I am never a person to leave a bad review or "ruin" someones reputation but it has came to the point where I feel obligated to share my opinion. Starting positive, the host is amazing at answering messages, the property and home is a great location, has an amazing layout, and sleeps a lot of people. I understand that this home is cheaper than most, but there is defiantly a price to pay on that. When we arrived the host left us a pile of dishes on the counter that we had to put away ourselves. There are cobwebs everywhere, spiders and ants among the home, black mold in all 3 showers, one shower hardly drains, the other does not get hot water whatsoever, the beds are rock solid, kitchen drawers had dead bugs in them. We tried to have a bbq the one night and it was falling apart, but we tried to still continue cooking on it, until the propane ran out about 5 minutes in, and shocker but the spares were empty after saying they were provided. Then we decided to move the tri tip to the oven, and at that point we found out that the exhaust fan did not work because it was so plugged, causing the smoke detector to go off the whole time cooking inside. So, we contacted the host regarding the issues, especially the black mold. The host said that if we cleaned the mold for him that he would give us 200 back. I wanted to just handle it with him, but after something like that it was clear to me I needed to let future stayers know my experience to help them make their decision.
