À propos de cet hébergement
Wake Up in the Woods · Hot Tub · Mirrored Glass
Muir sits on a hillside in the trees — mirrored walls that disappear into the forest by day and open completely to the woods by night. Built around a single idea: get you as close to the woods as possible without asking you to give up a comfortable bed.
Inside, a queen bed sits directly in front of floor-to-ceiling glass with nothing but forest in view.
Named for John Muir — the man who looked at wilderness and saw something worth protecting — it's a room that earns the reference.
About the Glass
During the day the mirrored exterior keeps things completely private — you can see out, no one can see in. At night that reverses. The bathroom is frosted, so no worries there — but we do ask that you use the curtains near the bed once it gets dark. Other guests are on the property, and it's just good neighboring.
Sleeping
• Queen bed facing floor-to-ceiling glass
• Sleeps 2
Outside
• Private hot tub nestled against a natural rock formation (striped towels provided — hot tub and bath towels are kept separate)
• Propane grill with tools
• Woodburning fire pit — firewood and a starter log are ready when you arrive. You'll find the wood box by the steps on the patio. Keep the lid closed so it stays dry.
• Seating for two with blankets for the cooler months
• Privacy paneling between Muir and the neighboring glass home
• Mirrored exterior that reflects the forest during the day
