Magnifique paysage de montagne sur la propriété du lac local! Belles vues sur le lac de chaque chambre !! Den étonnante dispose cheminée en pierre étendant deux étages de haut avec des bûches à gaz et la zone de collecte inférieur comprend une cheminée bois brique brûlant massif. Vue sur le lac peut être apprécié de nombreux lieux de détente sur cette propriété. Il ya un pont supérieur hors de la véranda, un pont inférieur et un patio pour griller, un foyer pour la détente du soir, chaises hamac sur le porche de la maison et un hamac dans le gazebo surplombant les vues sur le lac. Pour votre détente, il y a un bain à remous sur le patio en pierre surplombant le lac. Mon quartier préféré qui comprend à la fois un coin salon et des chaises longues est situé sur le quai face à une belle vue sur le lac. Cette propriété combine la sensation à la fois une maison de montagne et maison du lac combinés en un seul! Cette propriété unique a été construit en 1974 et comprend des fonctionnalités uniques de son temps! Ce fut l'un des foyers d'origine sur cette zone du lac! La maison mesure environ 4 000 pieds carrés et compte trois étages. La maison du lac est configuré comme quatre chambres et comprend 3 salles de bains. La maison dispose de 2 réfrigérateurs dans la cuisine principale et une comprend une maison du bateau pour plus de commodité tout en passant du temps sur l'eau. Il ya un gril à gaz à la maison qui peut être utilisé par nos clients tout en griller. Les plafonds ouverts et des éléments en bois personnalisées font de cette maison de vacances idéale. La maison est stratégiquement placé sur la propriété de négliger les belles vues sur le lac à la fois de la maison et d'un quai. L'eau à l'extrémité du quai est profonde et idéale pour la baignade. Cette zone du lac est très privé et est idéal pour la navigation de plaisance, la pêche, le kayak et paddle board. Deux kayaks et deux planches de palettes sont disponibles pour mes invités tout en restant à la maison. Avec une arrière-cour de la vie du lac illimitée ceci est l'endroit parfait pour se détendre et profiter des beautés du lac Hyco.

Love the lake

This is a great place! There is plenty of room for Everyone. The home was very clean and having Linens and towels provided was excellent! It really feels like you are in the mountains and The lake is so beautiful. The boat house is wonderful And you can take your drinks and snacks to the Lake and stay all day. We will definitely rent this house Again!

Great Lake House

Our family just spent our second vacation at this house. We had a great week! We love that we are able to bring our boat and use the lift. We love the paddle boards and kayaks as well as the table on the dock for playing games. The house has lots of great spaces for reading a book or playing games but also has plenty of space to get away from each other.

Michael is improving property so some things were under construction. It is a cute house that is well decorated/modernized. Be aware of the spiral staircase as that could be an issue for certain guests. Had a nice relaxing time with kayaks,etc at the lake. Thanks Michael.

Beautiful lake views in this wonderful home

This is the third year our family has stayed in this home. We used to visit a different lake every year but can't find anywhere better than his home on Hyco. We spend a lot of our time at the dock reading and playing games. There is enough covered area for all of us to get out of the sun but enough sunny space if we want to sit in the sun. We cook and eat all our meals in the house and there are several different areas for games or reading. There's something new every year. This year it was a large seating area with tables on the dock. The owner is always great to work with and easy to reach in case we need anything. I would definitely recommend this house to families looking to make great vacation memories!

Great Winter Holiday

We actually stayed at this property for a family get together in December and loved it. The owner is great to work with, attentive, and accommodating. One word of warning, the house has multiple levels and many steps down to the lake. If you're worried about young children or elderly folks you may want to think this through. Also, one suggestion to improve the property. I'm sure during the spring, fall, and summer the downstairs/basement area stays comfortable but during the winter months that area really needs some supplemental heat. Very chilly. Overall though this is a great vacation house. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of room to relax, plenty of parking, the lake, hot tub and fire pit areas are awesome. We hope to be back soon.

Stunning Lake House

We had very high expectations for this rental property and it definitely exceeded all our expectations. This home is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is not all stainless steel and perfectly new but the parts of the house that are older are what make it gorgeous and give it so much charm, in my opinion. The upstairs bath was such a wonderfully, fun, surprise!! I love that the owner new exactly which parts of the house to keep and which parts to update. I think if the Brady Bunch had had a lake house this would have been it. While reading a novel during our stay, I came across a quote that perfectly sums up how we felt at this house. The quote went something like this - it is impossible to walk into this house and feel like anyone except the luckiest person alive. And the location and additional amenities (hot tub, decks, hammock, fire pit and boat house) were all incredible as well. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this rental. Michael, the owner, was always available to answer any questions we had and made us feel very welcome. We definitely hope to return for a much longer stay with more of our family someday soon and would recommend this vacation property to anyone looking for a spacious home in a gorgeous location.

Great Hyco Get Away

Great Property with all you need to enjoy the beautiful Hyco lake. Water toys (paddle boards (3) tubes (5) for relaxing in water, great boat house for sitting lake side with fridge and couch. House is in great shape and kitchen has all you need to cook dinners with propane grill on porch. Hot Tub was well maintained and easy to use. One small thing to be prepared for if you have elderly guest, the path to the lake/boat house has many steps (~70)

Absolutely wonderful experience!

Our group had a fantastic time at this property. Michael was incredibly responsive and helpful with all questions. Check-in instructions were crystal clear and accessing the house was very simple. This property is fantastic. The house is beautifully decorated and the property is beautifully landscaped. We loved the welcoming touch of the gift basket and the teenagers in the group were thrilled about the snacks included in the welcome gift. The house was spotless. We loved having two refrigerators to store everything for our group of six. The outdoor spaces were fantastic. We loved the ground level outdoor seating area with a great view of the lake. We had planned to use the fire pit but the temps were just too hot. We did enjoy the hot tub on a couple of occasions and it was super-clean and relaxing. Others have mentioned the steps down to the boat house and the spiral staircase as items to note for those with mobility issues. I have some mobility challenges, but was able to navigate everything nicely with the use of hiking poles for stability on the outside steps. The boathouse is a great place to hangout with comfy furniture in a shaded space. We made lots of use of the kayaks and paddle boards. We also rented a boat from Hyco Lake Boat Rentals and recommend them heartily. Big thanks to Michael for an idyllic stay at his beautiful home!

Family holiday win!

Our family of six had a wonderful stay. The property is, as it is presented online, simply beautiful. The view, the property, the owner, everything was just as you'd hope it would be. This was our first time renting a home and we weren't sure what to expect. The owner was very responsive and patient with these newbies. He answered all our questions even the minor details about how to use the television remote control. He thought of every detail for our stay, from providing a supply of paper products and hand soap, game boards, spare batteries and washing detergent to a lit holiday tree, wood for the fire pit and piped-in music from the home intercom system. The welcome basket was another special touch that only someone who cared would provide, The most unfortunate part of our trip was that we had to leave. Thank you for making our Christmas holiday a very special one we will always remember.

Exceeded all our expectations!

I can’t say enough nice things about the property owner and the beautiful house! We spent a long weekend there and everything was perfect for our group of 10. The house was stocked with a full kitchen, plenty of linens and a great dock with kayaks and paddleboards. There is plenty of space to spread out and all of the rooms are very spacious. They seriously thought of everything down to the awesome handsoap at every sink! There are a lot of stairs down to the water as well as a spiral staircase so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with mobility issues, but other than that, the place is perfect!

Great summer get away

Michael's house was better in person than in the pictures. The week was a great time away. The house is in quieter area of lake but not so far that you can't get to destinations via water or land. Michael was attentive at a host looking to resolve even the smallest of inconveniences to the best of his ability. His prep call covered everything you need to know about the house and the area. If you are looking for a quiet place on the lake with all the comforts of home, this is the place to go.

Top notch in every respect

Property: Amazing! It is actually better than the listing. The house is great and the location is incredible! Comfortable beds, cold A/C, great kitchen, two refrigerators, and everything that you could want. I would not recommend this property for anyone with mobility issues, as there is a spiral staircase and the walkway to the boat house gave us our exercise for the week. But don't get me wrong... it's amazing. Manager: Michael is better than anyone would ever expect. He was prompt with responses before our visit and he called me on the day of arrival to go over the property details. During our stay, he was amazing. He checked in on us a couple times and was a huge help when a paving crew showed up to work on the road. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. In fact, we're already planning for next year! Thank you Michael!!

I have spent almost 30 years of my life vacationing at Hyco Lake! I can remember the weekend that my parents bought our first lake home. From that point on we have created a lifetime of memories on Hyco Lake. I love being on the water wake boarding and skiing whenever possible. In 2009 I came across this property on Bear Run Lane and fell in love with the character that it offered. I knew before purchasing the home that it was going to be a huge remodel project but I took it on and now I am excited to share it with my guests! I hope that anyone that visits my home will create amazing Hyco Lake memories that will last for a lifetime!
