Nestled along the shores of the Turtle Flambeau Flowage, The Hunter’s Den is a cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin designed for couples or small family seeking a peaceful Northwoods retreat. This charming cabin offers rustic charm with modern comforts, including a hickory kitchen, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV. The cabin accommodates up to three guests, featuring a queen bed and a double futon bed for additional sleeping arrangements.

Step outside to enjoy the private boat dock, perfect for fishing or relaxing by the water. The Hunter’s Den is conveniently located on both snowmobile and ATV trails, providing easy access to outdoor adventures year-round.

Mercer is a four-season destination with something for everyone. In the warmer months, enjoy fishing, kayaking, ATV/UTVing, or boating on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage, just steps from your cabin. Hike scenic trails at nearby MECCA Trails or explore waterfalls and wildlife throughout the region. Fall brings brilliant foliage and peaceful hikes, while winter transforms the area into a snowy playground—perfect for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and ice fishing. The cabin sits right on direct snowmobile and ATV trail access, making it an ideal base for cold-weather fun.

When you're ready to relax, head to the on-site Gateway Lodge restaurant and bar, open year-round for hearty meals and friendly conversation (Call bar for updated hours Nov-Dec and March-May as hours are subject to change). You’ll also find boat rentals to ensure a fun, comfortable, memorable stay.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
