Ferme sur la ferme active

Ce n'est pas une destination ordinaire. Ferme Avondale Hills, ferme est située sur 41 acres de belles terres agricoles vallonnées. Nous hébergeons des poulets (qui courent), des chèvres, des vaches, des lapins et une ferme hydroponique verdoyante. Il s'agit d'une destination éducative où l'interaction à la ferme permet aux clients de faire partie de la vie à la ferme.

Entièrement rénové avec toutes les finitions haut de gamme, salle de théâtre, café, grande salle et cuisine avec table de 12 pieds et foyer. Vue imprenable sur le sommet de la colline et grange jusqu'à l'étang alimenté par une source.

Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain avec 2 lavabos. Les chambres pour enfants / jeunes adultes disposent d'une baignoire. Chaque chambre est équipée d'un téléviseur Ultra 4K de 55 pouces.

La salle de théâtre est équipée d'un projecteur HD. 2 foyers au gaz créent de la chaleur et de l'ambiance de façon saisonnière.

Toute l'année, nous avons un bain à remous de 115 personnes pour 7 personnes.

La piscine est disponible entre le 15 mai et le 21 septembre.

Perfect house for our gathering of sisters, nieces and family friends from 4 states. The 5 bedrooms with private bathrooms really made for a relaxing experience. Highly recommend the property!

House was gorgeous, top to bottom. Movie room, extensive game collection and bunk rooms were a big hit with the kids. Location was perfect - property felt remote but was super close to restaurants / stores

Perfect for multi-generational families!

The Farm House was spacious, clean, & well-stocked with kitchen supplies, towels, linens, & games. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was so helpful for our 3 family, 3 generations group. There are fun attractions for children nearby, and also we were all content just to be on the farm with the pool, hot tub, yard, & of course animals! We will be back!

Celebration of Life

And one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life in having a VRBO. The property and home was gorgeous and full of perks. The total experience for my family in having a warm place to gather before and after my Mom’s Memorial during this holiday season will be filled with long-lasting memories. Farmhouse near Longwood Gardens

Very clean home with ample space for our multi-generational family. Beautiful lay out. Big kitchen and great theater room. Bathroom for every bedroom. Farmhouse decorated for Christmas which was super nice. Close to Longwood Gardens. Chickens and goats were cute. Even saw a red fox.

Wonderful Holiday Stay

This property was a uniquely wonderful set up for our family weekend! The property is situated at the top of a hill with a lovely vista on an active farm. Visiting the animals each day was a lovely bonus! Each bedroom having an en suite made life very easy for us all in getting ready and leaving on time to tour local attractions. The main floor of the home is well laid out for relaxing with a stunning kitchen and large media room. We had a great weekend and hope to return again. The hosts make the entire process very easy and comfortable. Five stars!

2nd Time, 2nd Charm

This was our second time staying as a family at the Farm during the holidays, and we loved it once again. I can't say enough about the beautiful space, the lovely holiday decor, the puzzles, the cleanliness, the kindness of the hosts, the convenience, and the fun of watching the chickens. We stayed during some horrible weather, and there were no issues whatsoever- we were all safe and warm. Thanks again!

Gorgeous House and Views! Loved All the Animals! Super Clean

My siblings, parents and our children took over this house for five days and loved every minute of it. You can’t beat rocking on the huge front porch, watching baby goats jump around, while the sun is setting. The house was plenty big enough for our large group and it was by far the cleanest house we’ve ever stayed in. Farmer John and Farmer Aaron take such great care of the property and of all the farm animals. They were so kind while answering all our questions about the farm. Thank you for a great visit!

Family Fun on the Farm

This home was as pictured, thoughtfully decorated and exceptionally clean. There was more than enough room for our group of 11. The kitchen is an exceptional space for family meals and game nights and the front porch rockers were a great place to relax an d enjoy the view. The kids emjoyed the entertainment provided in the theater room. The pool was kept clean and was a great way to entertain the kids and adults on those hot summer days. The hosts were very responsive to our questions needs and Farmers John and Aaron were so generous in sharing their knowledge of the farm and its resident animals. All in all, a wonderful family vacation.

Farmstay

We had a wonderful time on the farm in Avondale, PA. Farmers Pierre and Aaron manage a lovely property with adorable animals and fragrant lavender. They were busy working the farm, but quick to answer and tend to anything that came up on our stay. We found the farm house very clean and comfortable for the twelve of us (6 adults and 6 kids). The front porch, kitchen, theatre room and pool allowed us to gather and thoroughly enjoy our family time together. Farmer Aaron gave us a tour of the farm and we found him to be very informative. The kids loved learning about the animals and having the opportunity to hold, pet and feed them. The location was perfect for a couple of kid excursions - Thomas the Train and Sesame Place. We had a fabulous week and made memories that will last a lifetime. Many thanks to Farmer Pierre and Farmer Aaron.

Amazing property!

We stayed at the farm with our adult children, their spouses and our 3 grandchildren. The house is gorgeous, spacious, and very clean! We loved the pool, hot tub and relaxing on the beautiful porch. Farmer Pierre's communication was clear and informative. We all loved the seeing and visiting the animals. Definitely take the Farm tour! Farmer Aaron was gracious, informative and let the kids pet all the animals. They absolutely loved it. Everyone is still talking about the baby goats. Farmer John took time out of his day to talk with us and answer questions. They are all made the experience so unique and wonderful. We made unforgettable memories at the Farm. Check out Longwood Gardens - it's definitely worth a visit.

Great farm stay

We stayed here as a group of 4 families with young children for a week. The property fit us all easily, and having a bathroom with every bedroom was so nice. Everything was impeccably clean, and the kitchen has all the pots and pans and so on that you’d need. There’s a beautiful view off the front porch, with a ton of space for kids to run around on the grass. We arrived end of June, so the pool was quite cool when we arrived but after a few days it warmed up and was blissful. The large dining space was critical for our big group, and the dining chairs for adults were super comfy. This was important because there wasn’t a couch, so we spent most of our time around the dining table. There’s a movie theater room that fits 6, and a living room with another 6 or so chairs. They have tons of movies and even some video games. The farm tour was really nice, and the kids loved going to see the goats and feed the pigs every morning. Highly recommend this house!!

Magical farmhouse! Thanks for the memories!

The farmhouse was a dream house! It was so beautiful and felt like a true getaway with our extended family. The selling point of the home was the huge dining area attached to the kitchen with a massive island (my mother-in-law kept saying how much she loved the dining table). Loved the lighting that would come in daily to brighten up the home. All the beds were incredibly comfortable - in fact, better than the mattress I sleep on. The bathrooms are nicely renovated. I just love the whole style of the home - it's my style. We also used the hot tub outside, which was nice - I haven't really used one in the past. The best part of our magical experience at the farmhouse was the farm tour with Farmer Aaron. My young children loved the baby goats, pigs, chickens, and the guardian dogs and were obsessed with the bunnies. Farmer Aaron was so friendly and patient with our large group, and that made our overall impression of our wonderful memory making experience at the farmhouse. I would love to come back here in the future!

Wonderful stay on the farm

Our family group of 8 adults and 3 preschool age kids had great experience. The house is exactly as pictured, clean and well maintained, stocked with many games and toys. Everyone enjoyed the home theater, pool, and the farm tour - don't skip the farm tour it is absolutely worth the small extra cost! Centrally located near attractions in Kennett Square, Chadds Ford, Wilmington and there is even a small zoo in Maryland about 20 minutes away.

We loved staying at Avondale farm. Farmer Aarons walking tour was fun and so informative. Our grandkids got to hold a goat and several types of rabbits The house was beautiful, and comfortable.

Family week

We chose the Avondale property for something different from the usual 3 generation beach house family vacation. This property was great for us. The pool was much nicer than what we expected from the pictures and was a highlight of the trip. The farm tour was great. The bedrooms and baths were top notch. Kids loved the media room. The front porch was great for starting our day with tea and coffee and ending it with lawn games. The kitchen was a large gathering place and had everything we needed for large family meals. The only downside was the size of the oven which seemed quite small. A six-burner range with a divided oven beneath. One side about 15 inches? and the other side smaller. The property is beautiful and in an idyllic setting. There isn't a ton to do in the area, but we made day-trips to the trains in Strasburg, Longwood Gardens, West Chester for shopping and dining, a Phillies game and the Turkey Hill factory tour. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Wonderful Holiday Family Reunion

We had a wonderful Christmas/family reunion on the farm. We wanted a beautiful spacious home with a chance to have separate bathrooms in case we had to isolate (which we didn't- yeah!) and the farmhouse was incredible. Farmer Aaron and Pierre were wonderful and helpful with advice and troubleshooting. And we really enjoyed watching the incredibly quiet chickens over breakfast.

Beautiful working Farm house

This Farm house was beautiful!! Plenty of space for all of us inside the house. Our grandchildren loved the farm animals and outside area to play. The Holiday decorations were a nicely added touch to an already beautiful home. We will definitely be back!
