The listing said sleeps 10 but that included using couches. Dirty dishes in dishwasher, dirty towel hanging in the bathroom, lack of soap in showers and watered down soap on bathroom sinks. No clear instructions on use of TV and no response when called for instructions. No toaster Fixing these things will certainly improve the renters experience. Thank you.
The host showed zero empathy by not letting us cancel the reservation when there was a huge storm on the weekend and they seem to not care. Not only they wouldnât give any money back, but we couldnât even choose a new date to reschedule. We ended up making arrangements to go on the date that worked out better to them, like if we lived ten minutes away from the house and it was something to do. But we did it in the end so we wouldnât lose our money. What do we find when we get to the place? 1. The hot tub wasnât working: we had to spend around three hours trying to fix it since all the help we received was the host sending us videos on YouTube. Iâm sorry but we are not technicians, thatâs not our job.2. We wanted to try to use the grill too, but the roof was leaking all the snow that was melting from the deck. The deck was covered in snow and we had to shovel and clean it up so it would stop leaking. Not our job either, like: were you not expecting us to use the deck either?3. All that work for nothing, because we came to find that the grill was all dirty and we would have had to clean it to use it as well.4. We couldnât even use the ping pong table or the billiards since the garage was OVERFLOWING with trash bags. We couldnât stand the smell and we had to go back inside.It was overall a terrible experience and it kind of feels like if anything we should be the ones charging you. We expected everything to be working smoothly since we agreed to all of your terms.
