Stayed for a weekend FSU game. Did not expect a palace, just a clean and functional place. It was a mess, but you are stuck with game tickets so just dealt with it. The communication below is what I sent the host. No reply. No VRBO support because I didn't cancel immediately. I have stayed in 10-11 VRBOs with no issues.Below outlines the main issues. I would not stay here until the owner makes significant changes.Hi Mr. Spencer:I did not want to address this with you until I had a chance to calm down and get some perspective.No, sorry, we did not enjoy our stay.These are the issues that we experienced while there.- there is an odor of moth balls or mold or something that makes it difficult to tolerate.- the house is infested with ticks (I am in the animal health industry) and our dog was infested upon arriving - she was treated, so the ticks died but it was a major issue- two of my guests had to leave after the first night because of these issues - staying at the local Motel 6 nearby- the place was generally dirty, dusty, disorganized- most of the outlets did not hold a plug (it would go in and work, but it would not hold the plug!)- There was a person living above us - and that was not disclosed - we heard him walking around and it was loud- Neither of the shower heads worked properly- the shower, bathtub tiling was falling off and cracked nearly everywhere- none of the linens smelled like they had been washed (odor of mildew)- the TV was a joke - none of the
