Family va-cay

We had a great trip. This house was great for our group. The layout is nice and we loved sitting outside on the patio. The only issue we had was the smoke detector randomly went off at 1am and nearly scared us all to death. We would stay here again.

PERFECT: Tennis Getaway in Sea Pines

The location and house amenities were exactly what we needed for the weekend. Even though the kitchen and bathrooms are dated everything worked and the house has a lot of space for 8 adults sharing the house.

Home is in a perfect location and has a ton of room. It needs some updating but the price is a bargain for this area. The only reason I give this three stars is that every bed is rock hard. It is very hard to enjoy a stay when no one in your party can get a good rest. We all struggled to sleep each night because of the quality of the mattress, they are all very hard.

Great Stay!

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood, convenient to all of the Sea Pines amenities. The roomy house is clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the private, screened porch. The beach chairs and bikes are a great extra! Our entire family (ages 12-87) had a wonderful stay.

Had lots of good times

House is very spacious and in a good location. When we arrived we killed approximately 15 spiders. So would recommend pest spray treatment. House needs updating but is priced fairly. We had lots of good times!

Family finally in one place

We finally got the entire family on vacation: four different family units (3 sons) in one house for the week....in a place where everyone could do their thing - beach, bike, boat, relax - with their own bedroom and full bath and a huge family room/kitchen that allowed us to enjoy meals and time together. Aside from some dated appliances in the kitchen, hard to beat the value this place offers for a group.

Our stay was amazing. The home was great with plenty of room for all of us. A huge amenity was the 4 bikes! The home is located in a very peaceful area, as Sea Pines is always a delight to visit. Thank you for giving my family this choice!

This house was perfect for our needs. The walkways and space around the bexs were bigger than expected. Having everything on the vrohnd level was a key need for our family due to a member with limited mobility. Had a wonderful stay in a beautiful community.

Family vacation

The property was large and fit our family of seven nicely. It was well equipped if somewhat rundown. The air conditioning broke but was quickly repaired. The refrigerator leaked and we had to place a towel under the door. The house could use some tlc but was overall a very nice place to stay.

Nice House for Getaway with our pup!

This house was nice and worked for our Spring Break getaway with our dog. It is in a good location and easy to get to the beach and other places within Sea Pines. It was much bigger than we thought it was from the pictures and was set up nice so you have 2 two-bedroom wings of the house separate from one another. Would be good setup for 2 families so each one would have their space. There are new floors throughout which was nice and easy to sweep up when sand was tracked in from the beach. Overall, it's a nice house.

The house was very nice and comfortable. In a lovely neighborhood and close access to the beach by bike. So appreciate the use of the bikes provided. The porch furniture could use cleaning but it was too hot to sit out during our trip. Thank you for letting us rent from you!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at this home! The property is beautiful and spacious. The fact that bikes and extra chairs were provided were a great plus. The walk to the beach was about 8-10 min, but obviously faster if you're on a bike. I do agree with some other reviews about the cleanliness of the home but that wasn't a deal breaker for us.

Great vacation!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in Sea Pines. This house was perfect for a group 7. The layout of the house was perfect and the location was fantastic. 5 minute bike ride to the beach! We rode all around Sea Pines and saw so much wildlife! The beach chairs and bikes were a huge bonus and we used them daily. The kitchen was well equipped. The house was pretty clean-a few spider webs but over all not bad. Our only real issue was the beds and bedding. All of the beds were very uncomfortable (hard) and the bedding was very uncomfortable. A few extra pillows and blankets would have been nice. Island Rental was very helpful and quick to respond. I would definitely use them again!

It was tricky to find after dark since the address provided takes you to the side of the house that has no door (sits on a corner).Could use a little maintenance around ceiling air ducts in the living rooms.

Review of 1 Deer Run Lane from 7/22/23-7/29/24

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival it was evident that the grounds needed attention and in fact while I was there the HOA advised the owner to spread Pine needles on the entire property as required.1st day- AC not operating. Outside temps 95-100 degrees.Contacted manager and AC repair came within 1-2 hrs.The same evening my family discovered sand in the sheets under the quilt indicating the home was not properly & thoroughly cleaned.Cleaning crew returned to change sheets and clean. In full disclosure the cleaning fee was credited back to me.The home, particularly the kitchen & bathrooms have not been updated for decades. The kitchen appliances were dated, 70 or 80’s, and broken appliances were left in place. The cabinets were extremely dated.When questioned about it management stated that the only reason pets are allowed and the price was so low (approx 6k with fees) was because it was not updated. Island Rentals as the owners agent should request updating and select better cleaning crew services.

Basic, well located

We were two couples who stayed for 1 month. The house is a very basic house, not luxurious, but very well located with easy walks to the beach and short drives to everywhere else in Sea Pines. We loved its location and surrounding neighborhood.During our first week, we had problems with one toilet that required 3 visits from a plumber to fix, but the rental agent was very responsive to our phone calls and the plumber showed up promptly. The house was very clean on arrival, and the kitchen, baths, and bedding were all perfectly cleaned. The house itself is very spacious and comfortable, but could use some updates. In particular, upholstered furniture is very worn, and the kitchen could use some TLC. (We brought our own Keurig coffee maker, and had to buy a corkscrew because none was available, worked around the kitchen cabinet that was falling off it hinges, and used a lot of elbow grease before using the grill, lol.)If you are looking for a good location and a comfortable and spacious — but basic — house, 1 deer run lane totally works.
