Overall, we had a good stay, and the home served its purpose for our family’s trip to Louisiana. The house was very spacious, tidy, and had an open layout that comfortably accommodated everyone.The check-in process was a little challenging at first while we figured out the passcode, but once we got in, everything went smoothly.The biggest downside was that the home could definitely use some updating, as the décor felt dated. We were also looking forward to enjoying the outdoor gazebo, but unfortunately the table was broken, there was broken glass in the area, and the outdoor furniture was covered in mildew, so we weren’t able to use that space.Overall, despite those issues, the home met our needs and provided a comfortable place for our family to stay during our visit.

The property was located in the perfect area for our travel needs. It was only 2 miles from Highland Tennis Recreation Park, so very convenient for tennis tournaments. The house was a little outdated, but it was clean, plenty of room and served our purpose. We had an issue unlocking the door (it was my error, but the management team was super helpful and quick to respond). The dishwasher didn't work or the oven, but other than that everything was fine.

Shame on Patriot American Homes management for allowing a VRBO of such a substandard option. We have used many Patriot managed homes the last four years in BR because our daughter attended LSU. Carpet in the bathrooms and let's be honest, you know the cleaners are not shampooing those floors after every renter. Dust a mile thick on all the baseboards and long hair was left on the tub edge. The sheets were clean, thankful for that. The back door needed such a cleaning it needs to be painted. We only stayed cause it was graduation weekend and didn't want to pay 1k min a night for a VRBO in BR. that town is a ripoff and very happy not to have to go back. I rarely give bad reviews but the next renter needs to know what they are walking into.

Love it!

Host was amazing and she help when needed right away, there was not hot water the first day and she fixed it asap. Just washer never worked but she definitely try to getting fixed as soon as possible. Highly recommend !!!

This is NOT as advertised. To start with, communication was horrible. I had to reach out the day before to get information, including address. Pictures clearly very old, wouldn’t be surprised if they were 10 years old or more. The house itself is filthy, right down to the dishes and cups in the cabinets, food stuck on and either bugs or dirt on them. There were wasp nests on all the shutters in the front, the main tub didn’t drain, there isn’t enough seating in the main room, both shower floors were very slippery and there is a general smell of mildew throughout. When I reached out to the owner about a couple of issues, they were responsive, but not helpful. Will never stay here again.
