Welcome to our newly renovated house in the Bear Paw community on Lake Hiwassee located just 25 minutes from Murphy, NC. The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with a 1/2 bath just off the main living area. You can park 4-5 vehicles and walk only a few feet to the house. The views off the decks and from the house are beautiful.

This is a Smoke Free and Pet Free house. We do offer Fiber Optic WiFi and if you have Verizon cell service you will have better coverage. There are smart Tv's in the 2 living spaces and in the 3 bedrooms. We have games and puzzles for any rainy day afternoon. There is an upper and lower deck for sitting and enjoying the amazing water views and you have a newly built set of steps to walk to the water where you have a floating dock to swim or if you bring your own boat or decide to rent a pontoon you are able to tie to the dock as well.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has all new appliances with an island that seats 4 and also a dining table that seats 6. The kitchen and living space are all open with great views and easy access. There is a grill on the upper deck.

The bedrooms all have their own full bathroom. The upstairs bedroom has a king bed with a 2 sink vanity and a walk in shower. One of the bedrooms downstairs has a queen bed with a single vanity and tub/shower combo. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds (twin on top of a double bed and a twin trundle) with a walk in shower. There is a laundry room with full size W/D and an extra refrigerator if needed. The hot water is a tankless system so you will not run out of hot water. There is a living area upstairs with a gas fireplace for the winter months and a living area downstairs with large sectional.

Bear Paw is a private gated community which offers amenities for the whole family. Tennis court, basketball court, pickle ball court, volleyball, a catch and release fishing pond, large swimming pool, covered pavilion, and a children's playground.

Lake Hiwassee is one of the deepest TVA lakes at over 200 feet deep in places and is 22 miles long has over 160 miles of shoreline. It is part of the Nantahala National Forest covering over 6,000 acres. It is truly one of the most pristine and beautiful lakes in the surrounding area. Bear Paw is one of only 3 developed areas on the lake, which results in less boating traffic and lots of areas to play and explore.

Mountain View Marina is located inside of Bear Paw and is a full service marina with a ramp, gas, basic groceries, pontoon rentals, etc. You can go on their website to see all that they offer.
Harbor Cove Marina is located a mile or so from the Bear Paw entrance and has ramp, gas and rentals.

Just 25 minutes away is Murphy, NC. It is a quaint little town, with good food, breweries and a casino just 5 miles north of town. There are hiking trails and the Ocoee River is 40 minutes away for great rafting. Murphy has a Walmart, Lowes and an Ingles for any of your needs.
