Spacious 5-bedroom house in South Asheville/Arden 4500sqft of fun, sleeps 10+

If you are looking for a beautiful and relaxing retreat in Asheville this is your place! We are minutes from the airport, shopping, Blue Ridge Parkway, great Breweries like Sierra Nevada, and Burial Brewing as well as a ton of great places to eat. This newly renovated and well appointed home is our third VRBO rental in Asheville and as 32 year local Asheville hosts. We chose this property for it's size and location but most importantly we love hosting large groups who appreciate being able to gather together but separate when they need to! We don't have flashy neon signs or a hot tub but we do have experience and premier host status. The house does have a double hoops game, air hockey and table tennis inside and a lovely private fenced yard with a fire pit and corn toss.

With three covered patio spaces, a chef's kitchen with huge granite countertops and dining table for 10, gathering for large group dining is not an issue. We also provide two portable cribs and a highchair for the little ones. Children under 2 years old are not included in the headcount for guests. Wifi is provided by Spectrum. There are 6 TV's for streaming your favorite shows when your day of hiking or tubing has you wanting a bit of couch time. The French Broad River is very close and we have loaner tubes for your group upon request. There are several put in spots very close to the house.

The kitchen features kitchen aid appliances,dishwasher, double oven/convection microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, and a Jenn-air downdraft cook top. Did I mention the huge kitchen island? This island is a fantastic gathering spot with seating for 6 while you prepare a lovely family meal. An additional full size refrigerator/freezer with ice maker is located in the lower level family room/game room area and allows for ample space to store overflow drinks and food. We provide all you need in the kitchen to serve a family meal at Christmas or Thanksgiving, and the kitchen island is a great place to roll out those Christmas cookies!

The house has a two car garage for guests to use and has a large circle driveway that can hold 6 cars. We have two gas fireplaces, one on each level of the house in the common areas. The King suite also features an electric free standing fireplace.

There are many gathering areas in the house. Our favorite spot is the lounge just beside the kitchen, with a cozy fireplace and conversational seating its a great place to have coffee and plan your day or unwind after a meal with a glass of wine or bourbon. Be sure to check out Two Trees Distilling in Fletcher, its only an 8 minute drive(2.7miles) and well worth it :)

We are approximately 2.9 miles from AVL airport, 2.4 miles from Aldi and Ingles grocery stores, .75 miles from the ABC store where one can purchase spirits in the state of NC, and 8.6 miles from the Biltmore house. If you are interested in Biltmore House tickets we can help you get those at a discount as well. Sierra Nevada is 5.6 miles away, and Zen Tubing is 6.7 miles away. There is an indoor trampoline park called Launch about 2 miles from the house and Wolverine Paintball 7.7 miles away for those seeking an adrenaline adventure.Hiking is all around, You can go as far as you like or just take a scenic drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and blow your mind with the beauty of mountains. Stop for lunch at the Pisgah View Inn. Take the best photo ever with your friends and family atop our mountains and then explore the trails. Its a bucket list item. You must do it.
