The living room/kitchen/dining room are on the small side for the 7 people we had in our group, but it was manageable. That's the only minor drawback I have to this place! It was clean, the location is great! Walkable to the beach, restaurants, playground, carousel, shops, everything! It was clean and comfortable with a well supplied kitchen and laundry room. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

This property is absolutely stunning, very clean, amazing location, no odors, pet friendly, multiple bedrooms with comfy beds. The host Amy responds promptly and is super helpful. You’re a quick walk to coffee shops, restaurants, site seeing airplanes, the beach. The AC works so well too and having access to an oversized garage is awesome too, especially if you have bikes or anything to store. The location was quiet too.

This property is adorable! The location is excellent for walking to the lake and all the shops downtown. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Inside and outside was very well kept and homey. My only recommendation is having a regular coffee maker vs a Keurig (or provide pods for guest). I hate the way Keurigs taste, so it forced me to walk to one of the many local coffee shops, which I actually enjoyed :). I will absolutely come back to this property on my next visit.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was fantastic—just a short walk to downtown Coeur d’Alene, which made it easy to enjoy the shops, restaurants, and lake without having to drive. The house was clean, stocked with everything we needed, and the host was responsive and quick to answer any questions.A few things would have made our stay even better: having more towels available, blackout curtains in the bedrooms, a mirror for downstairs and an additional shower for larger groups. Those were minor inconveniences, though, and didn’t take away from our overall experience.We would recommend this property and would stay again!

My husband and I, son and DIL and 2 granddaughters were in town for a wedding. The house is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood and super walkable to the waterfront (great playground, shops, restaurants), Trader Joe's, etc. House was very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed and more. Big pantry for storing your own food. We all wished we could have stayed longer! Lots of parking in driveway and on the street.

We loved our stay here! We could walk to town (what a treat). We have family who live in Coeurd’Alene and there was room for 6 of us to have a very comfortable dinner together. The weather wasn’t warm enough to eat outside, but if it had been there is plenty of room for that. And a nice BBQ setup that we didn’t use, but that is very convenient.The kitchen is very well supplied with nice dishes and new cooking utensils and pots and pans. The laundry facility is excellent. We found the beds to be very comfortable!The garage is empty and a wonderful place to put your car or bikes if you have them.I want to return ASAP!

We ended up staying here after our original reservation became unavailable, and we’re glad we did. The hosts were very accommodating and helped us find a space that would work for our larger group on short notice.The home was cute, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with extras like games and everything we needed to prepare meals. The location was great—just a short walk to the park, waterfront, restaurants, and shopping. The area was fairly quiet, and having available parking was a nice bonus. The beds were comfortable, and we had a very pleasant stay overall.We had seven people and a dog in our group, and while the home accommodated us, it did feel a little tight at times—especially in the dining area. That said, if you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the area or eating out, it likely wouldn’t be an issue. Overall, it was a great stay in a convenient location.

Thank you Carrie. We appreciate your comments & happy you enjoyed your stay overall. Unfortunately, we are not able to increase the dining area size as it’s just a small breakfast nook. Perhaps I can provide a few more chairs or TV trays for additional seating & better language in the home description to address the space offering in greater detail.

The house is in a good location - within walking distance of Sherman Ave and the park. If you are allergic to cats, this is not the house for you. Upon arrival, the small of cats was quite strong...nearly intolerable in the basement. The sofa was covered in cat hair. We covered it with a sheet to avoid cat hair all over our clothes. The shower/tub would not drain and took several hours to repair. The plumber finished at 10:30pm. We were refunded one night but only after requesting it.

Hi there. I’m so sorry to see this. To my knowledge we’ve never had cats in the home. They are not permitted. The drain was something that was out of our control & I had a plumber there immediately to fix it. It is an older home & downtown CDA has many trees that can cause plumbing issues. The one night refund was always going to be offered, I just needed to get approval from the owner first. From our communication, I thought we were satisfied as we were able to remedy the situation. I wish you had said something to me about the cat hair & smell. I have never encountered that. We were also able to extend your stay for the additional nights that you requested. I apologize you were not completely satisfied.

This is probably the ultimate Cottage. It is super clean, has everything you need, appliances are new, pet friendly and super comfortable. You definitely can walk to pretty much everything. Parking is also perfect, off the street or even the garage. There is also plenty of room for extra luggage storage or pantry items should you stay longer. We most definitely recommend this Garden Cottage and hope to come back some time.

Quaint house in good location and walkable to water area and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable.Unfortunately, we had issues that couldn't be fixed until after we left. The host, Amy, was readily available and indicated the house was old, it had been a long rental season and she wasn't aware of issues until we brought them to her attention. Issues were: batteries low and needing replaced in A/C control (once we provided battery information a handyman came and replaced them), window blinds in both main level bedrooms were missing slats and/or did not work so we had to put towels around them to keep people from seeing in, hall bathroom sink barely drained and handyman tried to fix it but couldn't so we had to wait for that sink to drain to be able to use it again, kitchen sink water filter sprayed water all over due to a crack so we had to clean up water sprayed all around kitchen and the hall bathroom door knob came off with one of us in the bathroom. Fortunately, another guest was able to put it back together in order to get the person out of bathroom. Amy was always quick to respond and indicated all issues would be fixed after we left. Amy definitely took her role seriously and indicated issues were addressed when she was made aware of them.There was no apology to us for the various issues and inconveniences and no refund offered.

4 bedroom, plenty of room for our group of 4 golfers. Great location!! Only thing it was missing was a 2nd shower (master bathroom had a big soaker tub). Made for some coordinating in the mornings
