Overall we enjoyed the property. The location is perfect with a 7 minute walk to the Vail Gondola and 15 minute walk to Lionshead if you want the exercise instead of taking the free shuttle that has a stop 30 feet away from the condo.
The condo is dated but charming. Old appliances and cookware but everything worked. The beds were comfortable. Could have used more blankets in the room with twin beds. It was great that it included parking as we had a rental car.
This was perfect for my family. The location is amazing, right in the village, near the shuttle stop and everything. Parking is included in garage which was a plus. Condo was clean and perfect size for my family. Pool and hot tub were great. Overall very happy with our choice. One small note: in the listing it says there is a pull out couch, but there is not, so better for 4 people than 6. Also, bring quarters for laundry. Thanks for a great condo!
We stayed at this property over the July 4th holiday. Although the photos do show the finishes to be dated, it doesnât come close to representing the unit's poor condition highlighted by the musty odor that hits you upon entering due to what appears to be original carpet. A few other observations include loose and bunched carpet creating a trip hazard in places, no screen on the living room window thus allowing flies in when you open the window (to try and vent the musty odor), can lights used for table lamps instead of traditional bulbs, peeling laminate countertops, extremely cheap furniture in living room that was leaning and very unstable, and damage to the microwave and interior of refrigerator. This is just to name a few. None of us were willing to walk barefoot on the carpet considering how old and dirty it is!
The second and more troubling issue, is how the management company, Vail Realty, clearly has no unit finish, condition, or cleanliness standards when marketing a unit for rent. Nor do they have a spine to respond to an email I sent expressing my concerns during my stay. Having owned a condo in the Vail Valley, I know that some of their competitors have such standards. I will never rent another unit managed by Vail Realty, and if Iâm an owner in that building, Iâd be troubled by Vail Realtyâs management practices. Although the unit location is fantastic, which I acknowledge has value, it doesnât overcome the terrible unit experience..a real disappointment!
We just spent a week at this condo in Vail Village (February break 2022) and really enjoyed our stay. The condo was spacious and had plenty of room for our family of 5. Easy walk to Gondola One and the kids all loved the hot tub and pool. Would highly recommend for a family vaca to Vail.
Upon arrival, bed sheets were dirty, some lights and sensors malfunctons, but all issues were addressed rapidly by on site manager. Excellent location, property with good size for Vail.
Overall the unit was well located and represented a good value for the Vail market. However, drawbacks were that it was not completely clean when we arrived and it is sparsely supplied.
