We enjoyed the house. The main living area is very comfortable and a great place to gather. It was clean and the location convenient. The owner was very responsive to any issues.
Plenty of space for my family and my friends family. We loved the open concept downstairs and the outdoor space. A bit of a walk to the French quarter which we appreciated in many ways because it was new years. Jimmie was very helpful, responsive, gave great suggestions for things to do and places to go,and even checked in on us after the incident on New Yearâs Eve.
Great house. Owner was great to communicate with! Very responsive. The neighborhood looks a little sketch, but that is New Orleans. Never had any issues and felt safe. Would definitely go back again!
Location was a short walk to the French Quarter (could reach the main location in 30 min or less). Everything was super clean but with the dishwasher out of service, we ended up hand washing a lot of dishes. Owner was very responsive and apologized for the dishwasher. Neighborhood was quiet and people were friendly. Would stay here again.
Jimmie was a great host. He made sure if there were any problems, he was right on it. The house was nice, easy access to the French Quarters. The downside was, there were no TVs in the bedrooms and the guess in the 4th bedroom was upset because the room had no windows, over all we still had a great time, it's a great place to stay and I will definitely stay again
The house is not in a great neighborhood, but was quiet and conveniently located. Great gathering space in livingroom but this is really a two bedroom with a loft that has two beds in loft and two beds in a large closet. We were pretty disappointed in the lack of privacy. Main bathroom is also in the kitchen with a very non private barn door. All in all it is an ok place, but slightly overpriced for the actual bedrooms provided
The host was great to work with. We stayed with seven adults, all over age 60. The public spaces were welcoming. I think I misunderstood the listing. There are two bedrooms with one bath downstairs. Upstairs there is an open loft sleeping space. You walk through this loft to enter another closed sleeping space.
The house temperature was pleasant.
Again, The host was very responsive.
We had a group of 7 adults, and this property had more than enough space to accommodate us. We loved hanging out in the main area and also the back porch. We never had to drive anywhere except to and from the airport, and loved walking around. We felt safe and had an absolute blast. Thank you, Jimmie!
The house was exactly what was shown on the listing and very clean. Jimmie was very personable and wonderful to work with. When we go back to New Orleans would look up one of Jimmie's houses again. Thanks!
This house was as nice as advertised inside. We had 8 adults and were comfortable with plenty of room to spare. Jimmy was a great communicator and was willing to help at every turn.
The location of the house was convenient and close to most attractions in the area via a car ride. However, It is in an area that I would not recommend walking around at night, but during the day neighbors were definitely friendly.
We had a great time and appreciate the accommodations!!!!
The homeowner was nice and the house was clean, but the neighborhood was far enough from most of our destinations that we needed to drive everywhere and then pay for parking. The bathrooms were charming but had little counter space. One of the neighbors had a rooster that crowed in the wee hours of the morning.
This location was very convenient to the French Quarter and there was plenty of room for our group of 7. Having laundry on site was a huge benefit. Jimmie was wonderful and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this property!
Nice place to stay for weekend in NOLA! Easily accommodates large groups and has main area in open kitchen and living that was great for when all together at the house. French Quarter short Uber or Lyft ride !
We enjoyed our visit. A little far to walk to French quarter in 97 degree heat, so we ubered a lot. Not sure I would walk in the neighborhood at night either, but the house was very comfortable and clean.
The home is clean and well layed out. Jimmie was a pleasure to work with, one of our group even found him dashing! Ha
The location was great-short Uber from everything. Wouldn't walk at night though. My only complaint is that the lighting in the bathroom didn't work well for putting on make-up. Ha! That was the only complaint. Pretty great Jimmie!
We had a great time starting at this home for Mardi Gras. It is set up perfectly for a group with much more space than seen in photos. 15 minute walk to French quarter.
Renovated and modern. Fulll kitchen with basic cooking items and coffee (although more and better quality cook ware + silverware and a baking sheet would be great improvements). 2 bedrooms on main floor with 1 queen bed and 1 full bathroom, 3 Queens and 1 full bed upstairs with a full bathroom. Easy free street parking right in front of the house (plenty of space for multiple cars). Home was clean and ready to accommodate. Host was very friendly and answered all our questions and provided suggestions before and during the trip. I would recommend this home.
The host tried to charge us at the end if the trip for some of his expired (by nearly a year) beers of his that we threw away. Nothing came off it, but it was disappointing that it happened after spending $5k for a long stay.
Our host Jimmie went out of his way by meeting us at the rental when we arrived. Loved the seamless, open space, and modern chic outlay of the property. Very close to the French Quarter.... 6 mins by uber/ 15 mins easy pace walk. House was very clean and everything was just perfect for what a group of 10 needed.
Such a beautiful house! The owner is awesome as well! We all really enjoyed our stay.
Just perfect. The house was amazing and had everything you could think of. The location was just a short drive to everything fun. We will definitely be coming back soon.
I was born and raised in New Orleans. Of course growing up here, I'm in love with the food, history and the culture of the city. I'm a devote Saints fan "Who Dat"!!! My favorite places to eat would be Mr. "B", Drago's, Deanies Seafood, & GW Fins.
This is an amazing and very comfortable space. The downstairs area has an open concept so it's easy to hang out, watch TV, or dine with all your friends.
