we were accused of countless things. I asked the hosts why they were unhappy. They simply said we were “the worst guests they had ever had” and they were filing a claim through VRBO for damages. I was taken aback because we had not damaged the house at all. They would not allow me to return to get vases we left behind (which belonged to a small local business owner). -They compiled a list of “damages”– a broken ottoman (we had a picture upon arrival showing it was already broken) and a broken window screen (not us.) They sent us pics of everything they considered unacceptable, including: a single q-tip on a nightstand and 1 cup of water on a nightstand, etc. They watched 48 hours of ring camera footage to count how many people went in & out of the house. 8 of us stayed at the house. Several people came over but didn’t sleep there. They accused us of having extra guests sleep. It is legal to watch their own camera footage, but this felt like a huge violation of privacy. -They then charged us $675 to account for “extra cleaning.” the broken window screen, (we already paid a $250 cleaning fee), and everything else they found to be an issue. They charged a higher rate for their own cleaning than what they pay their own cleaner – saying it took 5 hrs - $375 total. We ultimately asked them to file a claim through VRBO, knowing that $675 total in damages was absurd and wouldn’t hold water. If considering staying here, take pictures 360 degrees of every room you are staying in, prepare yourselves for the hosts to watch you through a camera and attempt to charge you extra for anything they want.

Now, 5 years later, we are embarking on a new journey with this spectacular single family home overlooking Crested Butte Mountain to use as our second home and part-time vacation rental. We love introducing new people to Crested Butte, and are looking forward to welcoming you to our home.

When we first walked into this house, we knew we wanted to make it our forever home. The views are absolutely fantastic, and the location cannot be beat. We think you'll agree that there is no better place to stay on the mountain.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We fell in love with this house first because of the views of Crested Butte Mountain, Whetstone Mountain, and the Gunnison Valley. We never get tired of sitting on the deck and taking in the amazing views. We also love how our home is so close to all of the activity at the mountain base area, yet removed from the hustle and bustle of a busy ski resort. We are a short 10 minute downhill walk from the base, yet when you are at the house you are truly in your pwn private retreat. It is the best of both worlds in our opinion!
